As much as I like to support and endorse local small businesses, my experience with jazzy gourmet popcorn was extremely unsatisfactory. I was exhausted from travel and had two young boys in tow so I was rushing when I ordered two bags of popcorn. There was no pricing evident around the kiosk, nor were the bagged marked with any size/quantity information. Once I got home I reviewed my receipt and saw that I was charged $46 for two small bags of popcorn; I was shocked. I did try to resolve this with the business, but they were quite condescending. Additionally, I found the quality of the popcorn to be subpar, especially considering the exorbitant price. I had specifically asked the employee if I should wait and buy it closer to Christmas as it was intended to be a gift for my daughter and I wanted it to be fresh. He insisted it would absolutely remain fresh by Christmas which was 10 days away. The flavors were nicely done, but the popcorn texture was stale to me once we got home and snacked on one of the bags. I definitely will not be a returning customer. read more

RIP OFF!!! Went to the Anchorage Airport and the guy at the Jazzy Gourmet Popcorn stand was handling out samples. Tried some and told him I wanted the smallest bag. He had some issue with the card reader when I was using Google Pay. After purchase went through, I saw he charged me $26.00 for a small bag of popcorn. I told him that I ordered the smallest bag (still $20), but he said the $26 bag was small, and since he had handed me the bag, he couldn't exchange it. And, it wasn't that good! Horrible service. Low quality product. They misinterpreted the price then refused to give any money back Once they had their hands on they money they put it away immediately and said they can't give refunds because we touched the bag. Steer clear of these people. read more

I was walking to Jalapeno's (which was total ASS) and passed this place. Upon first glance I was like damn these people get no business selling popcorn lol. But boy was I wrong. After my ass of an experience at Jalapeno's I went inside to check it out. Fucking popcorn heaven guys. The selection of popcorn was SO DAMN GOOD MAN. And it's family owned!! Super cute. I got the dill pickle and caramel which are both just orgasmic. They let me sample a ton of flavors as it was my first time. This place is amazing. Check it out y'all. read more

This is some good popcorn kids. With 50 falvors, there's something for everyone. There's sweet, salty, sweet and salty, tangy, spicy, fruity... Cedric the owner says Dill is his most popular flavor, and I can see why. It tastes just like a yummy pickle! I'm a fan of the Golden Nugget which is a luscious caramel corn. And I also really like this bizarre combination called Extra Chicago... it's cheddar popcorn and caramel corn all in the same bag. When you eat them together, something magical happens in your mouth. My honey likes the over the top sweet Zebra corn... it's caramel with white and regular chocolate. It's intense! read more

I came across Jazzy Popcorn at the Market, Downtown. The Market is a fabulous weekend happening, every weekend in the Summer. This is a family run business. They have samples they gladly hand out to all. The flavors are divine. Cheese, Chocolate, Caramel, many other wonderful smells and flavors. I purchased a few bags. I really wanted Peanut Butter as well. However, sadly enough they were out. You may also order bags on line. They will ship them to you. It is a bit high priced. But, it is Alaska and things cost a little more. Due to having to ship everything in. If you live in Alaska, you know this is a special treat. Another great Alaska made product. read more

This place is great! Went in not knowing what to think. How crazy can popcorn get? You're able to sample any flavor you like. And it's not just one little popcorn piece. You get a nice sized sample! I tried cotton candy flavor, and it literally tastes like cotton candy. They have SO many different flavors, I could have been in there all day. And the owner is so fun to talk to! So nice! I love me some popcorn and was very excited to find this little treasure owned and operated by one of our local families in the community. Sadly I didn't get to try your popcorn because on numerous occasions you were never truly open during your business hours. And I the day I decided to wait for you to finally arrive 45 minutes after your time states, I watch you walking and go straight to the back and start working. No washing of your hands, no washing of your daughters hands, even though she was up front manning the register. Sorry but I will never buy from your store. Was disappointed! Tried a little from my friend and it was pretty good so we stopped by. Ordered the butter movie popcorn and threw it away. It was literally wet...drenched in a yellow sauce. The popcorn pieces were tiny and broken into tiny pieces. I didn't want to drink my popcorn nor use a spoon as though it was cereal. Sad face! read more

I was warmly greeted and asked if I had been a visitor before. I had not been so I was shown the menu and purchase sizes. I was told it is okay to sample everything I wanted to buy before purchasing and was also given samples to try to see if I would like something in the same flavor range. Overall excellent experience.
