History
Established in 2013.
In January 2013 Janine decided to follow her passion and start a business that would help small businesses in the area know where they are financially so they can see where they want to go.
Meet the Business Owner: Janine K.
Always having an interest in the financial side of things, Janine attended Rider University and, in 1989, received a BS degree in Accounting. She started her financial career as a Supervisor in the accounting department at Merrill Lynch/State Street Bank. This position provided a strong foundation, not only in the world of accounting, but in business as well. In 2004, she felt the need to branch out and create a business on her own terms. Over the next 8 years she created, and ran, two consumer-to-consumer businesses, both of which were sold at a profit. During this time, continuing to have a strong interest in the financial arena, she also took on various bookkeeping clients.
In 2013, she realized that her true interest, as well as strength, was in the bookkeeping practice. As a result, she transitioned her bookkeeping side-business into a full-time career, and created Janine's Bookkeeping LLC.
