Communication leading up to the appointment was excellent, they arrived on time, and expectations around the size and scope of the job were discussed and agreed upon in advance. Unfortunately, the experience changed once the work began. The property was left only partially cleaned, and we later received a text message stating the job would require multiple days to complete. That would have been completely understandable had it been communicated earlier, especially given the agreed scope of work. Instead, there was no advance notice that the job would not be finished, which left us with less than 24 hours to find another company to complete the cleaning before move-out deadlines. The second company was able to complete the work as expected, which made the lack of communication and incomplete service even more frustrating. Overall, the biggest issue was not needing extra time -- it was the absence of proactive communication and follow-through. Based on our experience, I would only recommend this company for much smaller jobs rather than larger move-out cleans. Unfortunately, the overall value was lost when we had to pay to have much of the work redone.

They patched and painted all soffits, etc. They also replaced/reframed a side door on the garage, plus they did a number of other tasks such as patching a crack in the brick on the house, replacing front window shutters, and removing old TV dish wiring. Frank and his team were great all the way through the project! All tasks were completed neatly and on time. The team showed up at 8:30 every day and worked hard all day. Frank was on site with his team (and working) almost the whole time. He kept us updated daily with quote revisions based on any changes we made, and he was flexible and patient. We felt the pricing was very reasonable. They even insisted on re-hanging all of our wind chimes, etc., that had to be removed for the painting. We would not hesitate to recommend Kantu Painting. We will definitely use them again when we repaint the interior of our house. Our house looks great!

We recently contacted this company to get our roof replaced. Everything seemed great at first, the…read moreprice was reasonable and the communication was great. For reference, our sales representative was Michael Morris and our production coordinator was David Villarreal. Initially, Michael gave us the price of $7,960 to get our roof replaced which genuinely seemed like a great deal. Now, our roof had various soft spots due to deterioration over time and I made sure to mention this to Michael before getting the project started. I asked him if this would cause any issues with the pricing and he stated that it wouldn't. However, the day of the roof installation, Cory who is the company owner, spoke with me and informed me that the price had changed and that it'd be an extra $9,900 just to put an extra layer of plywood since the one on our roof was in bad condition. ALMOST 10 GRAND FOR PLYWOOD!! With that being said, the total price to get our roof replaced came out to be $17,860! At that point the shingles on our roof had already been taken off and there was really no turning back. Another issue I had with this company was the warranty, when I first spoke with Michael he stated that the company guaranteed a 30 year warranty for any damage to the roof. After getting the project done, we come to find out that we only have a 10 year warranty. By the way, we never involved our insurance for this repair because we really thought we were getting a great cash price at first but what's insane to me is that at the end of the day, we still need to involve the insurance for any weather damage to our roof, when that was never mentioned initially. David was also horrible with communication, he would not pick up my calls for the most part. He never answered my text message nor voicemail when I tried reaching him at some point. Lastly, he didn't even bother to reply to an email I sent him after the project was done requesting pictures of our roof for our reference. I had to call him 3 days later to have him send it over and on top of that he sounded bothered. This was overall a whole mess and a very uncomfortable situation having to communicate with David. Despite all this, the roof guys did an excellent job with our roof. I just don't recommend investing your time and money into this company when you can get the job done for WAY LESS elsewhere. I truly hope this doesn't happen to anyone else because no one should have to put up with unprofessional people or last minute price changes.
