My knee used to lock up constantly while walking and now I can even hike and play sports again with few issues. Daniel gave me helpful exercises and made me feel comfortable with the level of pain during exercises; I learned to distinguish between normal growing pains and true harmful pain. My chronic neck pain of 3+ years is complicated. It can be daunting to address, but Daniel instantly gave me so much relief. I am still working on preventing flare ups because much of it has to do with poor posture over time, but I am SO much better off than before. One of the greatest things about this treatment is I finally have the tools to help myself when I can't make it in to see a provider. These longterm tools will help me hopefully reach complete healing. Rehab specialist, Clint, is kind, offers great directions and support, and is clearly a wonderful person. He works well with providers to give you the best care and makes sure you don't have any questions before you leave. Swedish Ballard e.r. diagnosed some (but not all) of the breaks and had me follow up with dr ruhlman. getting an appointment was easy and they got me in very quickly. for my first visit I chose the Wallingford location, which is very easy to find and access. i arrived approx 10 mins before my appt time, was checked in right away, and was brought back before my official appt time even began! the nurses were friendly and made me feel very comfortable. once i was in the room and all of my vitals were taken, i waited maybe 5 mins for dr ruhlman to see me. he's nice, thorough, has amazing credentials, and found another broken bone that the e.r. had missed and since it was the one causing me the most pain, I almost started crying with relief. he laid out my plan for healing and gave me realistic expectations. the next follow up was in the ballard office and everything there was also smoothe. my only complaint is that sometimes when i've called with a question, i got into a looiiing wait on hold before talking with a human.

Dr. Wagner is great with diagnosis and has a calming bedside. In terms of stem cell treatment, I had my left hip done and while it took a good 6 months for the treatment to start reducing pain within a year I was like brand new. He never guarantees results carefully pointing out that while his success rate is very good some treatments don't work. And be careful getting counter advice from surgeons. There is big money in hip/knee replacement and the last thing they want is for some non-invasive treatment to cut into their cash cow.

My partner had a serious issue with her knee and…read moreEli's response was to tell her how impossible it was for him to help her every single day she saw him (which was super demoralizing), then tell her to go see a surgeon (which we already were doing). He didn't suggest we see another PT, he didn't try anything new to see if he could make progress, he didn't even take any ownership and set reasonable achievable goals that he could help with. He just kept charging us sessions and saying "he needs instructions from the surgeon". By comparison, several surgeons told my partner that they couldn't handle her case and suggested people who could (without needing an appointment). This would have been an acceptable way to handle the situation. We eventually found an amazing PT who helped her make a ton of progress even before she has gone through surgery. That person actually took it upon themselves to help my partner get her range of motion up to 80+ degrees (from 50) and significantly improve muscle strength to help prepare for post surgery recovery. They frequently change strategies and used stuff like BFR to get past plateaus they reached. If you have a relatively simple case. Alpine might be fine. But if you have extensive scar tissue or post surgery complications, you might as well light your money on fire. It's about as useful as Eli.
