I have to say Javi's Electra warehouse is amazing. I happened to drive by and pulled over. I know nothing about stereos. They consulted me and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. In addition unbeknownst to me they fixed my alarm system in my car. From the installers to the owner 5 stars and if I could give them 10 I would. I'm a business owner so time is of the essence, and they got me in and out of there in under 90 minutes. Last note, I have a friend that owns a stereo shop, who I normally take me vehicles to. For the same price Javi's gave me the top of the line products. I love the system, amazing price, and service . The bomb! read more

Great customer service, javi is a real pro your in good hands. Took me right away and left me smiling for sure.

First off they are overpriced I paid over $1,000 for an out-of-date Jensen stereo that still takes an ox cord and DVDs 2nd off they are thieves because I left a pack of masks in my glove compartment that weren't there anymore after I drove off unhappy with the product unhappy with the service and the way they handle business and carry themselves as a company read more

These guys are really amazing. Straight forward, not trying to overcharge you, letting you know the best way to go about doing something to save you money. Will definitely come back for my other needs on my car! read more

I had an excellent experience with this business, Javi's Electra Warehouse. Javi is a great guy and I could tell that he genuinely cared about giving me the best deal possible for a new stereo I was purchasing for my vehicle. Same day service and everything turned out great. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who has car stereo and security needs. Thanks Javi! read more

This is long overdue but I must say this is one of the best customer services I've ever recieved from a company. I had a total installation of a new HD stereo with rear view camera, complete package of speakers, amp and subwoofer and everything was done expertly, courteously and fast. All of the guys are awesome and friendly and if there is any problem or question, Javis the owner will get back to you right away to address it. As someone who lives in Van Nuys I will surely be back to get any other upgrades or any other work done in the future. Thank you guys!! read more

I was in an out in a matter of minutes for a new remote. I appreciate their time and attention. Definitely recommend.

Javi's place is great! True genuine car guy who loves his audio! If you want whatever it is you have to be louder, sound crisper, and really make you enjoy your music, Javi's is the place to come. Super down to earth guy whose straight forward and no BS. He installs alarms too! He installed an alarm on an old C3 Vette and we were very pleased with the cost and function of the alarm. He even went out of his way to fix some little pin things that were broken, so that the alarm could function properly and didn't charge us anymore! Thanks Javi! read more

Trying to avoid going to the dealer and pay higher prices for a car alarm. Someone recommended Javi's place and was greeted by Javi himself, not only knowledgeable about car alarms but cars in general, great sense of humor, great prices and speedy service. I highly recommend this place. read more

This shop is the best! They do quality work and have such a great price point! Cannot express how pleased I am with their work! First guy butchered my system. So, I took it to Al & Ed's on Santa Monica and la cienega and they wanted to charge me $300 just to look at it. I took it to Javi and he said I know exactly what's wrong with it! They took it apart, required it, and it sounds NIGHT AND DAY better and it was less than $100. Really happy with this place and I'll be back for window tint and a few more stereo upgrades! read more

I went to javi's because of the great reviews on yelp. Javi and Jose gave me some great customer service. They were honest and upfront about costs and options. Even when I came back with a problem they were honest and tried to find a mutually beneficial solution. Supporting small businesses like this will always give you a better experience. I got a navigation system and rear view camera installed on my prius (hybrids are tougher installs). Javi's team did a great job installing! read more

I couldn't disagree with the rest of the reviews on here.. Great customer service, very knowledgeable technicians on site, great deals and amazing prices.. I went in for a quick quote on installing a subwoofer that I had purchased at a different business and left very happy with a flip down combo and subwoofer, both professionally installed for 1/3 the price I was quoted at a different business... The atmosphere and positive attitude will have me going back as I just learned I can make that subwoofer louder!! Thanks guys!!! read more

Javis Electra Warehouse - Flip down TV!!! - Car Stereo Installation Near Me - Van Nuys, California

I can honestly say I am satisfied with the experience i had a little while ago. I like that they showed me different types of speakers and how good quality it was going to give me. When I went the first time I was excited, the price is pretty good as well, and so was the service. He wanted me to get the whole package but I had a budget and he respected that. I told him that I simply love BASS. So he gave me some really good speakers, tested it out and the sound was UNBELIEVABLE. When I came the second time 2 weeks later I told him lets add the sub woofer to make it better, he instantly knew what I meant. He gave me two options of what I was going to get. I honestly wanted both of them hahahaha but I chose what I thought was best for my car and my music. We tested it out and I was overwhelmed with joy. I have never been soo happy and Im glad that they helped me all the way. When I decide to get a bigger car ( if i get one in the future ) I am going back here!!!! Thank you for the awesome customer service, your honesty and the BEST SOUND. read more

I came in looking to get an alarm installed on my car, and wanted a few extra things. I was quoted a very competitive price and even though it was a little late in the day, told it could be done that same instance. I left that same day having met Javi; a really honest, knowledgable, genuine gearhead, who lives bmws. The installers are extremely knowledgable, and make you feel comfortable, which is important after your car almost got stolen a few days prior. The shop is filled with speakers to the roof, and his work is displayed in thebtwo cars he has parked inside. Awesome place, awesome prices, great work done. 5 stars easy. read more

If you are looking for anything to do with your vehicle, go to Javi's. They are top-notch, and very affordable. And they stand behind their work. I've taken all three vehicles there, and all three projects have been completed on-time, with no complications, and I am a very satisfied customer. (In fact, I'm headed back tomorrow to get a couple of more items replaced in my Bimmer). Javi is very good at coaching you on where to spend your money, and what can get upgraded in the future to make it easier on your pocket book. In fact, I ended up spending more on the Subwoofer than I expected, but was able to save on hardware because the headunit could actually satisfy the sound fine-tuning needs I had. This is THE place to shop whether your project is big or small. I've had a small, a medium, and a large project. read more

SOOOO happy with this place!!! Javi and Jose put in a sub and an amp for me in my Dodge Avenger (which is a real bitch to modify hahaha) and they were SO awesome! The amp/sub sounds amazing, super fast job, excellent price, and high quality work/people. I initially tried installing it myself at first but ran into several issues, so I took it in and they were really great about answering all of my questions and showing me how they did stuff. I really appreciated going in and not being ridiculed for trying to do it on my own and also for them not treating me like a clueless woman like I often get with mechanics/body shops. Really great dudes there, made my day talking to them and I'm in love with my new sub! Now I can bump around like an asshole hahaha read more

Thank you Javier and to your team. What an amazing loud system that they put into my 2018 Challenger. Had a come back 2 days later because I needed a few adjustments and they immediately took me back, no questions as, no further charges. They meant and surpassed my every need, want and expectations. This is now my 2nd or 3rd car I brought here and will always recommend Javier and his team. They even tune the radio to the type of music that you listen to (old rap, new rap, alternative, etc...). I highly reccomend people check this place out before making a final decision on their car's sound system. read more

Best audio shop in LA! 11/10 would recommend. Javi is always hooking it up. I was going to bring my car in to the audio shop across the street (which I have a been a regular customer to) but he denied me service even though I've taken 4 cars there. I called javi up and he took my car in right away and I picked up a couple hours later with complete new sound system bumping! Javi treats you like family and always hooks it up. I'll definitely be a regular customer here and I encourage everyone else to bring there car here for all audio and electric needs. Huge selection for all price ranges and great prices. TAKE YOUR CAR TO JAVI. read more

Had an amp installed a few months ago on my MINI. Drove in and they did all the work that same afternoon. Great location, great staff. Would gladly come back again. read more

I bought a used Prius and the only feature it was missing was an upgraded sound system. So, I decided to purchase components and bring it to Javis. Javi and his team are great. I was resistant to installing a sub at first, but he did the install without it and let me see what I thought. I ended up coming back for the sub and it sounds great. Subs are a good idea even if you don't like earth shaking bass! I would talk to Javi before you order components as his advice is really valuable and he has good deals with his preferred vendors. I ended up swapping out the amp I bought because it was adding some noise into my tweeters. It would have been more convenient to do that if I had bought it from him initially. Oh - and I got tint done here. It looks good. read more

I don't know what else to say. They truly deserve 5 stars. Customer service is exceptional. Javi, the owner, is very accommodating. Jose & Hector are very helpful & true craftsmen of their expertise. Jose installed the car alarm in less than 2 hours. Yelp reviews for this establishment never disappoint. Thank you guys ! read more

Been coming from Lancaster to their shop for 12 years and I'm headed back this week for another project

The best way to explain my experience is this; they thrive on challenges and stand by their product and service. You can easily see the difference between this good, private company and, let's say, Best Buy. My $1500 system, tint and alarm look, feel and sound like a $4000 stereo alone...but that price was WITH the tint...it's unreal. What put them over the top, however, was standing by their installation when a common malfunction occurred with My AC controls. GM made a terrible design and the things go south. Javier found the part and Jose installed it, all the while reassuring me that it will all work out. The business is managed professionally and with integrity. If you want the most bang for your buck, are serious about stereos and want peace of mind, this place is unbeatable. This was the 2nd vehicle they did and I'll keep coming back if they'll put up with me! read more

Drove in early on a Saturday morning and Jose and his crew went to work on my Civic Hybrid right away. They installed my double din unit, speakers and back up camera for a very fair price. Extremely clean work too. My car sounds 1000% better. Worth every penny. Feels good to support a local business that does great work. read more

I met Javi last Saturday to have him listen to my newly installed Kenwood head unit for my2015 Jeep Wrangler. Al&Ed's Pasadena did the original install. He told me to to come in on Tuesday They immediately had me pull in and before I could leave they had everything apart and found that Al&Ed's wired it wrong - fried my board. They wired it correctly and I head an immediate improvement in the sound. It wasn't distorted and I could turn the volume more than half-way up. They also put the microphone for my bluetooth up in the right corner instead of where Al&Ed's did (near the dash) - now people can hear me. I decided since I was there to upgrade to Focal Speakers and Arc Audio amp and they got it all done 5 hours later. Everything was installed cleanly - you can't see anything. And now the sound is ridiculously good. They are top notch - Javi understands business and takes care of his customers. His crew is very professional and friendly. All in all a 5 star experience. I'll definitely recommend others to him and bring back any of my other cars for audio upgrades. read more

These guys are the best! After being told by several shops that they were unable to install the radio in my Porsche, or being given ridiculous estimates of $200 or more, not only did they install the radio perfectly, it took less than an hour and total cost was $65. I would heartily recommend them to everyone. read more

This place is fantastic. Having installed my own radio and sub once, I had no desire to do it again on this car. Upon walking into the store Javi started talking with me about what I needed and wanted. He came out to my car, messed with some of the settings on my head unit and gave me his thoughts on what I needed. He and his team finished my car (Installing speakers and sub) in less than 2 HOURS! They even had someone drop me off at home while the car was being worked on, and had someone come back and pick me up when it was ready. Top notch service here, I love the new speakers in my car, and I love Javi and his team! Definite bang for my buck! Thank you Javi! You are your team are amazing! read more

Here's the deal. Yelp reviews work when everyone's honest and upfront. Candidly, while I always check out reviews, I don't always write them. That's bad on me. So, this is me remedying that. Texted with Javi (the owner) via Yelp's "ask a question". He got back to me within 10 minutes. I bought the radio and all needed accessories via Amazon, thinking I'd save some $ (backup camera, Sirius tuner module, etc.) Told him exactly what I had and asked for a quote for install only. His quote wasn't the absolute lowest, but by no means was it the highest either. And you know with quotes, many vendors will do a bait and switch. His quote was completely fair. Only $25 more than lowest quote. Brought the vehicle over and he and his guys could not have been nicer and/or more professional. And as it turns out, I would have saved $ had I bought all the stuff from him, anyway! Regardless, was missing a couple of adapters for my iPhone to work properly with this particular unit (things that go BEHIND) the radio. Totally my bad not investigating thoroughly enough. Javi told me to bring it back whenever and he would have have his guys put in at no charge. True to his word, he did just that. And remember, we're talking about time/labor that are real costs. It's not like buying a radio for $400 that the dealer gets for $200. There's no markup on labor. So essentially, it cost him $ to do this courtesy. I spent time speaking with Javi and he's a native angeleno who is fair and honest. For whatever it's worth to anyone reading this, I can clearly state that with any car install needs, he will be the ONLY person I bring my cars to in the future. read more

I do not know what the other review is talking about, but I'm Asian and I had this shop install the radio on two of my carsand am about to go back for a third. I do not have the ability to drop my car off to have them work on it, so each time I took my car in, they did the work on the spot. Also, these guys installed an alarm system on my car that worked perfectly. Oh and lastly, every time I have had a question, they were very professional about addressing them. read more

Javi and his team are superb! Brought the car in thinking we needed brand new custom headlight units costing $300.
