Then Monday the day of the scheduled job the crew showed up but the person in charge of the roofers didn't. No problem. The next day they show up and get to work. Good thing I work from home if not my roof we be wrong as we were removing an old jack. from a fireplace and a few others. The foreman then had to drive back to my house as the roofing crew did not understand. After talking to the Foreman they still covered a roof vent for my Bathroom fan. After calling them again the Foreman and the owners son showed up. After a lot of confusion I was told by the owners son that a bathroom fan vent on the roof is HVAC and they will only do what is in the contract. After a heated conversation I told them to do the job right or I'll pay for the material and get someone else to do it right. He owners son then said he is placing a lien on my house and and it is now going to be his. After the foreman separated us to cool down, I tried to call the owner John and he did not answer. I pulled up the contract to show it says about the roof jack and the son said he is pulling his crew and will take my house. The foreman then said to deal with him and I told the foreman that the owners son needs to leave my property. The owners son then tried to fight me and said to make him. leave the property. After all this they finished the roof only to find out that the did not install any flashing, so now I have exposed wood on the sides of my house and they did not paper over the whole roof, which will cause a leak and now my whole house smells of asphalt. The owner will not answer my calls or texts. The foreman is the only one Trying. I stopped payment till this issue is fixed and will probably end up in court as it seems this company is less than a year old and will not be around long. Save yourself the hassle.

He hauled off five truckloads of river stone mulch, that I never should have used, treated the beds for grass and weeds, and laid a nice thick coat of black hardwood mulch over a much better quality landscape weed barrier fabric. In my backyard I had a pretty bad drainage problem especially in heavy rains that kept washing some of the mulch away from a bed that already had black mulch unlike the rest of my house that had stone. Peyton dug a trench and put in a large drain and corrugated pipe that seems to have resolved the issue after two very heavy storms since. You can tell in the photo where he did it by the grass seed and straw that he spread over the area. You can also see in the back of the landscape bed the five junipers I had transplanted a couple of years ago. Half of the growth on one of them has died and I may lose the entire shrub. Payton said that that's common for transplants plus the heat has been pretty bad. But he advised me on how I might be able to save it if I treated the roots a couple of times this year with a hormone treatment solution. If it's too late for it I'll just have Payton come back and replace it.

When the battery he forgot to replace did run out of juice a week later, another company discovered the wired smoke detectors werent connected, so they all had to be replaced. Whether this was incompetence or negligence on Luke's part, I cant say, but I would not trust him to keep your home safe On the other hand, there's Wayne the boss - a loose cannon, to put it mildly. His main role seems to be some sort of enforcer, as he lacks the technical skills to schedule appointments or provide payment receipts - Failed to schedule appointment, I had to text him to ask when they were coming (got a 1-word response) - Doesnt know how to use email, I had to repeatedly text him my own email, but he never figured it out so eventually I had to ask for HIS email in order for him to try to send me a receipt - Instead of emailing a receipt/bill like a normal business, he showed up at my door to demand payment, threatening to physically assault me. This was after I already offered to pay Luke when he left days prior and gave him a generous tip Again, the work that was done wasnt done properly, and I had to pay someone else to fix it. Unfortunately, the results were disappointing. The floor looked terrible and the texture was uneven throughout. While he mentioned having done this process successfully many times before, no grinding for preparation of the floor and not using primer left us mislead and was absolutely the wrong choice in our case and we're now left needing to pay someone else to completely redo it. We asked for a partial refund on labor, as we followed his guidance and the outcome was a floor that's now unusable. He did provide a $100 refund, but it didn't reflect the cost of correcting the damage or the overall experience. If you're considering a similar project, I would recommend confirming the full prep process including grinding and priming with a second professional opinion and save yourself the time and money of having the job done twice

This was quite a beating for the door and shortly after I got the opener working the door would not stay shut. I called a couple of the local companies and they couldn't come for days or even weeks. When I called Mr. Blair he promised to be there in a couple of hours. He arrived promptly at the promised time and quickly confirmed that the problem was the damaged threshold causing the force sensor to think an object was under the door. He replaced the threshold, adjusted and tightened the sensors, realigned both doors and lubed everything. All at a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend his services if you're having problems or need new doors or openers.
