Sadly this may have been a nicer little park in the past, but clearly it needs some TLC. Took our…read morepuppy there Nov 4th and honestly we turned around and left after only a few minutes on the trail. It's become run down and appears that it's not being really cared for as much. Some trash around and on the start of the trail. Beware there were tons of mosquitos on the trail and a stray cat. Who knows how many more. We really have no desire to go back. Those pictures of the "lake" do Not Look anything near like that in person in a negative way sadly and I would probably barely call it a lake.

Losco Regional Park is a really nice park with a really nice walking path that goes around a lake…read more It also has a children's playground, a few soccer fields, a splash type water park, public restrooms, adequate parking and much more. I can't believe that this is my first time here as I am often in the area and seek out parks to walk and get some steps towards my minimum ten thousand steps a day minimum. But now that I have discovered Losco Regional Park, I will say that I will definitely return to this wonderful park. This park was also pretty popular on this particular Thursday morning. There were plenty of people enjoying the park. Losco Regional Park is truly a great park and I definitely recommend a visit here. I will also give Losco Regional Park an overall rating of five stars. Go check Losco Regional Park out for yourself.

I absolutely love the idea of the Soccer Shots Program. I'm a prior soccer player and Club Coach (C…read moreLicense in State of Texas) and have a true passion for the sport. I signed my son up through his school/daycare. As a former competitive player and as a mother, I want the best for my child. Unfortunately, the coaches have neglected to pick up my son from his classroom and have grabbed the wrong kid. I'm paying for another kid's experience while my child is registered and my child has been missing out. I am baffled with the program and the organization with the school. When my child does attend the Soccer Shots class, he does love it and is a natural athlete. The class has given him joy and the program is a great start to build a foundation for all future athletes. I'm disappointed with the lack of communication with the program and school and grabbing the wrong child. Safety is most important and I'm not sure how a coach is able to take another kid out of the class when that child is not registered. I haven't been given a refund. I know the other child received my son's certificate and his jersey too. It's very disorganized if it is at a daycare/school. I am hoping our fall experience is different. I signed my child up for a Saturday morning session verses at daycare. I hope the coaches invest in my child this next round.

I love soccer & have supported the Armada sine they came to Jax…read more The former owner has abandoned the club, they lost their downtown home-field, fired Tony Meola as coach and sold off their better players - so if you're expecting anything like what you've come to enjoy over the past few seasons, you'll be very disappointed. The Baseball Grounds was not a perfect location for soccer, but the seating was comfortable, it was in the Stadium District, and with Intuition Aleworks & Manifest Distilling all within a block - going to a game was looking to be a great night out! Their new location is Hodges Stadium at UNF. An ok place to watch collegiate soccer - very nice even pitch. But being a little on the older side, I need a seatback if I'm going to be sitting in the stands for a couple hours! The seats are also not numbered. So even though I bought tickets with seat numbers, the seats were no where to be found and many in the crowd just sat where they wanted to. The dining options at the Town Center did lessen the pain somewhat. For some reason, whoever is running the team at this point, decided that the game needed cheerleaders (trust me - it may need something, but not cheerleaders). I'm not sure how much time was spent selecting the group, but they probably spent about the same time training them - quality was less than desirable. The team - I only recognized 2 names from the previous season. The team performed modestly at best. I'm sure the location will work out well for the many soccer families that live in proximity to UNF

Half the games there were no corner field markers. Multiple games at Rogers park the players did not have a bench to sit on. We have played 7/8 games with only one remaining. we had 2 decent refs the rest were not good at all. Ine seemed to have just rolled out of bed and I think he actually only used his voice in the game two times. the rest was barely pointing. He just assumed a bunch of 10 year olds would know exactly what to do. No direction was given. There was never consistency with play calling. one game let's have all the player use high kicks, next game we call every single one. Also, one game a ref yelled at me to "Shut my mouth" when I yelled that the goalie had the ball and the opposing player kept kicking at the ball right next to the goalies head. I didn't yell at the referee or kids. just an observation yell. All of this was sent into Florida Elite. nothing was said about field conditions. the response given about the ref was that he is a child referee. so before making the decision let me point out a few facts: - You are paying a lot of money and I have no idea where the money went. Not tothe field. - If you have a legitimate or complaint it will go nowhere. - If you have a child 17 year old or so referee they are allowed to disrespect parents with no repercussions.

Half the time there aren't even refs. No medal at the end. Not even a tournament to try and get a medal or ribbon. The uniform kit is separate and also insanely expensive. If you do regular rec, it's definitely luck of the draw if you get a coach that even shows up. The league managers love to pick and choose who they enforce practice observation rules for. Like these aren't public parks.
