Aesthetically I am very unhappy! I am a full cup larger than what was agreed upon before surgery. I am lopsided and my nipples are not in a line and almost in my armpits. It takes a very structured and uncomfortable bra to hide this. My scars are thick and uncomfortable as well. Dr. Rishavy said my nipples are a little off but overall thought it a good surgical result and I can redo the surgery if I want.

During the existence of David McKee MD vs Dennis Laurion, I heard Dr. McKee's lawyer tell the Minnesota Supreme Court how I could have commented without being defamatory. I'm upset. I think Doctor McKee did not treat my father well. I think he was insensitive. He didn't spend enough time in my opinion. I'm not qualified to assess Dr. David Mckee in terms of diagnosis accuracy or knowledge and experience, nor am I familiar with office environment, staff professionalism, or appointment easiness. I have "been with this doctor" once as my father's visitor and almost three years as his defendant.

My best friend was admitted to the new St Mary's Hospital in Duluth. She was in the oncology ward…read more I flew in a day after she was admitted to be with her and I have to say that every doctor and nurse were absolutely wonderful and a few that were flat out amazing!! I was able to stay by her side as there was a sofa couch all set and waiting for me. The food menu was great and she was able to select what she wanted when she wanted. Her oncology team made multiple visits as well. When it was clear she was losing the battle the staff was so kind and caring and made sure she was sedated and comfortable during her last hours as well as those with her in her room with a cart of water, coffee and snacks. While my friend was alive we both spoke of how please she was of her care teams and I promised her I would make sure to leave a nice review on her behalf. Thank you to all who helped Liz and an extra big thank you to Dr. Sawlaw and Nurse Gracie.

A friend went in for ankle replacement. Her procedure had to be postponed 6 hours - after she had already been administered pre surgery drugs -- Because the equipment needed for the surgery arrived late and needed to be cleaned and sterilized. She was "allowed" to stay one day. The day after her replacement surgery a doctor came by and said she had 3 minutes and was allowed 2 questions, she looked okay and could go home. They discharged her and they didn't have an appropriate wheelchair for the size of her cast. All this on top of a 900 million dollar "state of the art, contemporary, art gallery looking hospital". Pay more attention to your patients and their treatments. Those visiting relatives are under huge stress. They could care less about state-of-the-art collections. It isn't warm and welcoming. It's cold and contemporary. It's a waste of money. Pay your staff more than 0.5% raise and provide them adequate facilities to their job. Shame on you Essentia.
