What I do like about Onelife is that there is enough equipment for everyone. This place is usually busy around 4-5. The front desk staff are nice and friendly. The men trainers not so much always on their phone and are rude. Onelife needs to do some deep cleaning though I have never in my life seen so many dust in a gym and there machines are old as heck! They are going to swear they clean it everyday!

The planet fitness off Holland road in Virginia Beach is clean, has plenty of machines and is located in a great location if your running errands and trying to get a workout accomplished. I wish planet fitness had a sauna but it definitely fits my needs and I don't plan on canceling the membership anytime soon.

A little boy who was bigger than my daughter was allowed to tell her where to go and try to direct her against her will. The employee present did not correct the situation or ensure my child felt safe. As a parent, that was extremely unsettling. Staff should be paying attention and stepping in when one child is trying to control or push another child around. Allowing that kind of situation to continue without intervention creates an unsafe environment. On top of that, after I cancelled my subscription and informed them that I was cancelling, they still charged me for an additional month. Being billed after cancelling is unacceptable. Between the unsafe situation involving my child and being charged after cancelling, I cannot recommend this business. Parents should be cautious.

And if you are a morning workout person, the gym will be crowded with active mil folks getting preference especially during PRT events. All in all the gym is clean, staffed by friendly helpful folks and well equipped. No nonsense gym, not a place to get a date, so where only gear to work out in and if you have to walk from the bowling alley to park, that is part of the workout. Four stars due to not open 24/7.

They do offer certain classes, I believe on Wednesday's and Saturday's. There are certain staffing hours but the gym is opened 24 hours, so you can get your work out on anytime as long as you're a member. They have most of the mainstream equipment and several cardio machines. The energy drinks are a little pricey; however, if you need a little pick me up then at least they have something to help.
