After many years in Fairfield County searching for the best dermatologist, I finally found him! Dr…read more Luck is a brilliant diagnostician and a kind and caring physician. This is a solo practice where they work hard to make sure a patient doesn't wait for their scheduled appointment. So unlike the other dermatology practices in the area that feel like factories with waiting rooms overflowing with people long overdue for their appointments. The staff at Dermatology Associates is always warm, welcoming, and professional. They are extremely helpful and pleasant. What a nice feeling to walk into this office! I feel so grateful that this is my doctor. His expertise in identifying my misdiagnosed condition saved my life. And how many people can actually say that about any of their doctors?! When I switched offices, a biopsy immediately revealed invasive basal cell carcinoma. I required Mohs surgery, leaving a 5-inch scar down the middle of my cheek. Despite multiple calls and emails, Modern Dermatology sent a auto response and did not send medical records requested. This office feels more cosmetic than medical -- not where you want to go for serious dermatology issues.

Just a statement that she wasn't available. I asked why I wasn't called. The receptionist looked at the notes and provided my work # as the attempted point of contact with the comment "voicemail box full." I work for a professional office. We call our patients when last minute scheduling changes occur. I can understand that the provider may be out sick. I can't understand the support staff making insufficient attempts to reach patients. I can't understand not calling my cell phone. Mostly, I can't understand not apologizing. The staff member looked like she did not have a concern or care for the inconvenience.

Was taken almost 10 minutes late for my appointment. Then the person who worked on me took another 5 minutes or so to give overview of treatment as well as get my reasons for being there. The 'light touch' couldn't have been more literal. And it was more of an 'energy' Session in my opinion. And to top it off, she finished early. Major disappointment, Waste of money and time.
