I've been coming to see Olivia and David for over 10 years and they are both very skilled and gifted acupuncturist!! They also helped my son when he was going through growing pains as a young teenager. They've also helped me with my chronic pain throughout the years , since I was in an accident. They are both very caring, and no up-to-date medical information. David also likes to make a number of herbal tees, tinctures, and solves! I'm so lucky to have found them!! I will continue to visit them and it's always great to get a good nights sleep after my acupuncture and cupping appointment!! I suggest everybody at least check them out!! plus I love their new Sunnyville Office. It's closer for me. Lol they also have an office in Brentwood California in case you're in the East Bay!!

He even showed me how to self-massage if it comes back. Truly remarkable and the best care I've had. I left feeling better than I have in months, and I'll definitely be coming back to him for any future discomforts. Highly recommend him to anyone seeking real results.

The location is small but extremely convenient and the acupuncturist is always kind and thorough. I'm lowkey convinced he's a magician because I always have instant pain relief after I leave here. My last visit was for an elbow sprain, I walked in with 8/10 pain and after my 30 minute session I could already feel the relief. By the time I got home, the pain reduced by 50% and my mobility was up. I haven't tried the Chinese herbal medicine portion of the clinic but I'm very interested and will probably look into it soon. Highly recommend dropping by if you're dealing with any type of pain.

After taking the herbs, my allergies have gotten much better as well as some food intakes. The receptionist is super nice. I thought they take walk ins, which I came around 3pm, to tell me to come back at 5:20pm for the next appointment. I guess I could of called first when I first came but the reviews said that they take walk ins. A week later, for my second appointment, I came at 12:30pm. They had a sign that they don't take walk ins. Both appointments for some reason had me waited about 20-30 mins after check in before seeing me. I did give her feedback about why, and she said because the doctor was doing acupuncture. I think in the future they should plan that out if it was going to take longer or not. Overall the experience was great. Doctor is super chill and nice. Taking the medicine is a breeze. I like that it's in powder form so traveling to work is easy to take with just a cup of warm water in my thermal.

AMAZING CARE - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!…read more I began visiting Thriving Chiropractic about 4 months into an awful battle with frozen shoulder. At that point, I'd already been doing physical therapy for several months, as well as having a steroid injection. I wanted to "throw the kitchen sink" at the shoulder to help recover as quickly as I could. Thriving Chiropractic offered me both chiropractic care with Dr. Helen and acupuncture with Dr. Christina. I took one appointment each week with both, in addition to my physical therapy visits twice a week. Dr. Helen and Dr. Christina were both excellent in helping speed my recovery! After "just 7 months" (which is exceptionally fast in the land of frozen shoulders where 1 year to 2 years is more typical) I've recovered 95-100% of my shoulder range of motion and I'm on track as I work towards patiently recovering my strength. I want to give extra praise to Dr. Helen for doing an incredible job understanding and assessing my condition each week, providing a range of care modalities to help my healing, and providing me "homework" to complement what I was doing with my PT. In addition, she's just a super friendly person who takes an interest in your life outside of your injury and I found her incredibly pleasant to talk to during treatment. Dr. Helen truly has an exceptional, holistic approach to care - she completely defies the stereotype of chiropractors simply "cracking joints." Every time you leave her care, you leave feeling great. Dr. Christina was also very professional and caring. I'd never had acupuncture treatment before and she was very gentle and careful to ask about my comfort during and after the treatment. Due to the nature of acupuncture (you spend a long time sitting with the needles in quiet solitude), my interactions with her were less so than with Dr. Helen. But I felt confident in her care and would go back if ever I had the need. Front office staff were always very friendly and welcoming, too. Thank you all for being so wonderful!

I received treatment from Dr. Yumi. She used the chiropractor adjustment tool to adjust my back. I didn't like this tool at all. There was no manual adjustments (spine cracking) which is primarily the reason I sought a chiropractor for. I did like the moving bed and how it stretches your spine. I didn't notice any significant difference because the methods were pain free and good for people who have injuries. After a few treatments I did not return because it wasn't the right fit for me. I want manual spine adjustments (spine cracking) that relieves tension immediately; although I do admit it's harsher on body recovery so I understand why this office employs alternative treatments.

I started seeing her after Natalie Miner, the only acupuncturist I've fully trusted. And I'm happy to say that I could tolerate even more needles this time, thanks to her predecessor helping to pave the way. Often I'm nervous seeing a new provider, but she was able to go through a complex laundry list of medical ailments and help me start to un-peel the layers. She looks at not just the physical energy and how to restore flow to your cells and muscles, but some of the psychological barriers that may get in the way of full healing. And without the judgement you sometimes get in the medical world. I love that she had a way of calming the body with a few well-placed needles before proceeding with the more sensitive areas. And she asks if you can tolerate it first- she doesn't just abandon you. I will definitely return and finally have new hope in helping some stubborn chronic issues. Thankful she accepts my UHC insurance, in-network- not something to take for granted. :)
