Dr. Azling and his staff are amazing. I usually go to a dentist, get x-rays, and a simple cleaning. Not here. Dr. Azling will not do anything until he runs a full comprehensive diagnostic and sees the whole picture. He knew everything about my teeth before he made a recommendation. My dental hygienist, Nathalia, not only used this crazy Swiss made machine that cleaned my teeth without any pain, she educated me so much about my dental care and all the preventative measures I need to take to not lose all my teeth and wear dentures like both my parents. The staff is amazing and the office is more technologically advanced than any other dental office. I would not go anywhere else and I highly recommend this dental office to anyone who wants the best. Even though their office is busy with a lot of patients, the staff still remain professional, kind and are very organized. They worked with my insurance and were very upfront about the plan they had. This is a great dentist office! Everyone that works here, the receptionist, office manager, dental hygienists, and Dr. Azling are warm, welcoming and very professional. They have tvs and headphones for you to listen to and watch while you are having work done. You can also get a blanket if you're cold. I had a temporary crown done and Dr. Azling called me at home to see how I was doing. I went back today and received these beautiful flowers and a thank you for being a long time patient. Let me start by saying two things: 1- I almost never write Yelp reviews and, when I do, it's because it's an establisment that had really gone above and beyond in some way. 2- In general, I have hated dentistry and the entire experience for a majority of my life. Because of a friend at work who is a patient at Dr. Azling's office, I was able to break a 5 year or so streak of avoiding the dentist. The idea of going was so nerve wracking and terrifying that it seemed impossible to overcome. Tonight, writing this review, I am recovering from a procedure done on my third visit. Everyone on staff has been exceptional and has done a phenomenal job of easing my fear and dental anxiety. Dr. Azling himself called to check on me, after closing hours, and I really appreciated it. The facilities are clean and comfortable. They have TV available in each area, so I'm able to watch some game shows while they go to town on my mouth, and they have music available too if that's what you prefer. The staff have all been professional, friendly, and accommodating. I don't feel stupid asking questions, or for advice/clarification. I feel confident that whoever is working on me at the time is doing their very best to take care of me. As far as price goes, I can't really give a fair assessment. I am on the PPO program, with pretty good insurance, but am on the first step of it due to not coming in over the years. I would guess that the prices are fair, though; I don't feel like I'm being "taken to the cleaners" , despite the fact that they're actually cleaning my mouth. Honestly, I can't recommend this facility highly enough. It feels utterly bizarre to have my opinion so extremely flipped, but now I actually look forward to seeing everyone there instead of dreading the day I have to get work done on my teeth. If you're on the fence, or looking for a new dentist, this is the place to go. Trust a stranger, if only just this once. I have been going to Jay M Azlings, DDS for 20 years and it is hands down the most excellent dentist I have ever been to. Dr. Azling and his colleagues know what they are doing. I have had plenty of procedures done and every one went smooth without any complications. They never once have forced any unnecessary procedures and explain everything they do prior to any work done. I recently chipped a tooth and although I did not think it was an emergency, they treated it like one. I would not scroll past and just call them. The front office ladies Diana and Catalina(there are others but these 2 stand out for me) greet you by your name. How cool is that. No sign in sheets, they know who you are and who your there to see. Diana organize your treatments in order of importance and is mindful of your budget and insurance.The hygienist are the best. They not only work on your teeth and gums, they educate you on how to keep them healthy. I got veneers on my front teeth a few months ago (which are spectacular) Dr Azling gave me flowers and thanked me. I was surprised. My husband had oral surgery done on 1 of his tooth. I had my first visit here yesterday and it was fantastic! The front desk staff was friendly and my appointment was timely. Everything was clean. Amie helped me out first and even though I Hate x-rays she made it as comfortable as possible and helped me out. She really got to know me also and you can tell her and the other staff really care about the patients. Alex was my hygienist and she gave me so much education as to what was going on and some simple solutions to help me. Dr Azling also made some good recommendations and, unlike other dentists, didn't pressure me into unnecessary procedures. Loved this place! Highly recommend. read more

After catching myself sucking around the same two molars for quite some time, I realized it was surely time to see the dentist. My usual experience is HORROR, so please understand why I've spent the past couple of years neglecting my oral health. The last root canal I had performed at WESTERN DENTAL (Please never ever ever ever trust them with anything more than a cleaning and xrays!), resulted in a poorly fitted crown that fell within the first few days!!! Anywho...I'll leave that story for a review on their business. Long story short, the entire process was THERAPEUTIC. I was given a pillow to ease my neck and a blanket to remain comfortable within the excellently air-conditioned space. I was also given headphones to listen to music. Whoo! No messy splattering during the drilling process. They anchor a splatter guard (I'm not sure what the technical term for it is), so no tooth particles, water, or slobber end up on/around your mouth. Dr. Azling has a gentle touch and is THE BEST at administering local anesthesia! He took a bit longer than any other dentist I've seen, but I could tell he was doing it in increments and was paying precise attention to where he was injecting. Not once did I feel pain/significant pressure! That is really important for me, since this is the FIRST time I left a dentist without feeling the urge to hurl (anxiety)...enough to make my mind up to sticking to this office FOR GOOD. I've had one root canal and two fillings done here. Today's appointment was for my fillings. My root canal was performed last year and thanks to an amazing composite build-up, I can wait to save up for the permanent crown. If you are serious about your oral health, I recommend you visit this office. The staff is amazingly courteous, and genuinely sweet, despite a tragic half hour tardiness on my behalf (oops! It'll never happen again!) Dr. Azling will help you to figure out a plan of attack and get your mouth back in shape. Next week, periodontal cleaning. I have a minor case of gingivitis. Gah! DO NOT IGNORE YOUR MOUTH IF YOUR TEETH LOOK GREAT. I have always gotten compliments about my smile, but just because it looks healthy, doesn't mean it is. Now GO! Make your appointment! What are you waiting for?! Also, if you can't afford all your treatment, ask about CareCredit! They've got you ;) P.S.- They gave me a complimentary water bottle upon leaving! I was meaning to leave my prior dentist for years. It wasn't that he was a bad dentist, it was that I just felt that there was something missing. He refused to do anything but "silver" fillings, and the office just felt like an 80s throwback. I finally took the initiative and switched to Jay M. Azling DDS & Associates. Wow...what a difference! Their radiographs (x-rays) are digital, whereas my prior dentist still used film. (Digital uses less radiation, I believe.) The team is a genuinely friendly set of people. From the first greeting to the final greeting everyone is smiling! What really clinches it for me is the level of detail they apply to their procedures. For example, they will swab a bit of Vaseline on the lips to keep them comfortable during a procedure. (Helps keep dryness under control.) The provide safety glasses during procedures. (Keeps debris from getting into the eyes...water, etc.) I could go on and one. I kick myself for not making this switch sooner! read more

The lady that took all 100 pics of my teeth was very nice. The dental hygienist that counted my gum pockets and cleaned my teeth explained everything in detail. Finally, I saw Dr. Azling and he was GREAT, he gave me the good and bad of it all. I was kind of surprised with all the work I needed, since I've been a faithful dentist goer for over 20 years (every 3 months for cleaning). Anyways, my mouth is a pretty package outward, but the X-rays showed different. I'm so happy, my friend referred me to Dr. Amazing and his team of professionals. Dr Azling and his staff of warm and personal professionals, along with state of the art procedures, products and treatments, make for the perfect practice (alliteration intended);-). And the place is immaculately clean and cozy. Headphones, TV's, the "Happy Pill" for you scaredy-cats... it's all there. I would drive across state lines for this dentist. And that's saying a lot (I hate driving in CA). I usually don't like to post my feedback, but Dr. Azling and his entire staff is exceptional, and I just have to share this. I was so nervous and apprehensive going into the office but it only took a few seconds for me to be at ease and comforted by the dental assistant! Dr. Azling was just as calm and always ready to listen to my concerns. There's just something about the whole team in that office -- they are so accommodating and comforting in a very professional way that I don't see or experience in any medical or dental office. Needless to say, I can't wait to get all my dental work done, and not nervous anymore to go through each process of the work involved (and it's gonna be a long process because I waited too long to do something about it!). I called back the next day because I forgot to ask for an itemized receipt. They only asked for my name over the phone when I asked for it, and when I got there - the paperwork is all ready for me (and they didn't even ask for my name again!). Let me put it to you this way, I would rather run a marathon than go to a dentist (mind you, that's coming from a semi-couch potato). I absolutely detest it!! Finally, years of neglect has finally caught up with me, my sister in law referred me to Dr. Azling. At the initial consultation, Dr. Azling (BTW , he's Cutie!!) was upfront with me, explain the situation with my teeth and gums. He made me realize that there are consequences of not going to the dentist regularly and sometimes can even be life-threatening. Anyway, he caught my anxiety and nervousness. I dont like needles and that hook instrument they used to check your teeth with. I cringe at the sound of it scraping my tooth!! He was patient with me. After coming here for almost 6 years now, I can now say that I can go to Dr.Azling without the anxiety. I love Kelly, my hygienist, their front office staff.
