Really nice place for dinner or lunch. I think it's quite new, don't remember seeing it last time I was in town. I like the subtle decor with the Buddha paintings. I like the cool lights behind the little bar counter. Service was nice, although I was corrected that you ask for the BILL when you want to pay while in the UK, you do not ask for the Check lol. On my way over to the restaurant my Uber driver corrected me that it's called railway station and not train station in the UK. And to put my luggage in the boot, not in the trunk, lol seems like everyone wanted to correct this tourist today. What was even more funny was that the driver himself sounded and was dressed like he had just arrived from the Middle East yesterday.
The chili paneer was good, but very saucy and not enough paneer pieces. The paneer to sauce ratio was actually quite odd. I thought it would be a dry chili paneer dish, which is usually the case when dining Indo-Chinese. The pieces were also rather small. It was very heavy on the cilantro. In any case, it was good, just different. The Hakka noodles were also tasty, the thick style noodles here. Reasonable prices and a convenient location. I want to come back and try more things on the menu. read more
