Everything about it was incredible. I felt comfortable from the very moments we started. From the meet and great, to the poses and the direction and encouragement given by RD were phenomenal. We started off with some tamer shots and once I got the hang of it and felt more comfortable, I wanted to show-off more of what I have. I felt like a model for a few hours - which essentially boosted my confidence and it made me truly happy. Admittedly, I was super apprehensive at first! But I'm beyond pleased with the end result... my images are BEAUTIFUL. She has never failed to capture those…read moremoments when I am relaxed enough that my real self emerges, the self that she insists is beautiful; so much so, she proves it to me. The shoots are pleasantly distracting and mildly chaotic; I got caught up in the preparation, the hair and makeup session, and forgot to be nervous for awhile. Lots of conversation and encouragement and, for some, a little wine, later, the shoot itself is on, and the work is underway for all ... Those poses can be tough! But as Carole says, and proves, the more uncomfortable holding the pose is, the more flattering the shot will be! And she's positioning too ... there's no standing behind a tripod for her ... she's climbing on tables and ducking under chairs and shelves, leaning this way and that, all for the sake of catching exactly the right angle where your natural beauty shows through the best! And she's so excited during the shoot, she's showing the in-camera views every few shots, making the entire process a truly collaborative one -- what a comfort!
