I took my 2014 Escape in the other day for oil change and tire rotation, 2 hours and 15 minutes later I see it sitting in the ready to go line and never was contacted that it was finished. The service staff has no personality and and seemed like they didn't even want to be there. This is the second time I've had problems with them which the first time I figured it was a fluke. Had previous bad experiences here but got some extra codes that Aamco couldn't diagnose. I have extended warranty but they charged me anyway, did nothing and lied about the reason blaming it on Aamco and didn't perform my requested repairs. Turns out they didn't want to diagnose it and cleared the codes. Ford service is poor but they are something special. I bought a f250 from them and within 12 hours of owning the vehicle there was a grocery list of problems with the truck, then reached out to them and explained my concerns they set a date 2 weeks out then when I drop the truck off to them and explain the issues again they tell me they can't put me in a loaner vehicle and put my job at risk because of the incompetence of their service department on top of it all I had to wait for 2 hours for someone from this dealership to pick me up and drop me off at my house, to make matters worse they said they wouldn't be able to fix it today and it could take weeks for me to receive my truck back. worst service and dealership I have ever received. read more

Had an appointment for the 150k mile service to see if any belts, hoses, or filters needed to be changed. Instead they changed my oil and stripped the screw though it was fine when I went in, which cost me as they couldn't put the oil plug back in. They broke some interior trim as I found that on the ground inside the drivers side. They messed with the passenger mirror which was installed upside down but did not put it back. The very worst, when I left the low oil pressure light came on which had never come on before and my friend noted that they didn't plug the hose in the engine back in so my car was running really loud (he hooked that back up). My wife and I stopped by to see if they happened to have any Broncos on their lot. To our surprise, they actually had one, and it was a 2 door! The receptionist was very nice and introduced us to Justin in sales. We explained we were just looking and curious about the Bronco. He was very understanding and did not push a sale at any point during our interaction. Justin let us take the Bronco for a short test drive and further explained some of the features that this specific trim had. We got back to the dealership, walked around the vehicle for a bit and then he asked what we wanted to see next. This blew my mind. There was not one moment that I felt like I was expected to buy something. It really felt like an old friend that was showing off some vehicles. We ended up deciding to test driving the Explorer. Just like the Bronco, my wife and I were both very impressed. This time once we returned to the dealership, we asked Justin to run some numbers on the Bronco. He did so quickly and was able to provide a very competitive price. At that point we shook hands and left the dealership. After a few hours and some research, we decided to go back to the dealership and make the purchase. Took my truck there to have the fuel pump serviced Was told I needed a new alternator along with relocating the fuse for the fuel pump $1400 total When I went to pay cash they told me they didn't have $60 to make change so I would have to figure it out. Vehicle ran three days and same problem Had it towed in a second time now they can't evaluate the vehicle unless I pay $300 to have the battery replaced because it tests . They send a text claiming that you can text or call that number but even if you don't they will keep you updated. I called the day before my car was due to be ready just to find out they need another three days. After the three days they said they needed another week. I only found this out by calling. They don't bother telling you unless you ask. Good luck getting through! They will transfer you 3 different times and put you on hold for at least 20 minutes before you can speak to someone. Took my truck in a few weeks ago and was told the cluster in the dash was going bad... cost $950. After replacing the battery they said was bad and paying for the "Works" to get the oil and fluids changed as well and the tires rotated, out the door for almost $1300. Realized after a day or so, the sticker on the windshield hadn't been updated so the hubby checked to make sure the oil filter was actually new. No big deal but then noticed that after putting the brand new (not cheap) battery in, they didn't bother to clean the crud off the terminals. Best part? Terrible service department. The few times I've been there I walk inside and literally stand there for awhile before someone even acknowledges me. A few months back I brought my car In for an oil change informed the person that my fan seemed to be working extra hard and extra long. They proceeded to inform me it was just the FL summer heat. I reiterated that it was different and I have had my car for years and it's never done that. Well when I went to pick my car up they didn't say anything or charge for that so I figured maybe it was the heat after all. Fast forward 3 months and my car keeps sending me overheating messages. So I take it to Parks ford where they inform me that I could have blown my engine or caused a number of other problems because I had a bad cooling fan. Awesome right?!? So I called Jarrett fords service manager and left a message to call me ASAP and it's now been almost a week and they haven't even had the decency to call me. Great management. I also wanted to mention my husband tried to get an oil change from there recently. He called while he was in his truck (a new customer) and they told him they couldn't schedule him an appointment unless he could provide his vin number!?! Now tell my why that is necessary over the phone to book an appointment?!? Needless to say he couldn't do so, so he took his business elsewhere. Burned too many times Jarrett Ford! Went in February 21st to schedule crank position sensor relearn, the appointment was then set for March 9th, 2 weeks from the date of initial arrival. Which is fine, I understand that. Told me $135 for everything. I even asked again to make sure. I wrote down all the checks and services I did to make sure nothing else was causing flaws. Had a private shop also look into it; but they can't do anything because ford keeps those softwares on lock down. No problem, I understand that. Okay, I'll see you guys in two weeks to drop it off. I drop it off March 9th(Today), only for them to call me 3 hours later and tell me they need to "diagnosis it more" when I have already told them the fuel injectors, spark plugs and coil packs were all good. I even did a compression test before taking it there. They wanted $535 in total, ya no thank you. Keep your word! read more

I HAVE HAD 2 EXPERIENCES AND WILL NEVER GO BACK HAD TO HAVE MY HUSBANDS TRUCK TOWED THERE on a Sunday and after a week - they claimed that it was out of diesel and that they could not work on it til they had time to get fuel. . .at which time they had to correct their selves because both tanks were 3/4 full. - but fuel filter was dry - I told them as stated - my husband put a fuel filter on and it would not prime - the pressured fuel pump was bad and needed replacing and tech should of been able to tell it was brand new. . they do not know how to work on diesel engines. . and after a week of no progress - had to have towed to Bartow Ford - who was able to diagnose same day and with a smile. POOR SERVICE - tech and mgr do not communicate and give false info and do not have staff knowledgeable and over worked Also took my Lincoln there and had over thousand dollars work to complete tune up etc - was running bad. . . after picking it up a few weeks - started doing it again. . . took to Jim Brown Citrus who diagnosed as needing the tuneup - because they said that Ford evidently did not do the work they charged me that the wires and plugs had not been replaced. After they fixed it promptly - I have not had any problems Jarrett Ford - service is the worse - I will never go their again read more

Tire Price Guarantee SCAM ALERT !!!!!Jarrett Ford in plant city Quick Lane or better yet Quack Lane advertises a Tire Price Guarantee. Its a scam, it advertises that if you can find a better price on a tire that they guarantee to match it! Scam..Rippoff to the consumers. I had 4 Hankook tires installed at $169.00 per tire. I found a ad at Walmart for $150.00 per tire. I brought this ad in but was told they ( the scam artists)do not accept Walmart ads. It does not say that ANYWHERE in the so called price guarantee!!! They say its in the Ford website that only the employees can see but a regular guy like me can not see...then on top of all this quick lane offers a $70 rebate on this tire from Ford. I sent it in as instructed by Jarrett, but guess what that's a scam too. I received a email that ford could not verify my purchase ...WHAT!! now they want me to scan my receipt, take a picture of the tires and send it to them. They do this because they figure the average Joe will not have the time to do this or don't know how to do this. Go to Walmart or Tires Plus for your tires.. Hello, I just wanted to share my experience with Jarrett Ford of Dade city... I purchased a use truck from them to use for work. A 2012 Ram truck it's in excellent shape except for two issues. Heat only worked on the passenger side and the was a vibration when braking hard. The dealership said it would take care of the issues. I purchased the vehicle and after that it went downhill, they didn't do what they said they were going to do. After waiting several hours, they said the vehicle was all fixed, asked them about the brakes and I was told they didn't see anything wrong. While driving home I noticed a multiple cracks in the radio bezel and the mechanic never told me or the service writer and the repairs where not done properly, the vibration with the brakes wasn't resolved and the heat was still not corrected. Brought it to my mechanic he took a flashlight and said here your problem with the brakes (Less than 60 sec he figured it out). I called and rescheduled to bring the truck in and explained the situation about the dash etc. I won't mention any names, but they basically said they should have had someone else look over his work. Dropped the truck off at 10 was there till 6 pm and I waited very patiently without causing any issues as the truck basically sat in the same person area (Was told they would put a different mechanic on it when I brought the truck back, they didn't) with the hood open and nothing being done. I did ask to speak with the manager explained the situation he went over and got the process moving. At the end of the day when the work was completed the issue with the heat still wasn't resolved and it was brought to the manager's attention. It was closing time, so he told me to contact them later that week. When I called, they told me they had turned it over to Mark. As soon as Mark answered he was a total wise ass and very unprofessional to say the least. Basically, told me it was my problem, and he would buy the truck back at blue book value and they did me a favor doing what they already had done. I asked to be transferred to Mr. Jarrett and Mark basically refused. I called back and left a voice mail. When Mr. Jarrett called me back; he was professional but refused to fix the issue even after I explained what had. saying it was a used truck. I bought the car thinking it was great- sales department was great. However after a week of having the car I noticed stuff going wrong with it. They are awful about checking the cars before they sell them or wanting to fix them once you've bought the car. They told me I needed to wait for my warranty (thank God I bought that) to go into affect before they fixed it so they only had to pay the $100 detectable and not the full price for the part. I live an hour and a half away so with all the trips for them to not fix it I've driven 12 hours and spent all that money on gas for absolutely nothing. I am specifically reviewing their service department. I have been a loyal customer of Jarrett Ford for over a decade. I have purchased two trucks from them, I have used their service department for all of the service on both of my trucks for over a decade. I purchased a pre paid maintenance plan when I purchased my latest truck. They were unable to get me in for an oil change prior to a camping trip and advised I needed to schedule a week ahead of time. I have never had this problem with them. Given the nature of my work and travel I am unable to book maintenance that far ahead of time. They wouldn't work with me wouldn't do anything just basically told me to piss off and go somewhere else. This was very unsatisfactory. They've been an excellent shop in the past and have always been able to work with me before even if it was for last minute or emergency maintenance. I don't understand why they couldn't do anything for me and I'm incredibly unpleased. read more

went to look at a 1999 ford F350 they had listed, finally agreed on the price. we were supposed to go pick up the truck today got a phone call from them letting us know that they sold the truck from under us!!!! this is bad business they pressured us to come up with a price we both would agree on and then they sell it to somebody else buyer beware this dealership sucks!!!! the truck was all rusted under neath when asked about that they didn't know anything about it. I guess they don't check the trucks or cars that they are trying to sell. i hope who ever thinks about buying this truck better look under neath it.
