The small town vibe and personality it holds is true. We haven't had a lot of issues such as "out of stock" product or waiting in a line to try on garments.. These aren't many issues, but when seasons like Summer or Holidays pick up, it is a noticeable motivator. Best times to shop at Walmarts are usually the earliest times in the day and after the peak of season sales... We all love to see happy strangers shopping and letting their kids have some shopping fun too.

Chad Lovett (owner) of Beyond the Backdoor was a pleasure to work with and I would hire him again…read morefor another project of similar scope. My wife Samantha was looking for a contractor to build an outdoor kitchen for me and found and interviewed three to four different vendors. Ultimately Chad won our business with a bid that represented the best value and the most aggressive timeline. Chad's subcontractors were all professional and showed up on time. They made recommendations along the way that ultimately cost us a bit more money, but they were well received and well worth it in the end. Chad is an excellent project manager and has good relationships with his subcontractors which is key in getting them to show up nowadays. Chad was frequently on the jobsite checking on progress and ensuring we were happy with each phase of the project. Chad's project management skills are what sets him apart from other contractors in my mind. He plans for each phase of the project and ensures the client is happy before proceeding to the next phase which eliminates surprises, costly redoes, and keeps the project on time. Given the opportunity, my wife and I would certainly consider Chad and Beyond the Backdoor as a frontrunner for another outdoor project. His company delivers excellent quality with great value and gets the job done on time. If anyone wants to see pictures of my project, please contact Chad and he will let me know. While it deals with consignment and estate sale items, you would hardly believe it if you saw the large variety and superior quality of the items on their showroom floor. I've been shopping estate sales for a long time and I never saw this amount of quality "consignment" furniture in any one place before. The only thing more surprising than the quality of these items is their prices. I purchased a "new" couch for my home from Taylor's Treasures and am amazed at it's original quality and overall condition. It was sold at a VERY reasonable price which was lower or comparable to the price of many much lesser quality "new" couches found in stores. Taylor's Treasures, a family owned and locally run business, also does their own delivery and so can charge much less than the going rate.

We settled on one midsize chiminea, and Eric volunteered to add a varnish at no extra cost to make it look better at last longer. Not too many businesses these days, give you the extras that make the purchase so worthwhile. Eric also took the time to show me around his business, and I was very impressed with the amount of firewood available in the back as well as all the decorative items in the store. I highly recommend these folks as they are new owners of this business and are going out of their way to make me feel welcome. I will definitely be back.
