The studio is stunning and the people are very welcoming. After taking several private dance lessons with my partner, learning how to waltz, salsa, swing, and rumba, I am starting to feel like a competent dancer. We also tried line dancing classes which were a blast, and they invited us to their dance parties exclusive to members of the studio. We are hooked, and I'm willing to bet that you will be too if you try dancing at Lakeside Dance. Thank you, Adam and Ashley!

The jazz funk classes were a lot of fun, and the instructor, Mickey, had great choreography. We were impressed by how large the facilities were (they have two buildings) and how clean they were. The studio is a bit hard to find because it's kind of in an alley, but it's perfectly safe. The studio itself has a nice floor but the only qualm I have is that there isn't any air conditioning (or at least it felt that way). In terms of the zouk class, it was about 2 hours long. There was a bit of stretch and warm up and they went over the basic steps and gave us 15-20 minute to practice as well. The instructors were very friendly and I was able to somewhat dance it (albeit poorly but I know the steps - just gotta work on the timing and musicality) after the workshop. The staff were very friendly as well and I plan to come here again.
