A wait of a few months we were told. Will (Audi Artarmon) gave us a ray of hope and suggested we try AAA Tyres. Ben at AAA Tyres was not only able to supply a tyre; he supplied two of different rarities. He was an interesting bloke to speak with as well. He keeps his eyes open for new cars with unusual tyres then stocks them. The factory units look like they have grown like topsy. The place is huge as it services trucks and cars. It is easy to find and when you get there there is a TV and coffee machine and a nice place to sit while you wait.

They have great knowledge and my car hasn't had any issues since I started taking it here for regular servicing. If you need something done to your car, they'll tell you. If you don't then they won't make something up just to get more money out of you. They actually value customers and treat them with respect and courtesy. As an example, I picked up my car from its service just before writing this review and I expected it to need new brakes. Sujit told me my current brakes still have 60% of the pads remaining and a lot of life left in them. Other mechanics around would tell you that you need new ones. Mechanics are like dentists - if you find a good one, keep them! They're invaluable and will save you money in the long run. I recommend these guys for all your car's mechanical needs.

If you're on the Lower North Shore you can save big bucks. I'm talking a $100 difference on the tyre I needed ($220 fitted with Payless vs $270 for tyre plus labour of $50 with another well known mobile business). Alas the tyre I needed wasn't in stock but they ordered it in and was fitted within 24 hours (the jobs itself took 10 minutes). The workshop is gorgeously filthy. The guys working there straight talking 'getting on with the job' types. Even better there' not a Pirelli calendar in sight. In fact (hilariously) the tyre company has replaced the human birds with the Avian variety. This month's was a rather charming Kookaburra. I was so charmed by the bird that I didn't even mind when they kindly offered to reverse my car of the garage. My inner-Feminist just growled quietly and smiled. Prices are pretty decent. $89 each for Bob Jane All rounders, but they did slog a $55 wheel alignment charge on top, that I wasnt really made aware of. Not a huge deal, but probably should disclose that to you when quoting. I'm pretty certain they hold "Galmatic" classes at this Bob Jane T mart, which is a course for women drivers taught by female mechanics, or car experts such as Rally drivers or navigators. Totally worth a look into if you don't know much about the car you drive. You never know when you'll get a flat, over heated radiator or broken fan belt. And you can learn tips on how to maintain your car to avoid them.

Surprisingly the owner answered and reassured me they would be able to assist me. Owner and team member saw me and my husband outside and kindly offered to let us in the garage at 7:30am. Returned to garage 09/5/2025 and told error due to 4 failing spark plugs (unlikely) and charged $830. (coincidentally needing replacement the day after a full service) 07/07/2025 oil Pressure (below picture) error appeared, I could not believe oil pressure could be low as just had serviced at Bondi Junction auto repairs (receipt including oil change below). when driving back from driving kids swimming lessons, car started making strange noises (FELT UNSAFE DRIVING CAR) and engine warning light came on, luckily pulled by on side of road next to autospares store. Checked oil dipstick and it was BONE dry, no oil to be felt on dipstick. Whilst kids crying in back of car we filled 2.5L of motor oil into the engine in half a litre lots. When we returned to express concerns the manager today we spoke to offered no apology or concern for what had happened after they had serviced the car. The manager spoken to today stated "you don't have proof" in a smug way. He offered to look at the car again but after a service costing $645 + $830 (return after service), I suggested they may not be the best business to be able to service or work out what was wrong with the car and I would take it to a known mechanic. (at cost to me) This business works in the automotive industry but does not even understand the basics of automotive safety and do not bat an eyelid if an issue they likely caused may results in engine failure. Asking for proof when things go wrong after a service is despicable, the onus I would have thought would be on the business to explain all the "coincidences", if they cant do that I must admit I've been taken for a ride (and not the fun kind!) First off a basic service was $400 which seems a bit rich and they didn't explain what was done as part of that just presented me with the paperwork (0 customer service....). A reoccurring theme throughout the reviews I read were buffing headlights and degreasing the engine and surprise surprise I was hit with both to pass my blue slip. I think they must get confronted quite often as 3 of them behind the desk when on the offense as soon as I mentioned the bad reviews.... I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but really wish I hadn't. Won't be returning to this "business" and I'd suggest you avoid them too.
