I spoke to the dealers (Parramatta Mercedes-Benz, Church Street) who sold me my Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupe, in Polar White and Black Wheels, I got a good deal on my Trade-in and also was helped in many ways, like taking out Permagard and Schmick to cover, little dents, scrapes and paint work, alas in the past two months since I have had had this beautiful car, I have had a couple of stone chips to the front under spoiler and I had misjudged the height of a gutter, after going back into see them to see if I was covered by Schmick, the answer was NO, as it was a bit more than a dent and needed the whole front under spoiler replaced and the engine tray was buckled was in need of replacement; they suggested that I go to Parramatta Smash repairs, Church Street, North Parramatta, right next to the TOLLGATE PUB, as if the work was to be done at a good price and without voiding my warranty these were the blokes to see; I was introduced to Sam, who gave me an estimate of $7,500.00, but said that even though they couldn't be sure of what damage I had done underneath, they were sure they could do it well under $5,000.00 and at maximum it would take about 5-8 working days and that was last Monday, I dropped it off on the Tuesday at lunch-time and hired a car, a cheap and nasty Toyota Corolla, from Avis which is directly opposite the workshop; I got and SMS upgrade on the Tuesday evening and an email right afterwards with the exact quote, I was very happy when I read it would only cost me $4,600.00 approximately and that the time frame had been shortened to the Tuesday after the long weekend, got the last SMS upfgrade yesterday at 1.30pm, saying it would be available at 3.30pm and that the price was going to be $4,615.25, it was suitable for me then, and although I said I would be in on Tuesday at 10.00am to pick it up, I checked my calender and realized I had to take my wife in for post surgery follow up at concord Hospital on the Tuesday morning at 9.30am and it wasn't suitable; I didn't know if Avis or Parramatta Smash repairs would be open on the Saturday of the Labour Day long weekend, luckily they were and both treated me lkike royalty, but Parramatta Smash Repairs went that extra mile when my Drebit Card was declined, as I had spoken to the bank on the Tuesday and asked if it was possible to pay my Repair Bill by Debit mastercard, they said YES, but if any higher than $5,000.00 and I would have to go into a branch during the week and have the amount raised, but as I said, it wasn't so I thought all would be OK, alas when I went to pay it was declined originally as they thought I meant a transfer rather than using the Debit Mastercard to payt it all, as I didn't want to go through Insurance as excess was $2,500.00 and I would lose my 60% No Cl,aim Bonus next year, anyway Sam called the CBA and within 5 minutes everything was solved, not only is the car as good as knew, but it has been cleaned inside and out, thank you Sam and Parramatta Smash Repairs. read more
