Generally I am pretty apathetic about dermatologists offices. Bad experiences elsewhere have me a bit hesitant...but in this case I was relieved that all my time here and I haven't ever had to wait terribly long for appointments, and have never received care that blew my mind. This office however has been great! Making an appointment was convenient and I wasn't given a 6 month wait. My actual wait time each visit (3x) was less than 15 min. Dr. Neustadter is nice, and very friendly. He will talk to you about anything you are concerned about, and is just a wonderful doctor. Period. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a dermatologist. read more

12/18/2025-I called this week to make an appointment, and was told the practice is closing for good tomorrow. Unbelievable because I just got a call in the past month to set up my skin check in April next year. So, they just close with no notice? Odd and disappointing. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Neustadter. From treating my kids' acne to conducting regular skin checks to addressing random rashes to cosmetic dermatology, he provides exceptional care with fabulous results. Neustadter is incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and patient. I have never once felt rushed, and he never tires of my many questions. His willingness to spend so much time during each visit is a breath of fresh air in today's fast-paced doctor's office culture. I've been particularly impressed by his skill in the cosmetic dermatology area. During a recent visit I jokingly asked him to "strive for perfection" and he actually did! I just love my natural look! read more

Dr. Neustadler is the best in his field! Great bedside manner and works with you to find a solution. Office staff is kind and efficient. I would 100% recommend a visit. read more

Dr. Neustadter is Excellent! 5 stars! I was with my prior dermatologist for 45 years, (since I was 15 years old). I He retired over covid and I thought I'd never be happy with another dermatologist again. After visiting a couple new doctors, that were ok but nothing like my prior dermatologist, Dr. G.... That was until I walked into Dr. Neustadter's office. I could just feel the love for their patients. Dr. Neustadter and his staff are all wonderful, informative, professional, always happy, polite, and willing to help in any way. I highly recommend this office. Joann S. read more

I've been a loyal patient at this practice for over a year. I had an appointment today. 30 minutes later, I still wasn't seen. I am allotted 1 hour for my lunch and waiting to be seen took half of that time away. When I went to the front desk to tell them I couldn't wait any longer, all she said was "OK". No apology for the wait nor did she ask if I wanted to reschedule. When I called to reschedule, I was given a date almost a month away- for a simple photo follow up. Needless to say, I will be finding a new dermatologist. read more

Without doing due dilligence we made an appointment for my husband suffering from severe itching. I don't know if the young woman was a PA or a nurse but she never examined my husband. She took a photo of his skin and went to another room to consult with someone. Came back and the diagnosis was scabies. She prescribed pills and a topical cream neither of which worked. Scabies is a very contagious condition. I have applied cream many times for my husband, sleep next to him and have no dermatitis. What person doesn't examine the patient. Looks like this office excels in cosmetic treatments and little else. Scabies is the most unprofessional diagnosis since that disease is contracted by persons who practice unsafe sex. read more

Really kind and honest! Best physician and dermatologisr I have seen! High quality service, friendly, and clear understanding of skin and personalized care. read more

Very unhappy about the office management. The receptionist was unpleasant to have a conversation with and unwilling to help.

Dr. Neustadter is one of the best dermatologists, nay, doctors, that I have had the pleasure of seeing on the East Coast. I rarely write reviews for medical professionals, but this experience was so incredible I thought it useful to others looking for dermatological guidance. I needed some procedures done on several areas of interest and asked around my network for top notch recommendations and Dr. Neustadter's name was referenced three times. I fully understand why after having visited him. He took the time during my appointment to address all my concerns and make sure I was comfortable with the procedures I had. He left no rock unturned and was extremely thorough, something I appreciate in a doctor. His office is centrally located in the heart of Philadelphia's high end shopping district on Walnut Street and perfect for a midday appointment. Overall: 10/10, A+ doctor. Highly recommended, from personal experience and positive results. read more

I went to Dr. Neustadter as a suggestion from Dr. Greenbaum, his office partner, who I had gone to for moze surgery. I had had a minor skin issue since i was a child and it had become a problem after the over the counter product I had used was no longer made. I went to a few local S.J.dermatologists and my condition was only getting worse. Dr. Neustadter was able to cure this condition, first with some pills, than switched me down to a cream which has worked perfectly. I am so thankful for him curing this and making me feel normal again. I would recommend him to anyone, even those like me, who hate the city. He is worth the trip. read more

Dr. Neustadter is great. He takes his time to listen to my issues and has been a great help with my Rosacea. Top notch!

He is a caring and wonderful doctor. I had to call the office after hours this past Saturday and Sunday. With the phone system in his office, he received my messages within 5 minutes of my call and he promptly returned both calls extremely quickly. Many thanks doctor. read more

Dr. Jason is simply the best!!! I have been seeing Dr. Jason for more than a year for roseaca . I am pleasantly surprised at the results. I am no longer embarrassed by my "red nose". He is very professional, knowledgeable and personable! In addition, the entire staff is pleasant. I am ALWAYS seen at my appointment time or 5min after. I highly recommend Dr. Jason!!! read more

I saw Dr. Neustadter as a new patient today. I can start off by how lovely both his staff& office was. My wait time was relatively short. But these are not the reasons for my review. I felt Dr.Neustadter had refreshing people skills. He listened to my issue with great concern& I left the appt with an action plan we were going to do. He was welcoming, friendly and interested in my concerns. I highly recommend him for your dermatological issues. read more

When you make an appointment with the Doctor you expect to be treated by the doctor, not an assistant. In my visit, I had a few minutes with the assistant and briefly mentioned the reasons for my visit. She then returned with Dr. Neustadter and after meeting him for the first time, he diagnosed me based on the assistant's review and prescribed medicine without examining me - especially since I had a mask on and he could not see my problem areas. With little interaction and a few questions about the medication he suggested, the doctor said he would print out the information for me so I can look into it further. It was his assistant who returned with the information to which apparently concluded my time with the doctor. I had other concerns I wanted to discuss with him. Not only was I not given the chance, but there was never a thank you or goodbye from the doctor. Nothing to signal that he was done speaking with me. Not to mention, the doctors mask was not even covering his nose. I would not have felt safe or comfortable with him closely examining my skin that way! I called to express my disappointment and instead of understanding or how can we help, I was told if I did not pay my bill, I could not longer be a patient. Who would want to go back? read more

I was pretty disappointed with my first and only appointment with dr. Neustadter. He seemed to just want to get the appointment over with as soon as possible. I wanted to talk about my skin concerns but he wrote me a prescription and was out in maybe three minutes. He told me to make another appointment. read more

I have been going to Dr. Jason Neustadter for over a year now, he is the absolute best for all things skin related! I am in my mid thirties and have always struggled with skin issues from acne to moles, u name it, I've struggled! This is the first time in my life where I actually feel confident enough to pull my hair back in a ponytail! Before seeing Dr. Neustadter I would hide my broken out face behind my hair. Not only is he such an expert at what he does, he is one of the most friendliest doctors I have ever seen! I highly recommend him for anyone suffering as I did with problem skin. If it's broke, or I should say if it's broken out, he'll fix it!! I am not one who writes reviews for anything but I couldn't be happier with my results so if anyone out there is battling like I did a visit to him is your answer! read more

I love Dr. Neustadter. He is thorough and professional and has a great demeanor. I always feel like he arms me with with several options for any issue and gives me the information to decide what is best for me. I will admit that I've never been seen "on time" at his office but the quality of care is worth the wait. (Generally 10-15 minutes past appt) read more

Dr. Jason Neustadter changed my life a few weeks ago! After a lifetime of excessive sweating, I learned that there were options! He was able to give me Bootox under my arms and for the first time ever- I can wear a blouse without fear! He also convinced me to come back for a full body check, he noticed a few moles on my skin that needed to be more thoroughly examined. I was always very apprehensive about having a dermatologist appointment because of my love for the sun. I never wanted to be judged. Dr. Jason never made me feel like that for a moment. He educated me a bit on SPF moisturizers and how often to apply sunscreen. He also found a mole a bit different from the others and took a biopsy. He handled me with kid gloves and I barely realized anything occurred. As I wait for my results from the biopsy, I am not worried because I know Dr. Jason knows his business well and will handle things as professional as he has thus far. Dr. Jason Neustadter is highly recommended if you need a great doctor for your skin. He's not only great in connecting to his patients, he's smart too! How many doctors do you know that attended both Yale and Brown!?! read more

To amend the below, I received a call from Dr. Neistadter's office last week that due to "communication issues" they would not be requiring payment for my last visit. I also received a detailed note from him via Yelp apologizing and explaining the miscommunication. ------- My first appointment with Dr. Neustadter was fine, good even, and comprehensive, which is why there are 2 stars here. If I had a better office experience that didn't result in deceit, it would have been 4-5 stars. Dr. Neustadter took some photos and said he wanted me in for a customary follow-up appointment in a few months to see if there were any changes. I asked if this would be considered a new appointment where I'd have to pay my expensive co-pay. I was assured that I would not be charged because this was a follow-up appointment. When I went in for my "follow-up," I reconfirmed this with him, his nurse, and the front desk upon my departure, all of who confirmed that no payment was due. Imagine my surprise when I then get a bill in the mail. When I called to speak with someone in billing, it took me forever to get through, as they only have one woman that can answer billing questions. She had to discuss the matter with the doctor who was on vacation, and said that she would get back to me first thing when he was back - she did not; and I had to follow-up numerous times for a response. She kept having to go back to him, and I requested to speak with him, or someone that could address these issues, and so it goes on and on. Still waiting for a call back... Hoping they will do the right thing and fix this so that I can go back, but if they don't, I'll surely find another derm. read more

I had a wonderful first experience with Dr. Neustadter this week. I have been considering Botox and filler for awhile now, but have been hesitant as I have seen mixed results from friends. In knowing quite a few people who have had Botox and filler, I asked around and found Dr. Neustadter's through a friend who's results I loved. She gave the doc an exceptionally high recommendation and insisted that I shouldn't go anywhere else. After my visit with Doctor Neustadter yesterday it is clear why. Thanks to Dr. Neustader's great bedside manner and professionalism I was put to ease, and the treatment was quick and painless. He has a very gentle touch, and I hardly felt the botox and filler injections. I have friends who get their lips filled, and I have heard it can be quite painful. I had very minimal swelling and absolutely no bruising. He had a great understanding of the look I was going for and did not send me away looking obviously enhanced. The results exceeded my expectations. My biggest concern when I arrived for my appointment was that I would be pressured into getting more work done than I actually needed or wanted. This was NOT the case at all. It was clear that Dr. Neustadter sincerely wanted me to make my own decision and provided me with ALL the details that I needed to know including how significant a change I would or wouldn't see based on different treatment options. He even talked me out putting filler in my lower lip knowing it would create a more emphasized pout than I expressed wanting. I am happy with my results and I look forward to my next visit in a few months. read more

I have gone to a few cosmetic dermatologists over the years but I have found my last one!! I love Dr Neustadter! He is talented honest conservative and caring. I will never go to another dermatologist again! Dr. Jason Neustadter diagnosed someone I love with a rare type of skin lymphoma after several highly recommended local dermatologists misdiagnosed it for years. He has caught melanoma in family members as well and spent a remarkable amount of time explaining options and treatment. He always makes himself available for questions/concerns day and night and has gone way out of his way to show compassion and concern for those involved. The quality and excellence of his care are second to none! He is very knowledgeable, takes great care in his examinations and treatments and he takes great care of his patients just as if they were family members. Being a patient of his is well worth the trip to the city from the suburbs. In 2016 he was named in the PA Medical Society's State's Top 40 Physicians Under 40. read more

I don't want to be one of those Yelpers who has one bad experience somewhere and loses all objectivity, so let me start with the good. Dr. Neustadter comes across as a nice enough guy and is probably a decent doctor. I don't think he's a quack or a scam artist or anything. But I don't think I'll be going back either. He's incredibly hard to get in to see (the last time I made an appointment he was booking almost a year out) and I would describe the business practices here as "shrewd". I missed an appointment, called 30 minutes later to apologize, and was told that I'd be getting a bill for $50 in the mail regardless of whether or not I rescheduled. Uh, what? I totally, 100% understand that no-shows suck and that was my fault, but $50? For a first offense? Even if I reschedule? That's a first for me. And a last! Thanks, I'll be finding another dermatologist who understands how humans work. read more

Highly recommend Dr. Neustadter! After years of dealing with adult acne and trying just about everything I came to him as a new patient and a last ditch effort to see if there was anything we could do to clear up my acne. With all the bad press out there I was a little nervous to start Accutane but after 6 months of being closely monitored by Dr. Neustadter and taking it with little to no side effects I FINALLY have completely clear skin! Hands down the best decision I ever made and couldn't be more thankful that I came to him! Super friendly, professional, and thorough about all the options that could be right for your specific skin issues. Thanks again! read more

I've been going to Dr. Neustadter regularly for the past 8 months and the experience has been life changing. The wait time is always short, he makes you feel as though you are his only patient, and the entire staff does everything they can to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I would not recommend anyone but Dr. Neustadter! He makes sure that you are aware of the options and helps guide you through the process... he is there every step of the way! After my first visit, I left his office feeling hopeful and excited - within a couple months my progress was very noticeable - 8 months later, I still am amazed with the results! LOVE HIM! Super patient, kind, and empathetic. I don't think I've ever experienced better bedside manner. I also find him very honest and direct so that I'm very clear about options. Dr. Neustadter is the BEST dermatologist that I have ever seen- and I've seen hundreds over the years! I've been dealing with persistent acne since I was a teenager, tried every pill/potion/lotion/cream there is on the market, to no avail. Finally, at age 35, I was referred to Dr. Neustadter last fall, and with his patience, personalized examinations/diagnoses/services and solutions, my face has never looked better! He takes his time with you during your appointments, explains everything in great detail and is very responsive if I ever need to call the office with any questions. During my first visit with Dr. Neustadter, he had not yet arrived at the office and was running 30 minutes late. I was advised by his staff that I could either wait, see his physician's assistant, or reschedule. I saw his physician's assistant with the understanding that I would see him on my next visit. When I left his office that day I specifically made an appointment to see him. The day before my next appointment I received a voicemail from his office telling me that since I saw the physician's assistant during my last visit they "felt I did not need to see him" and had removed me from his schedule. They told me I would see the physician's assistant when I arrived. When I called back to complain, nobody answered the phone. I left a voicemail expressing my displeasure and let them know I would not be keeping the appointment since they took it upon themselves to take me off of his schedule. He either doesn't care and can't be bothered, or his staff is completely incompetent. I'm waiting for them to send me a bill! Horrible experience! read more

Since 2001 I have been seeing Dr Greenbaum at this office-he established the practice. I go 3-4 times a year and in all that time, the longest I've ever waited was 15 minutes. I had to see Dr Neustadter for a skin exam. I waited 25 min in the waiting room and then 20 min in an ice cold exam room wearing a paper gown. When Neustadter came in, I expressed my unhappiness about the wait. I asked whether 45 min was his norm. He became very aggressive and said it would be better if I left. I left. I'm bummed to have to write this review, because I actually really liked Dr. Neustadter, but his office and support staff - HORENDOUS. First problem was an appointment I had in February; was off for the week, so I flew home early on Wed from a FL vacation for a Th afternoon appt; the day of the appt at about 10a the office called to unceremoniously and unapologetically cancel the appt; something needed for the appt did now show up via 'over night' delivery. Very big strike #1. Next was a billing error completely on the part of his billing staff; I attempted to clear up by phone; no return message but I did get a 'pay up or else' form letter in the mail; of course after writing to the Dr. it was rectified in my favor. Very annoying strike #2. And the last straw, I had to travel on biz so had to cancel an appt; reschedule date... 6 MONTHS later. Now if he's in that much demand I'm sure he could care less he has 1 less patient, and Lord knows his staff don't care. But if by writing this I can convince some folks to go elsewhere, I've performed my public service for the week... read more
