I think this speaks a lot to its quality and authenticity in terms of chinese cantonese foods. They do both dim sum (think chinese style tapas/small plates served in the morning and brunch), as well as usual chinese dishes for dinner. Definitely recommend this to any person who actually appreciates real chinese food instead of westernized ones.

Butter chicken was extremely sweet despi the ordering guy said he would get it hot. and the pilua rice tasted nothing but tumeric. And the biriyani the worst with chickpeas in it not anywhere close to the "hyderbadi biriyani" this place demands you to order £26 per person and not going to take order if it doesnt fit . Not taking our appetite into consideration. The staff told us in a rude way about the restraunts rules of ordering the quantity even though we werent hungry. But we are sorry that they couldnt get what they wanted even if they blackmailed us to order more per person and that we cannot order less. If ur going to this place dont consider as an indian restaurant. I dont think its fair for give so much hype to this place when u dont serve quality food. There are much better places to visit. And they lie to us on the review that we get free food and drinks. Which is not true we paid almost £113. For low quality food. Definitely not worth it.

I had heard a lot of good reviews about this place so finally decided to try it out this Saturday…read moreevening. Being on the very busy London road, it is definitely located in one of Leicester's prime locations. The restaurant is well known for its sizzlers ie. Sizzling steak being served on a hot griddle! It has become quite a common trend here with the steak being presented on a bed of hand cut chips, vegetables and rice. I opted for the Sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce. I love the variety of steak sauces/gravies they offer compared to other steak houses! These include garlic, schezuan, mushroom and gravy sauces - something to please anyones tastebuds! The Sirloin was described in the menu as one of the most tender pieces... I like my meat quite soft however, I found this quite chewy and very difficult to cut and eat. This was quite a let down and it was not just me who had this issue, everyone in my group also felt the same! Very disappointing. They only give a handful of chips and the rice is very basic... I have had this steak concept at other similar steakhouses in the vicinity and I have to say, this was a huge let down! We also tried the sliders platter which I loved as the sizes were perfect and we got to sample their three top burgers in mini versions. Flavour wise it was good but maybe due to experience, I expected better? Service was quite slow due to the restaurant being full but I found the waitresses all super friendly and helpful. I loved the fact that they served coca cola in the classic small glass bottles! Overall, I would probably return again but only for sliders or burgers. For steak/sizzler however, I will be sticking to the others as Kobe was also quite overpriced for what they serve.

We were served pretty quickly although our visit was at lunch time and thus the restaurant wasn't very busy. The waiter's English was perhaps not the best and we had to rephrase or clarify some of what we said so he could understand us although this didn't cause a problem. Perhaps lacking a little in atmosphere but this was a lunch time as I said earlier. I'd like to go back at a busier time to see what its like. If you're in the mood for Indian/Nepalese food in Grantham then I'd highly recommend giving this place a try. We'd certainly go back.

The decor is dated, but now and again you can live with that. It is not here to be a swish modern, award winning chinese, just an honest local restaurant that serves good food at a reasonable price - and it does just that! They do an 'all-you-can-eat' for approximately £11 Sunday to Thursday and this is a couple of quid more for a Friday or Saturday night. From then on in you get to take your pick from a full menu, eating until your heart's content. The one slight annoyance is that they insist on you ordering everything at the start (starters, duck, mains etc.) BUT you can then order additional items as you go so you do not lose out at any point. Staff are good and attentive and there is a bar there so you can get some drinks too. Definitely a recommended place.
