Our architect was more than willing to help us out in purchasing what we need. He suggested that we go to his "Suki" store and ended up here. For me, I wanted to go somewhere where I go buy everything at a very reasonable price. Plus, we were recommended to go here because our architect has a membership card! 5% off is still a good discount! The warehouse is fairly small compared to the ones in Pasig. But, the selection they have are the reliable brands that come with a good price tag. However, they didn't have some brands that I wanted to buy. A bit inconvenient but I plan to just go to the main branch for other items. The one thing I didn't like was that, when we needed help, it took quite awhile for any staff to help us. Only when they noticed that we were buying in bulk that they started to eagerly help out. When their staff did start helping us, they provided useful, informed, and practical advise on which product to buy. In the end, we bought 3 sets of toilets and sinks, 2 sets of showers, my kitchen sink and other fixtures! After adding it all up with the 5% discount, we were ready to pay. Then, the manager approached us and offered that we pay Cash on Delivery. Whut?! That is unheard of but, of course, we accepted! This shopping trip really got me excited for the next few weeks! :D

Because I recently got a little cat, I've been going around looking for food and other items it needs. Today, when I went to Ace Hardware, I was so happy because they had the sand I need to put in the cat's litter box. Yes, they also have items for dogs. Don't forget to whip out your SM Advantage cards when paying so you can earn points. And also check this shop out when you're in the area. They have sales and things really cost cheaper. They also have items on bargain almost every month.

Unlike going to the bigger home depots (where I tend to get overwhelmed with things), I know that when I go to Quarry Bay, I can simply get what I need for a reasonable price. We just recently bought bags of sand, cement, some angle bars and steel matting from them for our mini-project at home. They even have paints, drilling machines and light bulbs. The only downside here is that their store is very cramped and quite warm, but then again, it's not like you'll spend hours there anyway. You get what you need and you're out. They're still the most reliable nearby hardware store for me. I have never gone out of there empty handed.

I alighted at Buendia and walked for five minutes to the Imarflex Factory Outlet. Once inside, I was immediately disappointed to find that most of the electric ovens were at a regular price. In fact, the products on sale were limited, and most of them were on sale because of some minor defects. But my trip to the outlet did end up worth it because I was able to score a hand mixer at around 30% discount, if I recall correctly. Anyway, I was already eyeing that particular model in SM a few days prior, but couldn't quite afford it yet. I chose from the many units on display, and saw one with just a tiny, almost unnoticeable paint chip. It was almost scot-free. Sweet! I got it for my mom and it gave us lots and lots of cakes and pies during the holidays. And we lived happily ever after.
