Fascinating part of the Western Sydney Cycleway and Sydney's early history.
Originally known as the Boothtown Aquaduct
Disappointing part is the lack of parking. Needed to park in front of someones house on Macquarie Road
My step daughter and I went for a drive out there to have a look. There's history boards at each end...just a pity they haven't been maintained and the one at the western end can't be read under the graffiti covered plastic. Why hasn't Holroyd Council maintained them?
Theres a nice view of local backyards and a sports field from the top of the aqueduct. Very little else to do there, but it was nice to be able to share some of Sydney's history read more
