Even though the shop is literally behind my corner, I only discovered them when they started delivery via UberEats. Their toasts on the app are extremely delicious, I've tried both the Avo & hummus and the Falafel Appel one. Except for being filling and yummy they are also absolutely beautiful. They really look like the picture you see on the app, unlike most delivery foods. After trying them that way, I was interested enough to go and give them a visit and try their delicious cakes. I discovered that the shop has the friendliest owner who is happy to give you more info about her fantastic cakes. But most importantly, all the cakes I tried up till now were simply scrumptious. The menu contains a variety of Asian cuisine, but tonight I had the Japanese green tea (Senchatee) for CHF 7.50 and Yasai Yaki Udon for CHF 23.90. Pan-fried noodles with shitake mushrooms, soybean sprouts, snow peas, carrots, tofu, and baby corn, it was filling and quite tasty. I've been eating a lot of spicy food lately, so at first my dish seemed a bit bland, but then the sourness of the baby corn really stood out against the chewy noodle base and gave it a nice kick. All-in-all, a pleasant dinner, and I'd like to come back some time to try one of the hot pots on their extensive menu.

I was pleased to discover that the market sells products from SE Asia, too. -though I don't think that they carry fish sauce. As I made my way to the counter, I saw that So. Asian magazines were also for sale. The other half of the store, the smell of which permeates throughout, is taken up by the fishmonger. I'd be keen on going back and checking out their selection next time I'm in the 'hood.
