Her responses were always quick and helpful. We didn't feel rushed or pushed to purchase a puppy. We had a call with her so that she could explain the breed and to make sure we didn't have any questions. The whole process from when we emailed them about a pup to when we got our pup took under two weeks! She has also been very helpful when we had questions months later because our boy was experiencing a rash. We are still in contact with her and send her updates from time to time and she even updates up on Bear's litter mates! I would highly recommend Ali to anyone looking for a quality bully!

I wrote a review of this fantastic facility back in March when we were heading to Lexington,…read moreKentucky with our pregnant mare. Four months later, my wife and I drove to Lexington to pick up our rebred mare and her three month old filly. We boarded the mare and filly overnight at Phoenix Farm and stayed in town....about 7 miles down the highway. The second stay was just as nice as the first. Genie Stewart, the owner, boards a number of horses full time. I don't think that overnight boarding is a huge part of her business, but we are glad she makes it available. She let us put our mare and filly in her large, triangle shaped turnout for a few hours so the horses could stretch, graze and relax before going into their large stall. \ Genie really put a lot of effort into preparing the oversized stall for us....including putting down a couple of bags of very nice pelletized bedding. Like before, she let us drop our trailer and clean it out. We left for our hotel around 4 pm and came back by to check on the horses at around 7 p.m. When we came back, Genie and one of her young clients (a wonderful young lady name Lexi) had given Fancy a much needed bath...rinsed off the foal...and applied fly spray to both. Genie and Lexi fed Fancy and the baby on Thursday night and Friday morning. Genie checked on the horses a couple of times before bed and early in the morning. She gave us a very reassuring report about how the horses did overnight. Genie and Lexi helped us load Fancy and the filly on Friday morning. Just out of this world service. Genie just charged us $30.00 to keep our horses on her beautiful, gated property.....a price she really needs to raise. We will likely make the pilgrimage through Jackson, Tennessee twice a year with our mare. Phoenix Farm will be a part of each trip. Our heartfelt thanks to Genie and Lexi for all of the great help.

Five stars for Muddy Paws!…read more Last weekend my golden retriever, normally a perfect gentleman, discovered the one and only mud hole at our local dog park. Out of an entire park of clean grass and gravel paths, he found the single muddy spot and committed to it fully. He rolled, he wiggled, he flipped onto his back with pure joy. By the time he was done, my "golden" retriever looked like a chocolate lab. I drove straight to Muddy Paws, and it was exactly what I needed. The self-service setup made it easy: the tubs are a good height, the water temperature was comfortable, and everything I needed was right there, from shampoo to towels to the dryer. No appointment, no waiting, and I could take my time and keep an eye on my boy the whole way through.

I had a 4.5 pound Yorkiepoo who was attacked (I know he was small and that didn't help things) I…read morecalled and brought him to this facility, they kept him over the weekend and gave him fluids and antibiotics and said they were putting in drains on Monday morning. After the drains were put in he had a nasty infection at the sight and would not eat nor drink. After a few days I took him back, they held him for a couple hours to give him fluids and try to feed him, he still was not better when I took him 2 days later. On Saturday I took him in to have his drains pulled as directed but Dr. Tart. They didn't have a room available and PULLED his drains in an NON-STERILE ENVIRONMENT!! Knowing he had a RAGING INFECTION!!. When I received him back he was shaking like a leaf, and there was a GAPING HOLE where the drain had been. The tissue around the site was EXTREMELY DEEP and NECROSE (dead tissue) and wide enough for me to fit TWO of my fingers in. When I mentioned this I was informed that if I brought him back Monday they would close the wound and remove the tissue. It was not done that day due to them wanting to be out of the office by NOON and DID NOT want to stay long enough to help my dog, he kept shaking and I assumed it was from pain and took him home. That night I noticed he was breathing harder than normal but assumed it was from the pain as well, flash forward to 11 pm and he sounded like he had rice krispes in his lungs when he breathed in and out. Me being an retired RN knew that it was very possible that they had nicked his lung and he was either leaking fluid into his lungs or had a collapsed lung unfortunately It was to late to take him anywhere so I was going to take him first thing Sunday morning! Around 1:30 Sunday morning my granddaughter woke me up and said to go check on the dog, I walked in and found that he had died. My Dog DIED due to NEGLIGENCE. PlZ keep your fur babies safe and don't take them to these modern day BUTCHERS! Drive farther or pay extra

My female Boston Terrier Maggie went missing in 2018 under the Cocoa Beach Pier in Florida. I…read moresearched for her for approximately 2.5 years. I would cry myself to sleep every night praying for my dog Maggie's safe return. Thankfully my baby girl Maggie was microchipped. I was reunited with my dog Maggie around February of 2021 with the help of my best friend Nikki (who is starting a Boston Terrier rescue in Santa Rosa, California very soon) and with the help of Boston Terrier rescue organizations such as Southern Cross Boston Terrier Rescue and Boston Terrier Rescue of Florida, Inc., Maggie was found under the same pier in Cocoa Beach where she disappeared. It was a miracle and I'll always be grateful for everyone that helped me get my baby back. Please always have your animals microchipped. If you lose your animal, always keep your microchip registration up to date, and please don't ever give up hope. Keep searching for your loved one, don't let anyone talk you out of this important step in finding your loved one and being reunited with them once again. Please don't be confused, these organizations are all run by volunteers and these volunteers help these dear animals out of the kindness of their hearts. If you find it difficult to reach someone by contacting this organization, or another organization like Southern Cross Boston Terrier Rescue, just keep trying. If you need to surrender you dog, for any reason, please don't give up on trying to contact someone who will take your dog. If you aren't able to surrender your dog, or you aren't able to adopt a dog from Southern Cross Boston Terrier Rescue at the time of your inquiry, please don't be dismayed. These organizations are run by volunteers, and often times they may not have the ability to return your call or email immediately, due to having low staffing and/or due to having reached maximum capacity for their animal rescue organization, and this can especially be the case after the Covid Pandemic. If you run into a situation where you are turned away, please ask to be referred to another Boston Terrier Rescue organization that may have the ability to assist you. These brave souls, once adopted by us, often end up being a significant source of comfort to us, and at times, even our sole rock in this life. By showering us with unconditional love, acceptance, understanding, support, attention, and protecting us, we begin to see our lives improve for the better just by saving the lives of these animals in need. Not only will these adopted animals quickly come to trust, love, comfort, and accept us unconditionally, they have also been known to vigilantly watch over us and our family and give their own lives in order to save ours. For example. Sadly, some individuals aren't able to care for their animals due to time constraints, lack of resources, perhaps that cannot afford the expensive veterinary costs associated with caring for an aging dog. Maybe they moved where animals aren't permitted, they may have welcomed a new addition to the family who was allergic to animals, they may have become disabled, or perhaps they are elderly themselves, or they are experiencing extreme fatigue, financial hardship, debilitating illnesses in their lives that make caring for an animal impossible for them to manage. Whatever the case may be, these animals, with so much love left to give, are often abandoned, surrendered to animal shelters, or surrendered to animal rescues. Non Profit Organizations, such as Southern Cross Boston Terrier Rescue, truly make the world a better place. They provide so many amazing and deserving animals with a warm, loving, caring, and comfortable place to stay, and by finding forever homes for these animals, where they can go to live in peace, joy, and happiness for the remainder of their lives. Southern Cross Boston Terrier Rescue also provides emergency veterinary care to the animals who come to be in their care, animals that might otherwise be euthanized, or much worse, left to suffer and die in excruciating pain. Please know that your love and support, via liking, sharing, reviewing, and otherwise spreading the word about these organizations, such as Southern Cross Boston Terrier Rescue on social media, Yelp, Google, TrustPilot, Facebook, etc. all make a significant impact. You can also show your support by choosing to volunteer your time, by donating funds, by donating belongings, by donating a vehicle, by donating pet food and pet supplies (to support the resources needed when caring for these animals), by fostering an animal, by sponsoring, really any way you are able to help these animals by supporting organizations, such as Southern Cross Boston Terrier Rescue, truly makes the World a better place, by improving and saving the lives of so many animals in need. Since many of these animals often go in life to comfort, assist and even save the lives of people in need, your support truly succeeds in saving all lives!
