I've been to a few japanese gardens and this one was okay. It had your essential bridge and water front like all the gardens I've been to. Overall, the scenery was not the best. It was pretty simple and bare to be honest. The attracting factor is the cherry blossoms, but sadly they were not in bloom when I went so the trees were bare.
If I didn't specifically know that it was a japanese garden I would've thought it a regular garden. There was nothing here that signified that it was a japanese garden. I didn't see many structures. I did a walk around and was pretty disappointed. I wanted more. There were little structures around, but nothing grand.
I would advise being careful while walking around and being watchful of your surroundings because my sister and I saw a snake slithering around near the low shrubs. It was frightening because it was literally by the walkway. read more
