Our architect was more than willing to help us out in purchasing what we need. He suggested that we go to his "Suki" store and ended up here. For me, I wanted to go somewhere where I go buy everything at a very reasonable price. Plus, we were recommended to go here because our architect has a membership card! 5% off is still a good discount! The warehouse is fairly small compared to the ones in Pasig. But, the selection they have are the reliable brands that come with a good price tag. However, they didn't have some brands that I wanted to buy. A bit inconvenient but I plan to just go to the main branch for other items. The one thing I didn't like was that, when we needed help, it took quite awhile for any staff to help us. Only when they noticed that we were buying in bulk that they started to eagerly help out. When their staff did start helping us, they provided useful, informed, and practical advise on which product to buy. In the end, we bought 3 sets of toilets and sinks, 2 sets of showers, my kitchen sink and other fixtures! After adding it all up with the 5% discount, we were ready to pay. Then, the manager approached us and offered that we pay Cash on Delivery. Whut?! That is unheard of but, of course, we accepted! This shopping trip really got me excited for the next few weeks! :D

With that being said, I had the opportunity to visit this place just a few days ago. I had a dilemma because I had to buy dog food and a door knob because I was out of dog food and our doorknob broke. I always buy dog food at a supermarket in the Fort S&R because it's cheap there. MC Home Depot helped my buying a door knob very convenient because it was just beside S&R. Not only that, It's in the Fort. It's basically a one stop shop for home needs and it's inside the Metro. How convenient. Apart from that, they also have a lot of brands that you can choose from. I found my doorknob and I was on my way, after paying of course. For people who are bringing cars, not to worry because they have parking spaces. They really thought of everything. So there I was on my way home: dog food in the back and a doorknob on the passenger seat.

They may not start building their own tables or a wrap-around porch but it is still fascinating even if all we do is fantasize about all the furniture we can build. Handyman has rows and rows of tools and parts that anyone needs for their homes or their creative projects. Whether it's to repair a leak in the faucet or a squeaky hinge or if you want tiki torches for your garden. What's really good about this place is that the personnel that they assign to each section really knows their products. They know which ones you need and will point you to the right direction. And they're not after selling you the most expensive products. They tell you which ones best suit your needs and will last longer even if it's cheaper than the one you originally set your eyes on. It's always a pleasure being assisted by salespeople who knows what they're doing and are not always after profits. I think more than the extensive selection of products, the attitude of their personnel is their more important asset.

Ortigas Home Depot has a variety of furniture, lighting, tiles, bathroom needs, and more on display. Apart from that, there are many other small shops which provide services like installation of custom window blinds or even a sauna in your bathroom. There are two floors in this store. The second floor is where you will find the high-end furniture shops and Blims. Unlike the other stores that we visited, we appreciated that the staff did not follow us around like vultures and try to sell us while we browsed. The staff was quick to help us out and even helped us save some money by giving us a great deal on our purchases! We looked at other furniture depots but none of their inventory and good deals could compare. The Home Depot also has different ways to finance the furniture you purchase through them that fit your needs. If you're looking to purchase new furniture and fixtures, I recommend stopping by this place and don't be shy to ask if they have promotions. They can even reserve fixtures for you until you are ready to pick it up!

Armed just with a floor plan sketch and measurements for doors and windows I was able, with the help of sales people on the floor, to find and identify all the windows and doors for our soon to be built home. I felt no undue pressure or the addition of the dreaded "foreigner tax" many of us expatriates experience. True professionals. Once started we intend to return for plumbing and lighting fixtures. Hence, I just added my review to this location. I was referred to Wilcon by my contactor Madrigalejos Construction Services. Wilcon was one of the two places that Joseph Madrigalejos referred me to for bathroom and kitchen fixtures. I dealt with Adrian, who represents Grohe and Joseph, who represents Kohler. It took me a long time to decide what bathroom fixtures I wanted to purchase since the Grohe prices were much higher than the other brands. I ended up purchasing Grohe, instead of Kohler, only because Adrian was able to find something in stock that wasn't even being displayed, which was less than what was on display. The following week, it was time to change the kitchen faucet. Grohe had something on display, but the store didn't have it in stock. Adrian contacted me once they had it in stock. It was very convenient to just find Adrian because he is usually on the first floor by Grohe's display. He and another employee showed me what was within the box I ordered. Then, a different employee carried the item to the cashier. I was in and out within 15 minutes. I admire Adrian's customer service. He'll definitely be someone I'll be looking for if ever I need additional fixtures.
