We had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ellis at an open house in Oakland. Extremely down to earth & very polished. Knew Oakland & the East Bay like the back of his hand. At the time, we had been working with another agent that did not know the East Bay market. We decided after tirelessly looking at homes to team up with Jason. Right off the bat we had a huge boost in confidence as he was eagerly chomping at the bit to find us our dream home. Jason is always punctual, always answers the bell when you need him, & comes with a great attitude & experienced outlook. 2 offers later, landed in Walnut Creek with a house that has a pool, great school district, & countless amenities. A big factor that allowed the deal to go through was Jason's connection, Dominic Villa at Summit Funding. Dominic paired with Jason was an incredible tag team duo. Dominic at Summit Funding pushed the deal forward in 21 days during a pandemic! With all that said, can't thank the man enough, never know who you're going to meet. Truly blessed to have had the pleasure of working with Jason who is now a lifelong friend. If you're looking for an agent, look no further, you're in good hands! read more

Jason Ellis - Real Estate Agents Near Me - Oakland, California

What an amazing support we had in Jason! We are beyond lucky we found him on Zillow! Jason is down to earth and easy to talk to, which was so helpful when looking for a home. He was really good at hearing what we were looking for, and showing us only homes that would fit the needs of our family! He always greeted us with a smile, and showed us his excitement for our journey to home ownership. He quickly picked up on what we were looking for. This helped him to guide us to the right direction which led to finding OUR home! He was attentive and insightful at showings. He was always available for any questions we had. Jason has wealth of knowledge of the housing market throughout the Bay Area. With his insight and expertise we put our offer in on the eighth home we saw. Jason was with us step by step through the negotiation process. He knew this was our first offer. He helped guide and counsel us. The offer was accepted! We are so thankful we found Jason! He made the process seem easy! He was there when we needed him or had questions, and was genuinely happy for us! read more

In all honesty, my husband and I started this process incredibly skeptical of working with a Real Estate Agent. Having been Bay Area renters for over 12 years and having taken 2 Property Managers to court for deplorable living conditions, we thought we would be dealing with more of the same. That all agents would be liars, schemers and only looking out for their themselves. I am mortified to have had this thought when we first met with Jason Ellis. We SERIOUSLY gained a true and honest friend who looked out for our best interests throughout this entire process. He even played middle man when my husband and I couldn't agree, because he made sure we BOTH felt heard and understood. Jason, never sugar coated the hard stuff for a good reason. He made sure we were prepared and set up for success, even with our extensive "Wish List." When we were considering a property, Jason went out of his way to make sure we had ALL the information we needed to make an informed decision. He was also ALWAYS available. When we couldn't make an Open House, he would arrange a private showing and drive us there himself. When we had random "What if..." questions late into the evening, he always responded to our texts. Aside from his amazing bedside manner, this guy KNOWS Oakland. When we all sat down to talk about what type of house we were looking for, he literally took a map and a red pen and outlined the neighborhoods that offered what we were looking for and the areas that we should avoid. He gave us his honest and thorough analysis of every property we asked him about To Jason, we say thank you, thank you, thank you for making such a genuine impact on our lives. read more

Jason Ellis - Made it happen! - Real Estate Agents Near Me - Oakland, California

Jason Ellis is an amazing Realtor! I have purchased two homes using Jason's services in the last 5 years. He is cheerful, upbeat, very knowledgeable and professional in all his interactions with buyers, sellers, other agents, lenders, etc. He is always quick to respond to all my inquiries and always took the time to make sure I fully understood what was going on in during the home-buying process from A to Z. He was always willing and able to take me around on home tours and worked hard to help me buy my new home. He got me in contact with a lender, Dominic Villa of Summit Funding, who was able to offer and COMPLETE a close of escrow within 16-days, which, I am convinced, played a large part in me winning my bid on my new house! Jason is very knowledgeable about home construction as well so his opinion was very helpful as we did home walk-throughs to get a good sense of things that might need work or fixing. Jason Ellis is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him to anyone who enjoys working with knowledgeable and friendly professionals who really know their stuff! read more

Jason Ellis - Jason helped me find the perfect home to fit all my needs! - Real Estate Agents Near Me - Oakland, California

This review is so past-due. We had a pleasure to work with Jason in May of this year. Our experience was amazing and I feel little sorry that we did not get to work with him longer (it only took one offer for us). Jason has a throughout knowledge of local market and business overall and was a great guide through the purchase of our first home. We could not pick better. He walk us through the steps, answers all the questions we had (and there was a lot). He helped us with everything, even with pushing a loan through the finish line (which obviously wasn't his job). Besides many things we appreciate about Jason, he also never push us to a place we did not want to be. He gave us advice and opinion when asked for it, but overall was very respectful to our budget and needs. Jason is very honest and pleasure to work with! read more

If you are in the market for a home sweet home in the East Bay, I highly recommend Jason Ellis for a buyer's agent. Short and sweet: 1. He's honest. 2. He's knowledgeable. 3. He's connected. 4. He's a doer. 5. He's a nice guy. If you want to know more: 1. Honest: Jason tells it like it is. He won't sugarcoat things. He was a great communicator during our entire buying journey and he set expectations up front. 2. Knowledgeable: Jason knows the East Bay market - especially Oakland - like the back of his hand. He's an expert on neighborhoods and micro hoods, sales trends, and will work to get you into the best house in the best neighborhood based on your wants and needs. After learning more about what those are he even advised us on which areas to avoid looking in. 3. Connected: Jason has such a great reputation in the industry and likewise he also has a network of other providers whom he works with. We were already pre-approved with a lender and Jason connected us with Dominic Villa at Summit Funding. They were amazing to work with and were able to put us in a more competitive standing when it came time to make offers on properties. Since then Jason has also connected us with a plumber for our sewer lateral work who not only did a good job but came in under budget. We have since utilized this plumber for other work (after 2 other bids they were much lower and again did great work). Jason also connected us with a handyman who has always been honest and cost friendly. Last, because of his relationships and reputation, other realtors like to work with him. This is an advantage if the sellers agent would rather work with your realtor versus another one! 4. Action and Results oriented: Jason gets the job done. He does what he says he is going to do when he says he will do it. If there is any issue he will be your quarterback, your bulldog, your guardian angel. 5. Nice guy: Jason is the kind of guy who won't just be your realtor, he will be your friend. He has been to our home since we closed to say hi. He even offered to help with yard projects! Who doesn't want to work with a nice guy? Jason Ellis is gold! Call him today to find your dream home. read more

I've had the pleasure of working with Jason on a few occasions recently, and to put things quite simply: He's Awesome! Being in the mortgage business myself, I get to see a lot of different dynamics with agents and how they write offers and interact with their clients. Jason is exceptional in both. How he structures offers to stand out in our highly competitive market is incredibly unique and effective. Just because he is great at writing offers, doesn't mean he's a transnational robot like some other agents. You can tell he clearly loves his clients and their success and all his work is for them. Can't recommend this guy enough if you're looking for someone to have your back, protect your interests, and give you a fighting chance of getting the home you want in our crazy market read more

As a born again 1st time homebuyer (i hadn't owned property in 10 years) Jason was incredibly patient, attentive and kind. Although he had many clients, I felt I was the only one that mattered when speaking with him. He is also a savvy agent, and was able to share insights that made us feel great about the decisions we were making leading up to the sale of a house we LOVE. I have had experiences with other agents who were unsympathetic to the fast pace and competitive nature of the Bay Area market, not Jason. He was empathetic and responsive in the final days of closing, and has proven to be a fabulous source of contacts post-purchase. read more

After nearly a year of looking & Jason by our side the whole time, my guy & I just purchased our very first home! It's a pretty insane market in the Bay Area & from the times we were outbid, to the times we just weren't in love with a place, Jason never faltered (or got annoyed with us & trust me...we can be annoying). Jason was super patient & resourceful - he always answered all our questions (even the silly first time buyer ones & there were a lot) in a timely matter & it seemed he was just as invested as us in finding a place. We just couldn't have been happier with another agent - Jason scheduled private showings for us, walked us through all the processes & had great recommendations for other services like loans. We are so stoked with our new place & couldn't be happier & now that Jason isn't our agent - he is more like our friend & he has even checked up on us a couple times since the sale! If you are looking for a place - use Jason - he is fantastic! read more

Jason Ellis - Thanks Jason! - Real Estate Agents Near Me - Oakland, California

Jason was great to work with. We first met him in Oct 2017, for a condo in Concord. After showing us the place, he said that to avoid conflict of interest, since I did not have my own realtor, he recommended I work with someone else to represent me - the buyer. So first of all is the point of ethics and integrity. Very good. Second, Jason recommended another realtor that I should work with. Great! And finally third, most importantly, he made himself highly available at a moments notice, when I approached him directly much later and asked him a big favor - before the closing date come to the property, open it and help me see the place again. I had to do that since my realtor was traveling and unavailable. Jason promptly agreed to come from Oakland to Concord, just to let me see it again. I very much appreciated his flexibility and customer focus. read more

Jason rules! He has that sales guy feel but don't buy it for a second, this dude is legit and completely genuine. Buying our first house was really stressful for me. Especially in this Bay Area economy. I felt like I would never be able to actually call something my own. Jason was our cheerleader. Every offer we got out bid on, he kept our spirits high and didn't let us get discouraged. He held our hands through the whole process, going to countless open houses. He even recommended a rockstar of a lender who I couldn't do without. Once the offer was made on the house we finally found, he went above and beyond. If I wasn't available due to work, Jason was out there meeting with the inspectors and sewer guys never missing a beat. We couldn't have done it without him and are eternally grateful. Keep rocking Jason! read more

I started looking in the East Bay for a house a couple years ago and was lucky to find Jason. We are located in another state but our kids live in the East Bay. As it turned out it took a couple years for us to be ready to purchase a property. During that time Jason was very generous with his time in showing us any property we wanted to see, even though he knew we likely were not ready to buy. When we were in a position to buy, Jason supported us in any way possible, always being available, day or night, to take calls to discuss our situation and provide us advice. Through Jason we located exactly what we were looking for and were successful in purchasing the property in the face of numerous competing offers. We subsequently attempted to purchase a second property as a rental in Oakland. Although the property was advertised as a "compete remodel" and everything appeared to be new, Jason urged us to make our offer contingent on an inspection, negotiated an acceptance of our offer, and then found us a top inspector on short notice to examine the property. It turned out that the sellers had made cosmetic improvements to the property which covered up numerous defects in the property which were discovered through our inspection. Once this was discovered, Jason handled everything involved with cancelling the Purchase and Sale Agreement and obtaining return of our deposit. In both transactions Jason was with us every step of the way, protecting our interests, generous with his time, and willing to anything necessary to help us find and purchase a property. We could not have been happier with the service he provided to us. We now consider him a friend and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a real estate agent in the East Bay, anywhere in the Bay Area. read more

I am so thankful I got the privilege to meet and work with Jason while buying my first home. I didn't have much knowledge on the whole process beforehand and was actually just lurking around open houses hoping something will stand out. I met Jason at one of those open houses as he was the listing agent, and we clicked straight away. He is one of the nicest, humblest, personable, and honest people I have ever met. He is a pleasure to work with, and has made my first time home buying a breeze. Jason took me through the process step by step, and all it took is just one smart and calculated offer on a house I liked, and we were able to sign a contract with the buyer the next day. If you are looking for a super professional agent and want to close a house without any hassle and super fast, Jason is definitely your guy. I recommend Jason with all my heart. read more

We went to an Open House, and came away with an excellent realtor who set us up for success, even though that particular home was not for us. Jason is an excellent real estate agent and we recommend him very highly! He was always very professional, responsive, personable, and went the extra mile for us. Jason met with us even before we were officially looking on the market and took time to explain the process to us, and was very good about checking in and responding to any feedback we had about the houses he suggested. He also managed to find our dream house and help us get an offer accepted on the very first bid we made! Then through the escrow process he did a lot of the legwork for us, including making good referrals to our lender and inspectors, as well as advocating for us not to have to pay an extra tax that hadn't been previously disclosed. He even met us at the house to take a picture with the sold sign! With Jason, you will be in very good hands! read more

Jason was our agent helping us buy a home in the east bay. He is very personable and I found it a pleasure to work with him. We were first time home buyers and had a lot of questions, but Jason walked us through it. He was available and responded immediately to all my communications, day or night. When our bank's appraisal fell short of the offered price, he was able to negotiate a new price with the sellers that met our needs. I would recommend his help to anyone looking for easy guidance with the buying process. read more

As a first time home buyer looking to purchase in the very competitive Bay area, Jason helped demystify and simplify the process, something other realtors had failed to do. From the first moment he spoke with me, Jason took the time to truly understand my needs, explain what the process would like, and thoroughly discuss next steps. He worked tirelessly to find homes that would meet my needs as well as research listings that I sent him. He provided valuable advice on neighborhoods, county nuances, and other considerations I had not thought of. He was available, supportive, and thorough each step of the way, tirelessly cheering me on and supporting me whenever I felt overwhelmed. He made sure that I understood every aspect of my home purchase and kept me up to date and my mortgage broker on track. I truly could not have done it without him and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a home. read more

If you are looking for a real estate agent, look no further. We just finished a grueling search for a home in ultra-competitive Oakland. We wanted to reach for the best house we could get and not settle on a location in the process. It took almost a year and 10 offers, but we finally got there. Jason was with us every step of the way. Because my wife and I's work schedules don't allow us to go to many open houses, that meant Jason taking us on multi-hour home tours almost every weekend. He would pick me up at BART late in the evenings at times and take me on tours. Sometimes he had to show a house to my wife and then to me separately because of our schedules. He did all this and more with a smile and a positive attitude that gave us hope during the tough times. He never gave up on us or told us we were dreaming to big, and in the end we got the perfect home in our top neighborhood. Jason is the man. read more

Jason is simply the BEST. From the beginning til the end, Jason was by my side helping me through the crazy journey of first-time home buying! It was a shock to see just how competitive the market was these days and for Jason to stay calm, collected and professional during my ups and downs was truly invaluable. I felt like I had a coach, mentor, teacher, friend, interior designer, negotiator, private shrink AND a real estate agent all wrapped into one! Day or night, Jason made himself available to tour houses, answer my questions, break down lengthy documents, offer advice, recommend servicemen and contact each and every loan officer, broker, property manager and even lawyer that came our way! Over a year and 10 offers later, Jason never gave up and always went to bat for me no matter how great the battle seemed. Sure enough, after an insane amount of effort, we closed on the best property we came across!! I cannot thank Jason enough for pushing the limits on every aspect of his job and going above and beyond the call to ensure I ended up with my dream home! I recently had the opportunity to be fortunate enough to purchase my first home. I will admit going into the experience I was a little apprehensive about the whole process. This being the huge step that it is in my life, as most of you know. However I had the pleasure of working with Jason and the experience was a great one! He was extremely active in looking for homes that were in my price range and in the area I wanted to buy. His diligence and hard work paid off in a big way. We were able to find a home that we absolutely love and at a price point we couldn't beat. The home appraised for 15k over what we paid for it during escrow and we couldn't be happier in our decision to have Jason represent us. The entire process from start to finish was all done with little to no effort on our part. Every inspection that we weren't able to be there for Jason had our back. He was there for us at a drop of a dime with outstanding customer service during the entire process. I have since referred all of my friends, family and just people I know to Jason. If you are looking for a real estate professional that truly has your best interest in mind then look no further. Jason is an amazing guy and a true professional.
