First and foremost, Nate is extremely professional and punctual. From our initial contact, to receiving our final pictures, Nate was very candid and clear in his communication. This is something that I truly appreciate because photographers can get very busy in their line of work, but I did not once feel as if I was put on the back burner and always felt like a priority. Whenever I reached out to Nate, he was always very quick to respond. He was also quick in getting our pictures back to us! Nate is also really fun to be around. When taking engagement pictures, there are many location changes and outfit changes that require a lot of public bathrooms and Uber rides/drives! It didn't feel awkward or uncomfortable to pose. He made us feel very relaxed and natural. Aside from his professionalism and personality, the pictures we received are absolutely timeless. I cannot count how many times people have said to us "those look like they were from a magazine!" I worried so much about our pictures turning out awkward or forced as if we were just any other engaged couple taking pictures, but Nate really captured our personalities and made the pictures unique to us. Her pictures were beautiful: elegant but also very unique and heartfelt. In addition, all our friends loved her so everyone was happy to have their pictures taken. She blends so easily into a crowd that she seems like a friend or a family member and instantly puts everyone at ease. We got some amazing shots: dancing, portraits, families and just fabulous strutting around. It was a year ago and people still ask to see my pictures. And all of this planned with zero stress over a very nice cup of tea. Just show up and Kim will handle the rest. I can't recommend her highly enough.

I have never had a professional photo shoot done - short of the dorky Sears portraits your parents…read moremade you do as a kid. (I eloped when I got married - so no professional photog there either). My company recently hired Kim to do a series of headshots for each employee and a group shot. We're a playful agency - and the majority of us identify as nerds so posing as "models" is not our natural state of being. However, Kim was great at coaxing out our inner Zoolanders. She really took the time to get to know us and get a feel for our company culture. We spent the day prior to the shoot walking around the area for a couple of hours and determining ideal locations. The following morning she was ready to rock. We did a series of indoor and outdoor shots. Kim has a very comforting and relaxing nature about her. She was able to instantly put me - and my other colleagues - at ease with her warm, positive and genuine personality. As she took photos, she'd let you see the results after a few frames so you could specify what you liked or didn't like about a particular image. If someone didn't want to seem rude or vain and expressed satisfaction, even if they weren't satisfied, Kim would pick up on it immediately. She'd gently offer to take more pics until those that were more self-critical felt comfortable with the product. She spent the entire day photographing our team and not once did she seem tired or annoyed. She seemed sincerely thrilled to be a part of the moment with us. We also got proofs back in rapid time! For all my initial nervousness and hesitation, this was a really fun and positive experience to be a part of. I don't think that would have been possible without Kim behind the lens though. If I ever need professional shots in the future - I know who I'll be going back to :)
