After moving the rocks around, it was apparent that the weed fabric was not used everywhere, so now I still have to remove weed every year...a picture is attached as evidence of my statement. They also left a bush stump in the ground and just laid the rocks on top of it. This created an obvious bump in the ground with the black fabric poking through the white rocks. They just left it like that, like no one would notice. I had to call him back to get it fixed. They cut corners and apparently need to be supervised at all times to do the job right. Is it just me or have contractors gotten lazy and sloppy since COVID-19, whatever happened to the American work ethic...

Then two days later texted if they could come Friday which i agreed. A no show... then very late in the afternoon texted they had a family emergency could they come Saturday. Again I agreed and gave them a time which they said see you Saturday. Now comes Saturday and I get a text past our appointment time if they could come later which I gave them a time they could come around 4pm Around 4 I get a text ...when are you available on Monday as we quit for the day due to rain. I again gave them a time frame when I was available on Monday after 1pm. Well again a no-show and no communications I finally sent them a text to tell them what a joke of a company and that they have no customer service skills on Monday night. Now they urgently sent a reply saying they apologize for the inconvenience and thats not how they run their company. Buyer beware, no shows..a big red flag, poor communications and just a lack of urgency when this is what they do for a living. As far as I'm concerned I dodged a bullet and you should too! P.S. This is just a follow-up on my review of Enhanced landscaping. He just called me to tell me to quote " go f**k myself" Such a classless act from a embarrassing company. Serendipity struck as I was passimg through Almont for work and by happenstance was passing by American Tree. Paul, the manager, was wearing a #plantgeek shirt and helped me piece together a plan for my patio, pulling together a mix of grasses and herbs/veggies to get me started on my horticultural adventure. He was spirited and lively and had no shortage of 'thyme' to answer all my questions and help me with my selections. I live in Ann Arbor, so I'm a WAYS away from home, but this place will be my 'go to' landscape/nursery supplier whenever I'm up this way.

We called Rob for a quote and to help paint a vision for design. This is where Rob shines. We only knew that we wanted a focal point, fire pit area for entertaining and to reclaim much of the unusable, untamed land. Rob brought in pictures, samples, walked the property with me and my Wife multiple times as we refined and honed the vision. With this type of larger scale land and hard-scaping it would be nearly impossible to design the entire project ahead of time. That's where our faith in Rob and the Sinacori crew is essential. Rob actually grew up in our sub and between that, seeing many of their projects first hand and knowing their excellent reputation we moved forward with a $25k+ project that we felt was a reasonable price for the scope of work. The best way for us to describe the outcome is one word - oasis. The project took 6 days in total and started with brush removal and excavating a path to what would become the dramatic fire pit focal point dug out of the side of a sloping hill. Each day Rob would meet with us multiple times to update on progress, ask questions and plan for the coming stages/work. This gave us time to think and plan and made for an incredibly collaborative relationship that translated into a project that has exceeded our expectations. Each day the crew was on time, stayed the expected duration, were efficient and thoroughlu cleaned up at the end of the day. Very impressed with their work ethic. I can't possibly do justice to the process and outcome in this write up other than to say - if you are considering any size project please give Rob and the Sonacori Team a call and trust in their incredibly skilled, plan full, efficient and professional approach.
