Susannah met us in the morning to accommodate his nap schedule, which we appreciate deeply. While he was a bit overwhelmed by the sights and sounds of the park in the morning we got some fun and serious photos. Susannah brought some toys that make noise to get the baby's attention and the novelty of them caught our son's attention better than toys from home. The bubble machine was also a nice touch. Overall she offers high quality service (photoshoot and editing) at a fair cost with a ton of flexibility. We will use her again if we choose to have another photoshoot. We don't take a lot of photos and are pretty camera-shy, but Nicole was very helpful and gently guided us on what to do and made us feel free to try out different things. She was very gracious during our session and even went a little over time because we had to feed the baby in the middle of it. Photos came back within two weeks and we're very happy with them. He just knows what images, scenes, and emotions to capture in a photo. I met Stephen in San Diego......years and years ago. Maybe mid 2000's when he captured awesome moments of me and my female cousins for a reunion. And I kid you not he has done weddings, celebrations, and various photo shoots, almost every year, for our family and extended family, ever since. I was so honored that he was my photographer for my Lao Wedding in 2012, here in Sacramento, CA on last minute notice. I literally cried once I got word he accepted to do my wedding because I knew he would provide only the best work. When I first looked at our wedding photos, there were so many moments that I had no clue he was capturing and that's what's so great about his work. YOU DONT KNOW HE IS EVEN THERE!! Stephen was so friendly and relaxed during the shoot, and even though it is a very busy season, he was able to get us our gallery from Oct. 28 just under three weeks later. The gallery we received is absolutely stunning. The foliage and the lighting were perfect on the day of the shoot, but Stephen was really able to capture both, and colors in our photos are unbelievably beautiful & exactly what we were hoping for. I have been engaged for about 7 months now and have gotten to enjoy many aspects of being engaged…read more(picking out a wedding dress, the venue, etc.), but my experience with Nate taking our engagement pictures has been hands down my favorite part. First and foremost, Nate is extremely professional and punctual. From our initial contact, to receiving our final pictures, Nate was very candid and clear in his communication. This is something that I truly appreciate because photographers can get very busy in their line of work, but I did not once feel as if I was put on the back burner and always felt like a priority. Whenever I reached out to Nate, he was always very quick to respond. He was also quick in getting our pictures back to us! Nate is also really fun to be around. When taking engagement pictures, there are many location changes and outfit changes that require a lot of public bathrooms and Uber rides/drives! My fiancé and I had the best time running around with Nate--it felt like we were just hanging out with a friend. This was also the case when taking pictures. It didn't feel awkward or uncomfortable to pose. He made us feel very relaxed and natural. Aside from his professionalism and personality, the pictures we received are absolutely timeless. I cannot count how many times people have said to us "those look like they were from a magazine!" I worried so much about our pictures turning out awkward or forced as if we were just any other engaged couple taking pictures, but Nate really captured our personalities and made the pictures unique to us. When I first contacted Nate, I had a particular vision in mind. I live in Florida but my fiancé and I planned to take our pictures in Boston where we met. I told Nate the places I wanted to shoot and what I was thinking--without hesitation he took some shots just as I imagined and I love them. However, the shots he got that were the best and are my absolute favorite were the ones where he asked "do you want to try this?" and we agreed. They were pictures that I would have never thought to take and they turned out amazing. This is why I think Nate is the best when it comes to capturing whatever special moment in your life that needs capturing--he can execute exactly what you are thinking and hoping for, but he can also add something even better than you'd imagine yourself. Having Nate as your photographer for whatever occasion is a decision that you will be glad you made!

She blends so easily into a crowd that she seems like a friend or a family member and instantly puts everyone at ease. We got some amazing shots: dancing, portraits, families and just fabulous strutting around. It was a year ago and people still ask to see my pictures. And all of this planned with zero stress over a very nice cup of tea. Just show up and Kim will handle the rest. I can't recommend her highly enough.

(I eloped when I got married - so no professional photog there either). My company recently hired Kim to do a series of headshots for each employee and a group shot. We're a playful agency - and the majority of us identify as nerds so posing as "models" is not our natural state of being. However, Kim was great at coaxing out our inner Zoolanders. She really took the time to get to know us and get a feel for our company culture. We spent the day prior to the shoot walking around the area for a couple of hours and determining ideal locations. The following morning she was ready to rock. We did a series of indoor and outdoor shots. Kim has a very comforting and relaxing nature about her. She was able to instantly put me - and my other colleagues - at ease with her warm, positive and genuine personality. As she took photos, she'd let you see the results after a few frames so you could specify what you liked or didn't like about a particular image. If someone didn't want to seem rude or vain and expressed satisfaction, even if they weren't satisfied, Kim would pick up on it immediately. She'd gently offer to take more pics until those that were more self-critical felt comfortable with the product. She spent the entire day photographing our team and not once did she seem tired or annoyed. She seemed sincerely thrilled to be a part of the moment with us. We also got proofs back in rapid time! For all my initial nervousness and hesitation, this was a really fun and positive experience to be a part of. I don't think that would have been possible without Kim behind the lens though. If I ever need professional shots in the future - I know who I'll be going back to :)
