I recently contacted this company regarding an inspection for a used car in the outer Sydney area…read more I was extremely impressed with the communication and customer service. I contacted them on a sunday afternoon and the phone was answered promptly the hours of availability for contact were quite extensive. Not only that but when I cancelled the inspection at the last minute, they were completely fine with it and did not charge me anything. Despite the fact that I cannot comment on the quality of their service, they offered quite a comprehensive check(including RTA vehicle check), for $200 which seems like a very competitive price.

This small workshop is tucked away just off Falcon St and the Pacific Hwy, and is easily accessible…read morefrom both. I've only taken my car here for my last two rego vehicle inspections, but with this experience alone I've noted the service is quick and efficient - inspections are carried out in 15-20mins while you wait. If you don't feel like waiting at the workshop there are plenty of cafes a short stroll away. Leaving your car in for a bigger job? Public transport isn't far, with major bus routes nearby. The waiting area/office has some magazines to read, a small couch and foxtel (although not working on this occasion - no signal). Workshop is clean and appears well maintained. Staff are friendly enough. Credit card facilities are available too.

As lazy people are wont to do, I drove it until it got too bad for me to ignore, then called around for a few quotes. Ultratune came in cheapest by around a hundred bucks, which wasn't half bad, so they won my bidnizz. They serviced my car the very same day I called them up, which was super convenient. He did mention that my brake pads were 80% worn and I could get these replaced for another $76 or so, and initially I said yes but then checked my last service receipt (from another shop) and I'd had my brakes inspected a couple months back, I wasn't sure I really needed these done so I declined. Picked the car up that arvo and she drives as good as new. Is still probably scared of me though. Maybe I should wash her more.

I recently had my rear bumper repaired at Parramatta Smash Repairs through an insurance claim. When…read moreI picked up the car, the central locking on my driver's door stopped working that same day. This wasn't an issue before the repair. I dealt with Sam and Murray during the process. I called and went back to PSR straight away. They inspected the door and told me the actuator had worn out due to age and the fault wasn't related to their work. I found this surprising because the central locking had always worked normally before the repair, and the problem appeared immediately after the car was returned. My family has taken several cars to PSR over the past decade and we've always been loyal customers, so the experience this time was disappointing from a service point of view. I've now had to escalate the matter to NSW Fair Trading to resolve the issue. Sharing this here so others are aware of the experience I had.

Don't you just hate it when poles come flying out of nowhere and smash up your car? Whats worse is…read morethey love it a ton more when you're reversing .. yep thanks. So I nailed the backend of my car pretty hard a couple of weeks back and given my insurance covered pretty much everything, I had no drama sending the car to this repair place. So after getting my claim no, it was off to the repairers - from the moment I dropped the car off, I never once had to call them or my insurance or Hertz or a cab. Parramatta Smash Repairs organised everything on my behalf. They organised a hire car from Hertz, they organised the cab so that I can pick up the hire car, they even organised the exact time I would need the cab so that I wasn't waiting around !!! Their frontline service is amazing. They called me the day after I dropped the car to give me a progress update and continued these calls twice a week until it was ready. As I said, I never ONCE had to call them - this to me was above and beyond anything I've ever experienced. Seriously tho, I wouldn't normally review a smash repairer, but I felt like I just HAD to review this place purely because of their excellent service Ohh and the work they carried out? FLAWLESS !!!!

They also do all of the repairs (from automatic transmissions to auto-electrical problems) at the workshop, which helps cut extra fees.
