I purchased a Groupon photo session with Irwin Photographics on 7/18/25. As required, I emailed to set up an appointment, but it took five days before I received a response. We eventually scheduled a session about four weeks after purchase. The day before, I received both an email and text confirmation with the correct date and time for our session. However, when we arrived at the planned location, the photographer was a no call / no show / no text. I texted and called the same number that had sent the confirmation but received no response. It wasn't until six hours later that I finally received a text from the photographer saying "oops" and claiming he thought it was an afternoon session, despite me being very clear from the start that it was to be a morning session. He then offered to meet in the afternoon, but by that point, the experience was already ruined. This entire process was extremely unprofessional--from delayed communication, to lack of reliability, to the careless "oops" hours after wasting our time. I cannot recommend Irwin Photographics and would caution others before booking. read more

We booked Mr. Irwin through a Groupon deal that was a little too good to be true. We were skeptical going into the appointment, but we figured we were out much if it didn't go well. From the initial communication to the final product, we could not have been happier! Mr. Irwin suggested a perfect location for all of us (six adults, one toddler and a huge Labradoodle) and hit every great stride from there. The time of day, poses, candids, all of it was fantastic! The hour flew by, but we never felt rushed or like he was trying to finish up quickly. The finished products were beyond anything we could have hoped for. Unfortunately, it was overcast and started to rain a little, so we didn't get our sunset. Out of our control.
