The studio is clean and well-kept, yoga mats are disinfected after every use. The floors are a finished cork material that are a little easier on the joints. The front desk staff are always kind and courteous. I always feel genuinely welcome whenever I come in, which is a huge reason why I keep returning. The parking situation is free street parking on Old County Rd. Usually there's at least a spot available, but give yourself a few minutes before class in case you need to maneuver into a spot on the opposite side of the road. One unique aspect of this studio is the play lounge. For a nominal fee and advanced reservation, a childcare provider can look after your child(ren) during your class, with plenty of toys and activity materials provided. So far I have not needed to use this perk, so I can't speak to experiences there, but it's still something special I have not seen at other fitness studios. Another thing to note is that a few of the classes are livestreamed, so if recording bothers you, just check the class at the time of booking. Most of the studio goers are women in their 20s-40s. I have seen several mature attendees and Katie was great about checking on them during more challenging poses in the mindful flow classes. Everyone wears fitness attire ranging from sports bras, tank tops, t-shirts, leggings, shorts etc. During the barre classes, many go barefoot, some choose to wear grippy socks. I love the judgment-free environment here. We are all at different stages of our fitness journey, and everyone is welcome in this studio.

Zumba is a fun high energy cardio work out with a great music play list. The group training class is such a positive atmosphere to be in. I love that the instructor Miggy will demonstrate whatever exercise we should be working on, but he's also great at modifying if there's a limitation we have! The fresh new equipment and modifications to the studio really make this a great place to work out and get a good sweat on! I went to a beginner Zumba class here for the first time with a friend the other night. Had an…read moreawesome time. The instructor was full of energy and made you want to work out. The place is small and there weren't many people there which I really liked. It felt more personal than classes that have 30 or so people. One of the ladies who works there even came over to me half way through the workout to ask how I was doing since I was new at Zumba. The people taking the class also seemed very friendly. It was hard though since I didn't know the steps and have two right feet when it comes to dance moves. However, I kept moving and ended up getting a great workout. Can really see that the more I come there, the easier it will get with learning the steps. Overall I really enjoyed my experience there and want to return for more classes.

I am grateful to Patrick and Shawna, they don't just "run" a gym, but they formed a community. I often drive 6th day up to their gym for their Saturday bootcamp, where it's a mix of cardio, core and boxing with warm-up and cool down. There's bigger name gyms out there with all the fancy machines, but you don't learn technique and don't get a complete workout. Now, I can do burpees, crunches and push-up with ease. I don't recall ever being so balanced in my fitness, meaning my cardio, core and strength is balanced. Side benefit is I don't slouch anymore! Side note, Patrick and Shawna also give back to the community and take in kids after school giving them a place to learn about exercise and boxing.

During COVID-19 Shawna and Patrick did a great job providing online classes which I really appreciated while being stuck inside. The gym is extremely clean and they have their own parking lot which makes parking a breeze. I usually attend their 6:00 classes and the other members quickly became friends. I finally started and wasn't sure if I would stick to it since I favor high intensity workouts. I am now 1.5 months in, have joined the monthly membership and building this routine and consistency into my life. I love the breathing that takes place and it's been a really nice form of de-stressing (full time working mom of 2 kids). I've taken classes from different instructors and what I love is that each class is taught a little differently; they have their own routines. I have not felt like I've taken the same class twice. They really help you with adjustments and while I felt like I kept getting corrected, they're really intentional about helping you improve on your form and most importantly, being safe with your body. All the instructors and front desk receptionists are friendly. I'm really enjoying this new community. If you're looking to get back into being active, get curious and take a class!

I really liked my instructor in the first class; the energy and the way she led the group were different, combining rhythmic movement with melodic voice commands. I paid for two weeks during which I met other coaches - all of them were great! What I appreciate about this place is that there was never the same set of exercises; every day brought something new. However, I am still deciding whether to return because I also want to do yoga, and their prices are quite high. They offer payment for 10 classes, whereas many places have a price for an unlimited month instead. All in all, it's a good place to incorporate into your daily physical routine without getting overtired.
