I have a known fear of needles so I had a lot of anxiety going into this. Luckily, Lisa has a wonderful staff that helped me through it all. To begin, numbing cream was applied in a spa like room. The room had a comforting feel to it. As the numbing cream set in, my fears started to go away. After the numbing cream fully set, I was taken into another room where the injections would be done. Lisa sat me in the chair with a big smile letting me know everything would be fine! She and her assistant, Fredricka handed me two squishy dinosaurs to squeeze during the injections. Fredricka did a wonderful job distracting me using this vibrating tool! Fredricka played a huge role in helping my anxiety go away, so thankful for her too! Lisa's injection technique was painless and an enjoyable experience! Once they showed me my new lippies in the mirror I was so impressed and I fell instantly in love!! Next, we moved onto the chemical peel. Fredricka cleansed my skin and Lisa applied the peel. That was super easy and refreshing! I was done very quickly and left with a bag full of post care instructions. The final results of my face and lips have set in after a week and I am beautiful and glowing! I was told I had rosacea , which was only half of the issue. I actually have severe dandruff and overgrowth of skin mites which the common diagnosis for that is "keratosis" I got so sick and my face got so messed up I ended up calling a random dermatologist who prescribed me scalp medication , two face medications and a bar soap. To say now I am better , but, you can't diagnose a skin condition by looking at a patient 10 feet across the room! The dermatologist I went to see at Westport dermatology, got up and close with my rash and actually asked me questions and sent me for bloodwork I just think, when it comes to conditions, it's important to seek other treatment options when one doctor fails to diagnose you .

I initially went in for a hydra facial and wound up booking an appointment for a Halo treatment. I'm half Asian and I have to be EXTREMELY cautious when using products and lasers on my skin that could cause me to hyper pigment. My concerns have always been my acne scaring, uneven skin tone, enlarged pores and fine lines. After discussing my options of a path to achieve the goal that I wanted, I opted for Halo. After my treatment, I had mends on my face for a few days that fell off. And then after a week the texture of my skin felt significantly different.
