I sat down for a little bit and thought it was weird they didn't give me any new patient paperwork so I asked if I was suppose to get any. She said yeah and gave me a single piece of paper. So I went to turn it into a different lady who was at the desk and she gave me a packet and said here is the rest of it. So I went and filled that out. Finally it was 10:35 so I ask if it's normal to wait this long after your scheduled appointment time. She said yes when you come in be prepared to wait 15-35 minutes after your appointment time. I didn't get called back to a room until 11 o'clock. Then the doctor didn't come in until 11:25. He was so rude for no reason. He wouldn't let me talk and kept talking over me any time I tried. He was arguing with me about how far along I was compared to my due date. I'm just what I was told from my current OB provider and what my pregnancy app says. He was like a app what's that. I said it calculates how many weeks you are based on your due date. He's like are you talking about a ultrasound and I'm like no! I went in there for a few issues and he walked out the room at 11:30. He didn't ask if I had any questions or anything. Which I did so I was trying to ask and he opens the door as I'm talking and starts answering my questions as he's walking down the hallway. He was just so rude all around. So after waiting almost 2 hours he gave me 5 minutes of his time. When I was trying get a OB referral he asked where I wanted to go and I said I was thinking about the place in swansboro and he's like well I was going to refer you to women's health associates in Jacksonville. He said he didn't think the swansboro one would deliver at onslow. Then he's like I'm just going to refer you to women's health associates and kept repeating himself for no reason then he starts writing it on the paper that's on the chair I'm sitting in. I feel like I've never had such a bad experience or treated so badly by a doctor. I was seen at the naval hospital and the only reason I switched my PCM was because all their doctors PCSed and they hadn't found doctors to replace them so appointments take a month or longer. I'm starting to regret the decision switching when I thought I'd get better service and from start to finish it was horrible!!!

Her death was recorded as the second youngest case in upstate NY. Last year November I approached my physician to set up a test for me to see a neurologist if there was a possibility that I may be a carrier. I waited over 3 months for an appointment that was scheduled to meet with a neurologist specialist in Wilmington, early March but apparently they waited to submit the required paperwork for insurance the day before my appointment. After speaking to an insurance representative turns out that I could have seen a neurologist locally instead of going through weeks of waiting. I just want to know how do wake up everyday and look in the mirror knowing that you have done a huge injustice to a long loyal patient of 15 years?

The appointment itself was handled with the utmost professional behavior. The nurse practitioner was kind, efficient and skillful. The doctor's behavior is caring, insightful, instructive, supporting and healing. I am pleased with the entire staff, their behavior and presentation in general and with each of the individuals I met in the office. They were all individually and as a team focused on patient care. They treated the patient with integrity and honesty. Their collected wisdom and ability was applied every step of they way. I am glad to have come in contact with this practice. Went in for a visit to find the bathroom dirty. They expect the staff to clean it rather than hire…read morea cleaning service. I took a paper towel and some soap and wiped down the sink and toilet seat. I told them about it and that's when I was told staff is required to clean it. There were only a few staff members on duty and a couple of patients. Not sure I want staff cleaning the bathroom and then working on me. SAD The owners of this site should be ashamed of themselves for not having an outside service. May 2026 NOW, AS FOR DOCTOR AND STAFF SERVICE: They are excellent. Very helpful. Had to knock on the door to get someone, but they answered, before I went and filled out that stupid electronic check in. The check in is ridiculous and long.

I had a question about when we would get the link for the appointment and it was impossible to get through to a human through their call center so I had to drive back over there to ask. They finally texted us and saw us--the provider was nice but it was right at 5 pm- they promised they would send the prescription to the pharmacy before they closed, which was important because my child had an ear infection and was in pain but they did not send the prescription and the pharmacist said they were notoriously bad about that and had a generally poor opinion of the facility.
