Great experience during the in-home visit--they were professional, knowledgeable, and made the process of purchasing the water softener easy. Installation and overall use of the system was hassle-free, which I really appreciate. That said, there were a couple of things that didn't match what was originally discussed. I was initially told a reverse osmosis system would be included, but I was later convinced I didn't need it, and they never came out to install it. Looking back, it would have been nice to have that option honored. I was also told service would be free every 5-7 years, but when I needed service, I ended up having to pay for the visit. Overall, despite those issues, I would still recommend them for people that do not want to deal with it, because the system itself works well and the overall experience was smooth. In hindsight, I probably would have installed a system myself. It's actually much simpler than I initially thought, and there are comparable systems available online for significantly less. For example, back in 2015 I paid around $4,300, while similar systems can be found for closer to $1,200 - $1,600. If you're comfortable with basic DIY projects, it could save you a few thousand dollars. read more

Attempted to get a quote twice now, maybe it's not meant to be. I've been shopping for a water softener home installation and when I read the great reviews I felt confident asking for the free water test/quote along with a list of questions I had from reading their website. However, I never received an email or a phone call. I waited about a week and a half and nothing. So I went to their website again today but this time I mentioned I tried to get a quote last week along with if they have been trying to call me since my previous inquiry I receive a lot of spam calls so if I don't receive a voicemail I don't call back. A few moments later I get a text message from Rene saying he's with Jason's water systems and was reaching out about my inquiry. After I replied with thank you I really appreciate it, I got nothing back. I expected a response with a possible appt date to come provide a quote and a water test but nothing and it's been hours. Needless to say, I most likely won't be doing business with them after all. _______________________________________ Update: I received a phone call from the sales manager Chris who was very informative & answered all my questions. I'm very grateful and appreciate the time he took to speak with me and apologize. & Thank you Emily I checked my email and it was a "call now" automated type email, but that's the only one I received. It didn't let me reply to your comment directly. Chris is coming tomorrow to do the water test and provide a quote. Thank you again! read more

I met Matt when I moved into my new community as all new community the sales people are out and about selling it all. Matt was relatable and knowledgeable, not pushy. He introduced me to Jason's Water System and he wanted to make sure I was informed of my options and understood what I was getting. I wanted to work with a company that is reliable and has been around and Jason's Water was it! Their website is informative and easy to navigate. Scheduling was an easy and the plumber that came to install was professional, clean and explained what the install entailed and how the system worked. So far so good w/my water softener! read more

looked at several water filtration companies/systems, and this was in the top 2. When I called the first place; the guy set up a delivery date and time and when I called him he was a bit hostile with me because he didn't write it down. So I tried Jason's. They, *Answered the phone *set up the initial install in days not weeks *explained the system clearly, and briefly *Installed on time *cleaned up as they worked, including an extra check at the end *priced competitively I am enjoying excellent quality water in my whole home and zero limescale. I would recommend it for my family read more

When we looked for a quality water softener system, we wanted a company who specialized in building systems and a company who had extensive knowledge in this market. We were so impressed with Terry's presentation, financial accommodations, and Mike's great installation! read more

So far so good. I was in need of an immediate replacement of a water softener and a company truck for Jason's caught my eye. So, I gave them a call and got an immediate response, a very fast site survey, and nearly overnight installation. The tech that came out to do the install was intelligent and personable, and had the whole setup completed in less than an hour and a half. The system is working perfectly well, and the water quality is noticeable in the house. The follow-up was right when promised, and there were no surprises at all from the sales pitch, to the install, to the follow up and billing. I would recommend this company to ANYONE who needs it. read more

I am very happy with my water softer system. Once I decided to buy Jason's Water System and contacted them they were responsive. I had my new system installed quickly and the technician was great and explained everything to me. Since I've had my system now for 7 months I have had outstanding customer service and my water softener works perfect. read more

The water system works great and service is reliable. I have had this water system many years. I recommend Jason's.

We are in the market for a new water system. So we called Jason's to get a quote unfortunately the technician that was sent out quoted us the wrong price information around $1500 wrong. But here's where it gets tricky the quote was given after he had already installed the system. I feel like Jason's tried to rip us off with pricing. The technician was friendly but he was also severely uninformed. The customer shouldn't have to pay for the mistake of an employee. When I called the office the lady who took my payment said that the technician didn't know the prices ?!?! Seems odd. The system itself is only a few hours so I won't be able to give an honest review on the water softener system just yet. read more

We were contacted immediately by a sales rep. She was kind and prompt. Very knowledgeable and helpful. She did not overstep. She scheduled an appointment to get the system installed. The tech was so kind and respectful. He explained everything and made sure to meet our needs. Very personable. We were so impressed and satisfied with our experience and product! I can tell a difference in my baths, drinking water, everything water!!! It's amazing!!! The amount we spend on bottled water will be worth it and we will be saving money and conserving the planet. read more

Tony Perez is an asset to your company. He was friendly, knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. Kudos to Anthony.

Ridiculous price quote!! 5 times more expensive than the one we bought! They came and didn't do what they were supposed to do from what we called for the first place, but so quickly to SELL their products, and still charged us for what we called for that didn't get the job done. Horrible! Have warned my neighbors on Facebook neighbors group NOT to do any business with Jason's, don't want my neighbors to waste their money. read more

Great service great product. We researched water systems from all of the different suppliers, and we chose Jason's Water Systems. They are approved and have all of the correct certification's that many said they did but they did not. The water tastes great. Honestly, they are not the cheapest, but they are the best. I would highly recommend Jason's Water Systems. read more

Contacted them to come out to perform a cleaning on the water softener. They came out, didn't clean it, said it doesn't work, then said we have to buy one of theirs for $5200 when then one we have was only $995. Then they still charged the cost that we were supposed to pay for the maintenance. The unit is still under warranty, but he did not ask about that and immediately jumped to we needed to purchase another one. He also assumed that the builder purchased it online, which was not true since we purchased it through a company here in New Braunfels. He told us not to contact the company to purchase a new unit as they might charge us more and that we should contact him directly. Contacted the company and was offered a 50% refund, but he did not clean anything which was the whole point of the appointment in the first place. Regardless of if it "doesn't work", they had no problem collecting all of the money for the service yet it seemed as if there was a rush to sell a new system and leave instead of completing all tasks. So now we are out money and still have a dirty system and when we contact another company to come repair it, we will have to pay for cleaning again since this wasn't cleaned. Would not do business with again. read more

Jason's Water Systems - After the cleaning that we paid for - Water Purification Services Near Me - Spring Branch, Texas

Jan 2019 it's been a while since I updated. Looks like we are still facing part soft water issues. And it's using. Bout 100 pounds of salt every month or so. It was serviced about 4 months ago, but now we are getting gray water now. Still not happy still my problems are unresolved. Unfortunately my rating remains the same. Also I noticed the photos that I originally put showing that I had hard water have been deleted. I did purchase a system. It's a 4000 series and paid $4295.00 for the system, that was with a discount. read more

Great experience with Emily first, and then Charles, our technician who came to install the system. Both gave good information regarding the different sizes of the system we needed, and the operation of the one we ultimately purchased. We can definitely taste a difference in the drinking water. Nice that we no longer have to fill water pitchers with filters to have good drinking water. It is a financial investment, but one that we know will be advantageous for us in the long run. read more

Had our softener installed the very next day. Emily educated me on water softeners which was very helpful in determining the best system for my home. The price was reasonable and the customer service was phenomenal! 10 out 10 recommend for all your water softener needs. read more

I know it's been a long time since I wrote the original review but thought that I should let everyone know that they never showed up. I ended up hiring a plumber to install it for me. Now, my system is about 10 years old and breaking down. I did a lot of research and I'm going with a Fleck SXT500 from APlus Water. Depending on the size, they're only about $600.00 for the compete system and they're American made. APlus Water LLC has amazing reviews, how-to videos, and transparent pricing. read more

Overpriced garbage!!! Terrible customer service!! They're selling point are some irrelevant awards they won because they were the only water softener company to show up to an event. They'll also claim there systems handle high water pressure....BS...my valve broke three times over a six month period, I went with another brand at half the price, per my neighbors referral. Now I'm out about 4 grand because the old man wouldn't refund any money...if you drink the Kool aid and go with their junk.....GOOD LUCK!!!! read more

Ben, the sales manager, did a great job explaining in detail the advantages of the system were and was very good at following up with answers to all the questions I had. Aston Montgomery, one of the techs sent out t install the system, went above and beyond to make sure the job got done right and stayed to troubleshoot a few items he found that day. Overall, a great experience and we can already tell the difference in our water! read more

I have had Jason's service our water system and recently they came to do regular service and found filtration tank needed to be replaced. The service tech did not do the servicing but I was charged for it anyway (even though I contacted there office and let them know no service was performed.) While the service tech was there he offered to replace the filtration tank for special price of $4850. We declined and my subsequent research showed competitive tanks were only $1000. I will not continue to use Jason's and have requested refund of $175 service charge for work not performed. Bruce. read more

Great work, professional, great service and attitude; but most importantly great price and took the time to explain in detail what are benefits of water softener and how products compare one to each other and what to check vs. competitors read more

Eric arrived promptly and diagnosed our water softener issue quickly and explained it thoroughly. It was a simple fix. Yay! Our system had been working great all along until this and we've had it for three years. He also tested the water for our kitchen sink filter and said it wasn't necessary to change it yet. How great is that? He could have easily said it needed to be changed and charged us. I appreciate the honesty and great service as well as the timeliness. Also when I called and left a message regarding needing to schedule this appointment Vickie called me back almost immediately. Thanks for the great service from beginning to end! read more

Contacted Jason's during the Spring Home and Garden in 2022. Told them we were building a house and would not move in until July 2022. They quoted me their show special price and said they would honor that price when we moved in. They lived up to that promise and installed our system at the quoted price. The installer arrived on time and completed the installation in a professional and timely manner. Very pleased the whole process. read more

We've had our system for going on 10 years in San Antonio. Just had the annual inspection today, 12/5/2022. As in previous years, our system was working fine. My old water softener which I inherited when I bought the house did not appear to me to be working. Jasons provided me with a new upgraded model that I am very happy with. The service man was on time and very thorough in the work that he did during the installation. I would not hesitate to use them again for this type of service. read more

Be very careful when choosing this business. They do not do as they say!!! They talk and make you feel at ease, but their actions tell a completely different story. What ever you do, Do NOT buy from one of their authorized retailers. Jason's wont stand behind it. I have been fighting with Jason's ever since my system as installed in Aug of 21. read more

I have been attempting to get the machine I purchased serviced for several weeks with no luck... Soooo - I posted the above reviews months ago...after many calls, emails, attempts to schedule through website, I now see that Emily has responded asking me to schedule through website and that they are here for me.... Hhhmmm...I have to say that the nice young man that came to repair my system 3.5 months after I first called was very sweet, and was the grandson of the "Jason" (Emily's dad) that started this company. He truly seemed to care. There's a saying about second generation destruction and third generation revival...must say I've seen it in action w these folks. Emily is interested in taking your $. I hope the kid will save this business. The system is nice when it is working and I wanted to purchase another for a smaller house on our property, but now will not. read more

Excellent professional people who did a great job for us. We love the system and they are very accommodating to our needs. We searched several water softeners and companies and Jason's was head and shoulders above the rest! They educated me on how systems work and I feel it made my choice easy. Thank you to Ben who came to my home and Emily the owner who made me feel like family. read more

I did a ton of research on water softeners for our brand new home. Most don't meet the requirements needed for a 3 bath house. The ones that say they do require quite a bit of maintenance. If you weigh the cost of the units times service calls you'll see that other companies are far under par and cost more money in the long run. My salesman Ben was absolutely awesome and could tell I had already done my research. I'm super happy with the system I purchased and well worth the money. My installer Eric was amazing as well and really knew what he was talking about. Side note Culligan systems don't even compare to this quality system. Life time warranty as well! They'll definitely get my recommendation anytime. read more

My profile says Florida but live in Texas full time. My home (Texas) had a softener that was 11 years old. I had never serviced it since buying the house 6 years ago. I noticed a few problems so called the number on the softener. It was a company that had closed but Jason's took over their customers. They were very nice and came out the next day. Eric was very knowledgeable and explained what happened. So we ended up replacing the softener with a much better one that filters the water. Plus, since we will be building a new home down the road and they can move the system there. While writing this review Eric just called me to check on things. Very cool..... Thanks Eric see you when we go to move and service. read more

One of their sales guys came over to assess our house, how many bedrooms/baths we had, and then wrote down a price (that he pulled from his head) for their two products that he recommended. He didn't come in with a price sheet, he just literally wrote some numbers down on a piece of paper, and then did some "math" to calculate a discount for us, which he was super vague about. Both of the product quotes he gave us were twice the price (literally) of other competitors in the area, and I don't understand why. We thanked him for coming by, and sent him on his way. We decided to go with a different local company for a water softener and reverse osmosis system. read more

Jason's Water Systems was recommended to us by our new neighbor when moving to a new house. He sang their praises and he was not wrong! Emily was quick to respond, very personable, and the installation was quick!! The master plumber they used was very professional, and very effective in leaving everything in the yard the way he found it. Later, the guy who installed the filter under the sink was also very professional and knowledgeable. We had a competitor's water softener for over 12 years, there is no comparison. read more

I was looking for a water system and a few of my neighbors recommended Jason's. Emily came and gave us an education about the plumbing codes and the different types of water softener systems. She helped us make an informed decision, gave us a great price, and we got an amazing system installed the same week! We got the 5000 series and it softens the water and has a carbon filter to clean and purify the water as well. There's a lifetime warranty and the system flow through rate is over the recommended 23 gallons per minute for a 4 bathroom home so we haven't seen any difference in our water pressure, just great tasting softer water. I've been having problems with dry skin and today after the shower I noticed an immediate difference!! Emily just reached out to follow up on our install and I felt compelled to write a review after seeing all these crazy reviews on here that are from people not even in San Antonio that are clearly placed by competitors. Don't believe the fake reviewers, give Jason's a chance!! You won't regret it. read more

This company truly just brought over the best system in America over to my house. The installers were so professional and went way above and beyond. The pricing was very clear and you get way more for less including 100% clean drinking water along with the highest level of water softening as well...all while maintaining the same flows to your bathrooms and faucets, not to mention to only company that offered me a lifetime guarantee on this product! My wife had skin irritations from our last softener but now has completely cleared up and I used to get kidney stones all the time but thank god for Jason's all in one softening and filtration system as it keeps both of us away from the doctors and our appliances from breaking down anymore as well as saving us tons. I don't even have to make my first payment for a few months as their financing options are great, and even then it's a very affordable price compared to the all the competitors I looked at. They also did such a good job educating us on what we were buying so we understood all the money we can start saving monthly while obtaining a healthier lifestyle for my family. You will learn that Jasons systems are designed for the super hard water here in central Texas while the others may only work decent at best in other parts of the country. Thank you!!! read more
