This is a pretty nice Kroger location. I have a Kroger that is five minutes from me but this one…read morethat is 35 minutes away has a much better selection. Their produce section is pretty nice here and they have a lot of selections if you are looking for premade meals. This store is always sparkling clean and I love that! Several months ago I started on weight watchers and have sometimes struggled to find the lower calorie and lower fat items, this store definitely carries a good bit of them. I had a problem with my Kroger app and the staff was super friendly as they helped me fix the issue with my app and my Kroger card. With this resolution I was able to start using the app again to clip the Kroger coupons. I have found the store near me out of items when they are on sale and I have had to get rain checks but this store typically has enough inventory that I still find the sale items when I shop there. I will continue to go to this location when I am able to make the time for the trip.

Sunday, September 29th 8pm…read more I've just pulled up to the register in line with 2 carts worth over $600. Your cashier is flinging things faster than an Aldi cashier. We told him repeatedly to slow down because he was crushing items and never once asked for a bagger. My son and grandson (4) and I had to bag the entire purchase ( over $600 not EBT!) When he was asked a third time to slow down and assist with bagging he said he had "a time limit to adhere to". Now I've been a Kroger cashier in the past and that's never been the case. Customer service meant something then. We were so rushed that items were left behind and he did not bother to notice or mention. So I didn't even get everything that I paid over $600 for! Instead he asked the bagger that was helping customers with way less groceries to help us push the 3rd cart out to our car. I did get this tall dark haired boy's name, Aaron. But we will never return to this Kroger again. He was not the only one that saw our struggle and ignored it. My hard earned money will go to Aldi or Publix, but never again Kroger or JayC.

The customer service could use some work but its always worth a stop when I pass thru. Their mums are huge ... and price of those 1/4 the size. But I came for ham seasoning my mom needed. Steiners is an Amish (Mennonite?) deli and market owned by a local family. Some of the positives…read moreare available local meat (frozen) and eggs, locally baked pies and a variety of breads. Unfortunately you can't tell if the bread was baked yesterday or three days ago. There's a secret color code on the label and I asked the girl at the checkout what days each color meant and she said she didn't know. That's a problem when you're dealing with no-preservative items. Lots of jarred pickle and preserve products to tempt your taste buds and all from small regional producers. In summer there's a fair amount of farm produce but nowhere near what you'd find at a farmers market. They have lovely seasonal potted flowers and of course the sturdy, handmade, bank-breaking Amish outdoor furniture. They sell a lot of things like frozen vegetables, baking mixes, spices, candy (huge amounts of candy), chocolate melts, in small bags with their own label. Unfortunately this stuff seems to be bought from big wholesalers. I have seen giant Sysco and GFS trucks in the lot. They use a weird dating system on these bagged goods- just a number where 15 would be January 15 and 360 would be December 26; get it? But you have no way of knowing if that means this year. Or last year, ick. So it's a mixed bag here. Not everything is going to be local or GMO-free. Look carefully before you buy.
