You pay 7,50€ for a tiny snack. They do seem to get more expensive each year. As there is no alternative it's kindof a "lock in" thing. You can't bring in your own drinks either, so you once you are in you're burning money faster as your ex can spend it. It is tasty, but hugely overpriced. Because there isn't a real alternative (the "fries shop" also charges 3x normal prices) people accept this but it isn't right. When I stood in queue for ice-cream I thought I was going to pay 2,5€ per scoop as well (a "credit" costs 2,5€) but they were the only one's charging HALF a credit. Very very nice.

This was my first time at Tomorrowland and I was absolutely blown away. Everything was top notch…read morecompared to raves or festivals in other countries. Bathrooms were consistently stocked and generally clean. There were cup recyclers just walking around collecting cups. Still trash on the floor but definitely not as much as I've seen at other venues. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The food was hit or miss but the majority of it was really good (go for the to go steak and the raw oysters!) Every stage was so magical and amazing. It rained on the third day and I brought a raincoat but they also do sell them at many of the stores. Obviously only downside is probably the walk to the shuttles at night if you're going back to a hotel but they do have a shuttle that goes to the parking lot if you leave an hour earlier! Overall an epic experience. I thought this would maybe be just a once in a lifetime experience for me but I would like to go again if given the chance.

I've never had to pay for a toilet at any other festival). Also, you are required to purchase tickets to buy drinks and food, which is okay, but you're stuck with a ton of tickets after the festival which can't be used for anything! One of our group had to throw away about 100 dollars worth of tickets because he wasn't able to use them all. Another down thing about this festival is that they shut down the rooms which get full. Not so good when you book such popular artists like Knife Party, Disclosure, etc. The best highlights this year were Dillon Francis, Knife Party, Flosstradamus, Gesaffelstein, and Annie Mac. It was a good variety fair with excellent atmosphere. Not that great variety of food but really excellent for drinking. I would suggest if you have kids under 10, they would especially love.

This weekend we came in the square braved the lines and got our tokens so we could enjoy samples from all breweries the festival have to offer. the line to pay for the ticket had some pretty nasty event organizer, the lad was very rude and vicious, I with I didn't have experienced that side of Brussels, after we got our tickets everything was ok again, hope next year she doesn't come back. The European way of life is one I love, you see the people hanging and drinking as well as enjoying cigarettes and cigars at the square while enjoying the brews of choice from the over 30 brewers that were there serving their beers, there was a fun band as well and some giveaways, people networked and had fun with strangers this was really a great time. this beer festival gave me the opportunity to try a CHOCOLATE CHERRY BEER! I was amazed with it. it tasted so good that now I am sad that I can only have that beer in Belgium lol I must come back here one day this festival is very worth it.
