I came here trying to support my local business. When dropping the bars off I spoke with jeff who…read morewas in the office and told him what I wanted for paint and flake for my bars. Jeff told me that Adam would be contacting my to get the color and flake desire. I never got a call nore and email. After waiting a week n half I was told they were ready for pickup. When I went to pickup the bars they were painted incorrect paint color/ combo. Wasn't painted like I asked for. I asked for gloss black and a little bronze and red flake. They basically painted the bars black with a shit tone of gold flake and with very little red flake. When asked why it was painted this color. I was told by jeff that I asked for it that way. When I specifically asked for gloss black and a little bit of flake in the paint to make it pop. After being basically yelled at by jeff saying that's what I ordered, I was told to take my bars and get out. To which I paid for the incorrect paint job and left due to the fact they wouldn't repaint them like I asked. Stating that they wouldn't eat the bill for repainting my stuff. I just wanted to get what I asked and paid for NOW I'm forced to take it to another powder coating place or just leave it. Seriously Poor communication from the staff. Which lead to incorrect painting to be done. "Isn't that what you do"? "Isn't that what this place is for"? I Wouldn't recommend anyone come to this place. There are other powder coating places that are WAY MORE PROFESSIONAL than this. PLUS, you won't have to yelled/talked at by JEFF zero stars

Crystal Soda Blast - After removing the toxic material.

Brian came right away and gave us so many helpful suggestions such us using fireblock to fill all the gaps in the ceiling in the garage. He then sent one of his crew members to come in and remove the toxic product inside and around the garage. He didn't use any chemicals to remove the material off the concrete. A vacuum was attached to the blade the entire time to minimise amount of dust released into the garage. For 12 days we were living in a toxic environment, stressing every day, couldn't sleep; but after Crystal Soda Blast removed this toxic material off the walls, we were finally able to relax and not worry about this problem anymore. Thank you Brian! Can't thank you enough. I highly, highly recommend this company!

And then they charged us for their own equipment failures. Also, they came out to look at our floor before offering a quote. The person who came out barely looked at it and said it should take two days. The damage and old glue on the floor was obviously visible, but then they said that because of the hidden factors it was going to take four days instead of 2, so the project ended up costing us twice as much as what they quoted. In addition, they showed us a color booklet and said we could select any color stain from it. We selected one, but then at the very last minute on the day of staining they said they "couldn't find" that color, used a different color, and then charged us for the original color anyway.

But then another 3 months go by, NOTHING! So I phoned again then they asked for a copy of the original job proposal, emailed to them, then we never heard from them for months again. So I called again and again about once a week, so far no one answers the phone calls from me. They probably don't want to do the job, who knows what the reasons might be??? Just very un-responsive and unreliable. A total waste of time.

Contessa Metalworks handled railings for our custom home. They were a pleasure to work with. Paul…read moredid a great job walking us through our options, and took the lead on a number of design points that wouldn't have occurred to us, or which we thought would have been cost-prohibitive. He was competitively priced with other contractors we considered -- indeed, less expensive than some -- while offering additional details in the work we probably couldn't have gotten from another team, at least not easily. His personal attention to detail, something we've found all too often lacking in the construction industry, was very much appreciated. The only thing I could offer as an area they could have improved on is timeliness. The work was completed much later than Paul had promised; installation of the railings held up our final inspection, enough that we had to pay for another year of building permit, and delayed our move-in by a couple of months. That said, the end result was worth the wait, and by engaging the company on the project earlier in the process, a delay like that should not have much impact, if any. As the well-known triangle goes, we got "quality" and "price", so it was not too surprising that "on time" got the short end of the stick. And for us, that was a fine trade-off to make, all said and done. We have a few more "finish" details that using a metal installation is an option, and while we haven't made our final decision, most likely Contessa is going to get the call to fabricate the pieces for those details as well. We're looking forward to working with them again.
