I had also contacted other plumbers for estimates, but Mikey, from Socal Plumbing really stood out. He was incredibly patient, answered all of my questions, and continued to be responsive when I had additional questions--even when I was getting another estimate from a reconstruction team there. He never made me feel rushed and took the time to explain everything and answer my questions. That level of patience and customer service really stood out to me. When they first came out in August, they replaced our angle stops because the old ones could not be turned off properly. The work was noticeably better than the angle-stop work for the emergency toilet leak done by the plumbers from my insurance company's emergency response. I attached a picture of the angle stops SoCal and the toilet angle stop installed so you can see the difference. Because the abatement, mitigation, and reconstruction and HOA took some time, there was a delay before we were able to have SoCal return to complete the plumbing for our new vanity and toilets upstairs and downstairs. Our upstairs toilet had been leaking, and since Delta no longer makes the same model, we decided to replace both toilets so we wouldn't have to worry about another leak downstairs. SoCal recommended Toto toilets, and after sitting on them, I completely agree--the flush is definitely powerful and are definitely the most comfortable toilets we've had! The vanity was definitely the more challenging part. We went from an open double-sink vanity to a new vanity with two sinks and two faucets, which required reconfiguring the drain, giving each sink its own P-trap, and relocating the existing hot and cold water lines to connect to the sinks. They also needed to open the drywall to access the plumbing. They completed all of this in one day and were even able to accommodate us by coming one day earlier than scheduled. That's SoCal Plumbing! My plumber was Mikey, and he was excellent. Joseph, the manager at SoCal Plumbing, was also exceptional. From communication and scheduling to accommodations and recommendations, they were there every step of the way--even when our project was delayed because of the reconstruction. They are reasonably priced, but what stands out most is their legendary customer service. They communicated well, worked with our complicated reconstruction timeline, and made sure the plumbing was done properly. I would absolutely recommend SoCal Plumbing to anyone who needs a plumber.

He was extremely honest and professional, keeping me informed every step of the way during the install and making sure that I approved things such as placement of the water filter/softener system, how I wanted the lines ran, and even went above and beyond to tie the drain into my house's sewage system so that it looked as clean as possible. Most other plumbers I called wanted to run the drain for the system across the entire garage to tie into my laundry drain, but Miles took one look and said he could do one better than that. For our pressure reducing valve, the original one was soldered on without any way to replace it except by cutting the copper piping on both ends. Before installing the new replacement valve, Miles made sure to install unions on both ends of the pipe so that in the future, if I ever needed to replace it again, I could easily do it myself without having to call a plumber. Out of all the plumbers I contacted for estimates, Jerry's plumbing was the most honest company, providing the best pricing, while offering (in my opinion) the cleanest workmanship. It took over two days to get a response, and only after I followed up twice. On the second day I hired another plumber who completed the waterline replacement for a fraction of the cost.
