I love to go to Uppermill it is like a mini boutique town in the middle of no where. Beautifully placed and looks amazing in any season. So when visiting I would recommend any cafe or tea room. Take this one for example, it is your traditional cafe. Serving tea,coffee and not really any fancy coffees. It sticks to good old English food like a fry up and sandwiches. It is a bit outdated but to me I think it keeps with the old country theme kind of like Last of the Summer Wine. I suppose a cafe like this must feel the competition, but it is different than the other fancy ones that are popping up everywhere. I think it is hard to see even though it is on a main road, it doesn't exactly stand out or anything, but still good!

The prices where reasonable and the menu included snacks like soup of day and paninis and such. When out for a walk in the area I will surely visit here for a good old cuppa.

Nicely painted in purple/grey with tasteful kitsch and you can purchase some of the tea and crockery. I didn't stop here long, but I would definitely come here again for lunch or afternoon tea.
