Very poor flower selection for a dispensary. Just stopped in for my first time to check it out. Struggled to find a bag of weed that was less than 6 months old. Store is 90% edibles and 10% old flower. Staff didn't have any recommendations as to what was fresh. Waste of time honestly. read more

This was my first visit to JARS in Ann Arbor; my usual dispos are located in River Rouge and Detroit. I am a weekly shopper, and have visited dozens of dispos, so here we go.... I stopped in on a whim with my niece from New York; this was her first Michigan dispo experience... our greeting was OUTSTANDING; the fine lady at the front desk was super friendly and happy; a great first impression. It went downhill from there; our budtender was not at all helpful or connecting with us. I asked for a nice donut and she suggested one for $50-$100. I immediately got the vibe that they are used to wealthy Ann Arbor visitors stopping in, who are unfamiliar with dispos, maybe even see it as a novelty that it's right on campus. Without droning on about more details, IYKYK. This is a total "Ann Arbor" experience; def not typical of dispos in Michigan. Go to Detroit for a truly great 420 vibe. read more

Very poor system for delivery. Why do they make you scan your ID to place an order and then show it again for delivery? And then they make you fill out a form on your computer to get your order -- a form you have already filled out to place the order. And that doesn't work. In my decade plus in the industry this is the single worst dispensary experience I have ever had. They are dishonest about their pricing, try to trick customers into buying products they do not want or need, have zero accountability towards holding themselves with any level of integrity. A true disgrace to the cannabis industry. The manager Crystal/Krystal in particular was extremely condescending towards me, treating me as if technical errors within the storefront or online store is the fault of the customer. When called with a minor solvable issue, she resorted to deflection and condescending pet names then abruptly ended the conversation and sent my call to an off site customer service rep. Truly a terrible representative of the industry. If you appreciate cannabis and craft cannabis and support local products, this place is the anti-thesis of those pursuits. Genuinely stole time and money and took zero accountability when confronted. ****I have worked in craft cannabis for a decade plus along some of Michigan's finest, as well as working in the glass art community. I went here because they had a solid deal on some higher quality extracts that I thought was a cool way to support the industry. Upon arrival, they tried to tell me the product I wanted was not available, then when confronted they told me that I would need to pay significantly above their listed price. When shown evidence of this discrepancy they refused to accept their own pricing despite it being listed on weedmaps and their website. Jessz was the BEST! She guided and lead my selection of flower with great assistance and recommendations. Made sure I, and my partner got the best deals. AND when the ATM machine was not working for my card she walked over and assisted me to the other atm with ease and nonchalance. I enjoyed shopping at Jars. The service was quick. They had everything I needed. And the value was great.

Pulled up to park, an employee was parked in the handicap spot (with no placard mind you). He informed us that the store was closed because of a power outage. I asked him if he could straighten up at least for 5 minutes (very nicely) so i could SAFELY look up another JARS location to go to. He was very rude to me & the employee in the car next to him rolled his window down to say something to me. I am hard of hearing, so i politely said "im sorry i cant hear you. Im just trying to park to safely look up a new location, as the signs say i cannot stop here or i could be towed" he then started YELLING at me. So, I responded with "you dont have to yell at me, i'm hard of hearing." He told me, very rudely, to go next door to the donut shop and park... THERE IS NO TURN AROUND & I CANNOT TURN BACK INTO THE PARKING LOT BY GOING OUT THE EXIT AS THE STREET HAS NO TURN LANE THERE. The employee in the black truck very politely told us what was going on & apologized. However, regardless if the store has no power you shouldnt block parking spaces like that when you share a parking lot with the company next door. Not only do i feel belittled, but now I will not be returning to this location. It ruined my entire mood & day. I was polite until i was being belittled & called names & told to "get over it" because they werent going to move. I also want to note that i did not see any signs that said "JARS customers only" unless they were blocking the signs. It doesnt matter if youre closed, you should NEVER belittle, yell at & call costumers names. read more

Not a great experience. Product offering was goodish (I think) but worker i was with was really non helpful and did not seem very knowledgable. When I asked to see what strains they had in stock with hash rosin they just pointed me towards a fridge and basically told me to search through the fridge and look.... While also not being able to touch anything. Could not answer any questions on strains provisioners. When i asked difference in tiers was just answered higher tiers are more expensive. They have okay pricing and selection but also who doesnt in this town. I would check out another dispensary. Would have spent a lot more if i could actually see strains in stock or worked with someone that knew the product. read more

If I could give a 0 star, I would. All my favorite budtenders have left, I'm not surprised though. Their boss was always treating them so poorly, right in front of guests. Jars has the best concentration in A2! I love the 7/10th brand. It is completely worth the nominal bump up in price. I am immuno-suppressed, and 7/10th is the only brand that never harshes my throat or sinuses. The high concentration combined with the tolerability make 7/10ths my go-to when I can't tolerate anything else. read more

I usually never leave bad reviews but unfortunately for Jars i have to. I had a pick up order so i called Jars and the person on the phone said they needed a manager for something before completing my order. I've been at many other dispensary's and usually the pick up order is the quicker route but this time it was not. The person on the phone kept checking in on me and letting me know that they were still waiting for their manager but after about 10 or 15 minutes i gave up and decided to go else where. I am very disappointed as I have a few friends in the area who have been to this Jars and had an amazing experience but for me i was not able to because of a manager never doing their job. read more
