We had scheduled a secondary maternity shoot when I was pregnant with my second baby, but ended up having to cancel because he arrived 6 weeks early. She worked with us super easily on getting the money we had already paid transferred over to pay for the balance of our newborn shoot instead and it was super easy. She is absolutely fantastic to work with. She makes sure that you're getting exactly what you want and honestly by the second time working with Rachel, I just gave her full control over the photos and they still came out exactly how I wanted. With both babies, she went above and beyond to help make a custom photo that went with the theme in their nursery and both times they came out amazing. Her Santa Sessions are the absolute best. We had our first baby in 2020 so mall Santa photos were not an option and that's when Rachel opened up her Santa Sessions. We had always done the 5 minute sessions because with a baby, that worked best, but she offers 15 minutes sessions as well where kiddos can have genuine time with Santa that's great for older kids. she also offers other kinds of photoshoots such as family, mommy and me and a ton of others. I am not sure if this is a typical thing or not but I've read that her assistant has been present during other photo shoots. The pictures after edits came out beautiful and I was happy with the majority of the pictures. One picture my thigh was extremely photoshopped to seem smaller but did appreciate all the bumps on my thighs being smoothed out. I don't regret doing the photo shoot because I have beautiful pictures that captured my pregnancy journey and this is going to be my one and only child. Prior to the session, Rachel made sure to let me know when I needed a break... At first I thought I could push through but I needed multiple breaks and Rachel has snacks and water handy. My mom and the father were included in the shoots and Rachel helped with poses for each pic. I think that Rachel picked up that the hammock shoot was not all coming together as what I had in mind so she did offer me an alternative look to use which came out great. She ensured that different poses were completed during the session. Rachel even took a picture of my mom solo which she didn't have to and it was a beautiful picture.
