"As good as it gets!", that's Yelp's 5-star comment. Well it's true, once I let that sinks in and considering Jasmine's customer service, maintenance service, amenities, location, price, and the surrounding walking-distance Asian supermarkets, restaurants, post office, and other business services. That's a mouthful, I know. But that's what makes it exciting and worthwhile for me to live at Jasmine Place, and I've been living here 3 years plus, going on 4.
I was sold on the place when taken on the apartment tour in 2013 and found that a good sturdy 2-door Frigidaire fridge came with the apartment along with the in-unit Frigidaire washer/dryer, gas range & oven, central A/C, and wood floors. During the tour, security and safety also won me over. To get in and out of the building before 9AM and after 6PM a fob is required to operate elevators and pedestrian gates. The fob is required all day to operate the arm gates and parking garage gate. I think after 9 or 10PM they also have security guys walk the building. Heck, when I Ubered home in the wee hours, after more than a few drinks, it was good to see security doing their walk through. I think I just digressed.
As I had lived in a nice apartment complex in Fountain Valley before - across Miles Square Park, have looked at the newly built apartments - such as the one at Bella Terra, and have done price check from time to time, I've found that Jasmine Place pricing simply offers me more bang for my buck in terms of apartment sizes / floor plans, apartment condition, amenities, and location. Hence why I'm still here. Oh yeah, and there are also 4 beautiful courtyards located throughout the complex, and 1 hidden in the back on Bishop street, if you know where Bishop street is.
Well the most important factor that has kept me here still is the personable management and the current maintenance manager. Management, throughout my years here, has always been helpful, friendly, cheerful, any positive adjectives you can think of. We've never had any problems. Or maybe because I'm such a nice, easy going guy / tenant. Haha. It's sad to see people move on, but such is life, is it not, and people need to move on. Anyhoo, Khanh Nguyen is the current manager here. It didn't take us long to "click" and get along just dandy. She's been helpful, and cheerfully so, whenever I approach her with questions or just to stop by for a quick hello during the week-end. While in 2013 & 2014, the former maintenance manager was not one to work with due to his lack of civility, professional skills, and customer service skills, for the past 2 years or so I'm glad Ralph, the current maintenance manager, came on-board. Ralph's always been quick and helpful with all maintenance issues for my apartment. You can find Ralph around the complex working on things, v. his predecessor, who was often found at off-premise coffee shops or simply not found at all. Ralph is also easy to talk to and work with. It's great to have and see people like Khanh and Ralph everyday. It makes living here pleasant and comfortable.
So why did I just spend a good amount of my Sunday morning typing all of these comments about Jasmine Place? It's just due time that I say a few things about my positive experience living here. read more
