We were hoping to find some kind of fun dairy-free coffee drink on the drive between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Tapped the find coffee button on the navigation and this drive-thru place popped up. Java Junkies?! I'm in. Let's check it out! The menu's posted on the wall right before the drive up window - - so many fun flavors to choose from :) We went for the chai frappe - add a shot of espresso, please. Very tasty, cool and refreshing . Service was super friendly and helpful. Now, keep in mind, it's a drive thru so you are going to have to look somewhere else for your potty break. Will definitely stop next time we are in the neighborhood.

*** I love supporting small businesses *** OVERALL I will frequent this place for a hot or iced coffee over just about any other place in Pahrump, NV from now on... especially since it's on the way back home towards Los Angeles. ENVIRONMENT I'm not even sure if there is a window on the front side of the building to walk up to, but there's definitely no indoor or outdoor seating. It's a drive-thru place next to a gas station and convenience store. SERVICE Service was friendly. I just wish they would bring out menus or have the menu posted along the way leading up to the order window because when the wait gets too long, an employee walks out to take orders. MY FAVORITE PART... Having some non-Keurig coffee for the trip back to L.A. NOT SO FAVORITE PART... Read over the menu before you head here. The staff members don't bring out menus and they walk up to take your order before you get to the main menu. THE DRINKS 16 oz. white mocha latte ($4.79)... I prefer hot coffee even when it's hot outside. They have iced options as well. But this drink was so creamy and a bit bold. Not overly sweet. What a gem. It's unassuming from the outside. A tiny drive through coffee shop so I was not expecting much. After spending a few days in Death Valley with no access to coffee shops in our vicinity, we needed our caffeine fix. I used our trusty yelp app because we finally had reception, and yelpers led me here. It didn't disappoint. A young man politely took our order even inquiring if we wanted our drinks to be piping hot or drinkable hot. That's customer service right here. Both the hubs and I opted for the Quad latte- 4 shots of espresso with hot steamed milk. The barista did a good job creating paint like milk to pour over our hand pulled shots. He tampered the freshly ground beans and pulled smooth tasting shots like a pro. There is a drive through window, but only one worker so don't expect to be whipping through. Good coffee takes time to make. A couple of seats were available outside but we were in a hurry to get to Las Vegas so we took ours to go. Prices are reasonable, good service and tasty coffee combines to put this place on my return list whenever I'm in Pahrump.

It was a little difficult to see this coffee place around the side of the gas station convenience store. Very pleasant service. Efficiently prepared two espresso beverages that were perfectly made to order. We were given a discount as first time patrons. read more

This place is a gem. Their mocha blended drinks CAN compete against Starbucks. I'm a hard core Starbucks fan , but Java Junkies version is great. Also they have amazing smoothies! My favorite is the 5 of a kind fruit smoothie. It's amazing!! Jamba who??? Lol . You can even get a good boba drink there. Staff is amazing. No frills or fake people working there. It's just real people like us. The prices are competitive especially when there sizes of drink options are big. You definitely get your money worth. There is a punch card you get for free as well. Every 10th drink you get a free 24 oz . Amazing. read more

Was up in Pahrump for a job interview and wanted to grab a cup of joe before I drove back down the mountain. I'm not super familiar with Pahrump so I yelped for a Starbucks and came across Java junkies instead due to it's higher star review. I was certainly not disappointed. I got a 32 oz Almond Joy Frappe with an extra shot of espresso. So yummy. The baristas were very friendly and made me laugh the whole time I was waiting. They also have a coffee stamp card that is good for any drink/size at the shop. This will definitely be my go to coffee shop on days I'm working in Pahrump! read more

My wife and I fell in love with Java Junkies! We got a 32oz Jumping Monkey Frappy Thingy to share and my wife got a 12oz Carmel macchiato. We were both amazed at how delicious they were and for such a great price. If that isn't enough the customer service was on point! Unfortunately we live out of state but the next time we come into town to visit we will definitely avoid Starbucks and go straight to this local coffee shop! read more

This review would have a full 5 stars because this place is delicious!!!! The only problem is the drinks are never consistent between employees. One person will make you a drink and it's absolutely delicious! The next a different barista helps you and the same drink tastes like crap. Get a white lightening java chip while you're Their! I have ordered Chais all over San Francisco, Berkeley, Los Angeles, at some place in Seattle, and at a few places in Portland. This place has, by far, the best Chai I have ever ordered. It tastes like Christmas in a cup, and it's very reasonably priced for the 16oz I got. So good. Go now. read more

OPEN SUNDAYS. Little drive thru kiosk type place. Nice, chill guy working here. Really good coffee for these parts, but I'm a spoiled girl from the PNW. They use illy beans, which has a good flavor, without tasting over roasted. WAAAAY better than Starbucks. read more

Unfortunately this review is not based on their coffee, because I never got to try it. I came here two days in a row during their posted business hours and both times no one was there. The first day was at 7:30 am and there was a sign on the window saying they were gone for a bathroom break. The next day was at 6:05 am (their posted hours say they open at 6). Not sure how a coffee place stays in business when no one is there early in the morning. I was pretty disappointed, as I have yet to find a decent cup of coffee in Pahrump and had to settle for watered down gas station crap. read more

After living in Pahrump for a whole year, I finally made the trek to Java Junkies. It's been on my list of places to try, but it's a bit out of the way for me which is why I waited so long. Turns out their little booth is temporarily closed (no reason given). They posted 840 Highway 372 as their interim location, inside the Horizon Market gas station. Fine. I went. Didn't see any java or any junkies inside. Disappointed. read more

I have ordered drinks there many times with very few issues. Today I ordered a drink all 8 can taste is water. Its like they watered down the drink and forgot to put Any thing in the drink but the milk. I will be thinking twice before ordering again for awhile. read more

It's located inside the Nugget Hotel & Casino of which I have no opinion formed. Free lot parking. Right before 6 AM on November 25, 2025, this place was jammin'! The employees were so bubbly and assistive. I fought the urge to not use my Garfield comic-like sarcasm with them. Lol. This was my special treat to my girls before I left them with their dad for Thanksgiving week. It was totally worth it. + Dubai Chocolate ($3.79 - okay so this name isn't as cool, but my youngest always wants to try Dubai chocolate. She loved it.) + Turkey Day ($3.29 - this was just a regular glazed doughnut "topped with turkey decor, and my oldest loved it. She thought it was too cute to eat it until she tried it. Lol.) + Pumpkin Cheesecake Crumble ($3.59 - I got this for my daughters' grandmother on their dad's side because she helped take care of them during our visit. She said it was delicious.) + Love My PB&J ($2.99 - I am a female Elvis at heart and love peanut butter... this creation, while very gooey and messy, was divine. Described as "glazed raised doughnut filled with housemade raspberry jelly topped with creamy peanut butter, vanilla cake crumble and a drop of jelly. The sweetness was just right -- sweet but not overly sweet which I really appreciated. The doughnuts were fresh, soft, and satisfying, making it an easy stop when you're craving a treat. If you're in the area and want a solid, tasty doughnut, Pinkbox is definitely worth checking out. Take note it's inside the casino.

This is Starbucks. What? Ok so we changed to caramel ribbon crunch Frappuccinos instead. One with soy and one with coconut milk. When we got to the window I was asked for a tip first, which is garish when no service has occurred in a drive thru, and then handed a drink with no indication of which one it was with coffee dripping from the bottom of the cup. I had to ask which one it was and have it wiped. They handed it back, and then handed me the second one we ordered but with the sip top lid and no straw. By the time I realized I couldn't drink it like this I was out of the drive thru. No worries, I'll just pop inside, thus defeating the purpose of driving thru and get my straw, except no I won't because the interior was closed for a staff meeting and even though I walked to the door and gestured for a straw, the staff looked at me and then shook their heads and looked away. In the end I went next door to Carl's Jr and the lady gave me a straw. Total waste of my time, rude unhelpful staff, inconvenient location, and mediocre overpriced coffee.

I had some high hopes...but at 11am on a Sunday...the selection is fairly dismal. They said they had a big church crowd and they still had two more hours to go. They close at 1pm in the summer. I understand that Pahrump is not huge and this is a small business so probably when product runs out it runs out. But there were maybe 19 bagels left...I took three. I really wanted to try the cheddar bagel. I am on the hunt for the perfect cheddar bagel. I used to know where to find them, but then they switched the recipe. I'm looking for a cheddar bagel that actually has cheddar inside it not just on top of it that gets burnt when you toast it. I had one with egg and Swiss on it and then I had another one with butter on it, and there was a lot of butter on it. They were not shy with the butter. These bagels were good. Drive an hour to get them good? No. Good if you live in the same area code...yes., I had a blueberry bagel with honey almond cream cheese to go, and I had it later that day and it still tasted really fresh. The honey almond cream cheese was really good. Had a nice flavor, but the blueberry bagel to me tasted just sweet, but I really wouldn't have been able to tell it was blueberry if there weren't a few blue specks in it. They seem to have a really good menu, but they just don't have the stock and like I said part of that is a me issue because I did go later in the day and this is a small business so I do understand that you don't want to waste product, but... don't say you're going to be open until a certain time and have a really slim selection. I wanted an apple fritter they don't have them but if you go on Friday or Saturday, they'll probably have them, but they don't do them on Sundays. Why have it on the menu if you're not gonna do it every day? And then there's a secret menu that's not so secret which is kind of funny to me written on the dry erase board. It should be the not so secret menu. It's not a huge place, but it has some comfortable looking tables there's games there's a little area with some tumblers made by a local artist , the people who were working were extremely friendly. In all honesty I would've given this place 3.5 stars, but I rounded up to a 4 because I don't think they deserve only a three. The bagels seem fairly priced. Right around $5 for a bagel with cream cheese. For three bagels and a drink plus tip it was about $25.00.

I normally absolutely LOVE this place, always have an amazing experience with the service and always enjoy the same drink every time. However, I decided to take my mother with me this time, along with my boyfriend who's been with me there before, when we got there not only was the lady ignoring us, and maid snarky remarks about the punch card we tried to use,which we let it go and just ordered our drinks, again i order the same thing every time and it's always amazing. However this time the drinks were out quicker than usual and tasted horrible, i'm so sad and disappointed and embarrassed after recommending that place to literally everyone i know, I payed like $8 for a 24oz of what might as well be hand sanitizer because thats the only way to describe the flavor. Im so sad but not sure if I'll be back anytime soon, or at least while whoever that lady is working there today, is present. Huge waste of money. read more

I was so happy to find Java Junkies on a road trip. The cafe had a really welcoming vibe, and it smelled amazing the second I walked in. The person at the counter was super friendly and helped me pick a drink. I ordered a simple coffee, and it was perfect--strong and smooth, just what I needed. They also had a variety of delicious pastries, so I got a muffin to go with them, and it was equally enjoyable. The whole place was clean and cozy, a great spot to take a break. The service was fast, the coffee was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. It was a five-star experience from start to finish. I'll definitely stop here again next time I'm in the area. read more

Java Junkies has the best coffee in town, hands down!! They are so friendly and funny and love to make your day a little better. They love to get to know their customers. I was known as the Watermelon or Peppermint hi for the longest time because everytime I went there I would order either a watermelon Frappy Thingy or a peppermint Frappy Thingy. But now I'm stuck on SF (sugar free) Salted Caramel Frappy Thingys. They are SOOOO good!! Whatever you make and however you'd like them, they are happy to make them for you. read more

I have only used the drive-thru service at this restaurant, but they also provide in-dining options. The wait times in the drive-thru are different depending on the time of day. The wait time is shorter during early morning hours, from 6-7 am, and longer during late mornings. However, The line moves along quite quickly even during peak hours. The staff is always friendly and polite, and the drinks are consistently delicious and flavorful. read more

Java Junkies, where amazing to place an order with for delivery. I ordered though them for a delivery to a friend wasn't able to get away from work due to lockdown rules. They were super friendly from the order through the delivery. They let me know once they arrived and once the order was delivered. Thank you so much for helping brighten my friends day.
