Consumer Warning - My Experience with Payless Fencing aka Steve Waterholter…read more I want to share my family's experience to help other homeowners make an informed decision before hiring Payless Fencing and Steve Waterholter. My mother signed a contract for a fence totaling $9,200. We paid $8,200 upfront. After months of delays, repeated promises, and numerous scheduled completion dates that were not met, demands for more money the project remains unfinished. Throughout the project, we received multiple explanations for the delays, but the fence was still not completed. We have saved our contract, text messages, photographs, and Ring camera recordings documenting the timeline and the condition of the project. Because the work was not completed as agreed, we have terminated the contract, requested a full refund of the money paid, and have consulted an attorney regarding our legal options. This post reflects our personal experience. We encourage anyone considering hiring this company to do their own research, ask for references, verify licensing and insurance, and carefully review any contract before making a payment.
