They really do more than "put you in boat", with high level knowledge of the area we left early to get to a good fishing spot where the salmon were running. Dallin was our guide and he was amazing! With super high energy, zest for life, and a passion for fishing, he made our day so enjoyable. My family had the trip of a lifetime! The cabin and property is gorgeous, well appointed, comfortable, affordable, quiet, quaint and in the perfect location. The days on the water fishing with Dave were INCREDIBLE! He is patient, kind, funny, engaging and has an amazing amount of institutional knowledge about fishing the Kenai Peninsula area. We were originally planning to fish for two days on the Kasilof River for Silver Salmon and then one day on the Kenai River fly fishing for trout. When the conditions were not up to his standards, he pivoted and changed the plan to make sure everyone in our group had the best experience possible. I will most definitely be back to fish with Dave again and stay at Alaska Heavenly Lodge and I highly recommend him for either your fishing adventure and/or lodging while in the Kenai Peninsula area.

Chris was our guide, we had four in the boat - all fairly new to fly fishing. Chris was very good in detailing technique and showing us tricks to fish for trout. We started in the lake then down river to a bar to wade and fish for trout and sockeye. The wind was not cooperative, it rained most of the trip, and the temps were on the chilly side. I would definitely use them again. Chris found plenty of fish and checked in regularly with the shop for reports. Great fun to fish with knowledgable talent like Chris :-)
