How it appears to work is you can "try before you buy" a membership by making an appointment to swap one item. I'm honestly not sure why an appointment is needed because there was no one else in there when I went for my appointment and the person working in the store doesn't give any one on one attention while you shop. (I preferred this but others might want that). I brought in a nice dress for my swap (brand new with tags), and was surprised to see the condition of most of the clothes available. It's on par with Goodwill. Many things were pilly, faded, stretched out, and some just looked out of style. I took photos of the shoes to show an example of the condition of the items. I was hoping for more of a boutique experience with excellent pieces in good or like new condition. Gently worn is fine for secondhand, but a lot of these things had seen better days. I took my item and left. I can't recommend this place based on what I experienced today.

I completely love the concept of this place and have been a member for years. The best part is that if it doesn't work as well outside of the store, I can bring it back and swap for something else next time. They even participate in textile recycling so I can drop off the sad socks that have not found their mate or my kid's ripped shorts. She wanted to see what styles we might have had in mind so she could start thinking about what to pull. When we arrived, the space felt clean and open. There were many dresses and the staff were all very friendly and offered us a seat and water as we waited for Bea to finish her previous appointment. When Bea came, she was so friendly! It felt like no matter what that she was going to add more sparkles to your day and it truly did feel like she was there to help us. She was very professional in kicking us off by introducing herself then asking me what I was looking for and took some notes. Then started whisking some dresses and us into the dressing room. She was very efficient in helping me in and out of dresses and even giving helpful thoughts on dresses as she continued learning what I might like or not like. I didn't feel like she would try to sell me a dress if I didn't love a dress and if she didn't think it let me feel my best. There were lots of dresses on the floor and they had more somewhere nearby in a warehouse. She was quickly diving in and out to try to find some more options for us. While I didn't find my dress on this visit, there were many beautiful dresses even if they were not my style or size at times. I was also a bit doubtful on how I would feel as I tried dresses on but Bea was so supportive throughout it all that it feels like you're shopping with a very knowledgeable friend. The experience itself with Bea does make me hopeful I can find something with them and I am going to try to visit again when I'm back in town. She has such a sweet personality and really seemed to understand my vision from our conversations, while still being incredibly go-with-the-flow when my party started exploring dresses on their own. Wedding dress shopping can be overwhelming because you walk in not knowing what to expect or what you're "supposed" to do, but Elizabeth never made any of us feel like we were doing anything wrong. Most importantly, I truly felt like she wanted me to find the dress that made me happy, rather than ever pushing an agenda or a particular choice. She'd ask a question, and I felt like she genuinely wanted to hear the answer and let it guide where we went next, rather than use the information to steer me toward a particular decision. It wasn't even started. Luckily, I'm a planner so told her I needed it a day before I actually did. She said she'd do it overnight. I went in the morning and put it on. No. But I was quite aware that I was the only one who looked like she was going to work. Never will use Susanna again.

I wanted simple with specific details on my hard to fit (and flatter) plus size frame. I went to have consult with her and was a little discouraged by the 80's looking lacy gowns, but she was cheap. She ended up totally hooking me up! An my mom got her mother of the bride skirt, jacket and shell done by her too. We were very pleased!
