Very disappointing experience with Lasting Impressions Valet -- use extreme caution…read more
I used Lasting Impressions Valet on Saturday, August 8, 2026, and unfortunately, my vehicle was damaged while it was in their possession. I discovered the damage the following morning, Sunday, August 9, 2026, when I went to wash my vehicle. What makes the situation even more concerning is how the owner, Kevin Lawrence, handled my complaint afterward.
When Kevin Lawrence initially reached out to me regarding the damage, he asked me to provide pictures of the damage, as well as the year, make, and model of my vehicle. I provided the requested information. However, he then took another full day to respond, ultimately telling me that his company was not liable for the damage. He stated that, based on what he saw in the pictures, the damage could not have occurred while my vehicle was in their care because there were no signs of any type of collision. Once again, that reasoning made no sense to me. A vehicle does not necessarily have to be involved in a major collision to sustain damage.
I personally handed my vehicle keys directly to the owner. He described himself as the only person working the valet stand at the time and acknowledged that he was the person I handed my keys to. Before he moved my vehicle, I specifically asked him to please be careful with my vehicle. The owner, Kevin Lawrence, then replied, "We'll take care of you."
Later, when I spoke with him by phone about the damage, he explained that he had moved and parked my vehicle near a mailbox of some sort. During that conversation, Kevin Lawrence also tried to defend his company by explaining that, in the year he had been in business, his employees had never caused any damage to a customer's vehicle. I found that statement very strange and completely irrelevant to the situation because he was the person who had taken my keys and moved my vehicle.
Rather than directly addressing the circumstances surrounding my vehicle, I felt that he was attempting to circle around the issue and redirect the conversation toward his employees' history, making it seem as though his company could not possibly be responsible. To me, it came across as an attempt to talk around the situation rather than genuinely investigate what happened.
When I described the person I handed my keys to, he acknowledged that it was him. He also stated that he was the only person working the valet stand at the time. That made the discussion about his employees even more confusing and concerning.
I then explained exactly where the damage occurred and that the area had recently been painted. Instead of taking the concern seriously or making a genuine effort to investigate what happened, I was told that, based on the photographs, there was no evidence that my vehicle had collided with something, hit another vehicle, or picked up another vehicle's paint.
I questioned that reasoning because a vehicle can be damaged while being maneuvered, parked, backed into something, or coming into contact with an object without necessarily leaving another vehicle's paint behind.
There was also additional confusion when the owner asked me whether I was the person whose female companion needed to change into flat shoes. I explained that I was not that person. This added to my concern because it appeared there was confusion about which customer or vehicle he was referring to.
Ultimately, I felt that instead of investigating the situation fairly, the response was to deny responsibility and attempt to explain the damage away. I expected much more accountability, especially because I personally handed my keys to the owner and specifically asked him to be careful with my vehicle.
Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering using Lasting Impressions Valet. My biggest issue is not simply the damage to my vehicle; it is how the situation was handled afterward and the conflicting explanations regarding who had possession of my vehicle and moved it.
Very disappointing experience, particularly with the owner and the lack of accountability shown when I brought the damage to his attention.
The owner Kevin Lawrence is extremely unethical! Whoever reads this review. If you every have an issue with this company. He will continue to deny any wrong doing. (Updated 8/1726)
