This restaurant is clean and sleek, and no frills presentable. It is a good place to gather friends, and family, or even that special someone you are out to impress on a first date. I first tried the fried shrimp appetizer -- it is fire spicy and... DELICIOUS, albeit slightly oily. The hot & sour soup is not for the faint-hearted, as far as "spicy" goes, but if you love fiery spicy food you will enjoy this especially on a cold day. We had mussels with green pepper in black bean sauce. Again, very food. An order has around 6 pieces -- not a whole lot but for about £6 you can enjoy all that lot which is not too bad. The beef with mushrooms was... alright. No great shakes. The beef could do with a bit more tenderizing (Sprite or 7Up, they say can do the trick!) but it is nothing to complain about seriously either. At the end of the day, two people with 1 shared starter and 2 soups, 2 portions of boiled rice and 2 main course (1 seafood, 1 beef), and a pot of tea, we paid £25. No, not bad at all. read more
